Small spot on fender, was told no problem we can get that for you, I'm an unlimited member, will send it to detail, took about three minutes to rub out .... charged 40$ dollars, no mention of charge before wash. Should have told me there would be a charge.

Very bad service and unprofessional staff. I have taken my car to this place several times over the last 18 months or so. Every single time I had to perform the quality control myself asking to re-vacuum, re-wash, or re-wipe the car and spots that they have missed. Today things took an even worse turn. The car was not vacuumed at all although I have paid $130 for the service. I pointed this out, and they offered to re-vacuum. However, many areas and spots were not done the second time. The staff refused to call the manager for me, asked me to lower my expectations, and used racist references toward me. This is unacceptable and very shameful.

Poor cleaning, poor customer service, zero professionalism. I was told my wash would take 20-30 minutes but after I’d been there for over an hour, I went to check on it. I asked one of the employees about my car & was told had been done for “about 20 minutes or so…idk but it’s been done for a while”. When addressing the issue with the supervisor, she responded to my complaint with, “I mean, 20 minutes isn’t that long.” Unbelievable. Will never go back.

Letter to Cobblestone Auto Spa
Cobblestone Auto Spa Corporate Team
15816 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
Dear Cobblestone Auto Spa Corporate Team,
I am writing to share my experience with the service I received at your Gilbert, AZ location at the corner of Higley and Queen Creek on September 6, 2024, regarding my 2018 Ram Promaster Campervan. The purpose of this letter is to seek a fair resolution to a situation that, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations, despite efforts on both sides to address the issues.
Please note that the conversation with the staff after picking up the van was recorded to ensure all facts remain accurate. Unfortunately, the initial drop-off conversation was not recorded.
The Facts:
On September 6, 2024, I dropped off my van at 7:15 AM and provided clear instructions to the staff. I requested a hand wash and specifically asked for the top of the van to be polished. The reason for this request was that I wanted to see if the faded paint on the top could be polished to match the shiny lower portion of the van. If the top polished out well, I would have considered further work to blend the appearance.
At 9:36 AM, I received a call from the location stating that the work was completed. However, upon arriving around 12:00 PM, I found that my instructions had not been followed. The top had not been polished, and instead, the bottom half had been polished, which was the exact opposite of what I had requested. This created an even more noticeable contrast between the faded top and the polished bottom, worsening the appearance of the van.
The Impact:
I approached the sales representative to address the issue, and they explained that they had not polished the top because they believed it “would never polish out.” However, I had successfully polished the hood, which was in the same condition as the roof, and knew that the top could be improved. I suggested they try polishing a small, inconspicuous spot as a test.
Rather than following my suggestion, the sales rep responded by saying, “I’ll just have him go over it.” The technician began polishing the top in direct sunlight, with temperatures exceeding 105 degrees Fahrenheit. This resulted in the compound baking into the paint, leaving swirl marks and dried polishing compound on the surface.
Additionally, the sales representative asked how long it took me to polish the van myself after I returned the next day to show them the results. The honest answer was that it took me longer to set up the ladder and lights than it did to polish the van.
The following day, I returned to show the staff my results. The sales representative claimed that I had polished the “easiest side” and initially provided several excuses for why the job hadn’t been done as requested. He also mentioned, “This is why we didn’t want to do this job,” but at no point during the original quote did anyone inform me they were hesitant to take on the work.
After further discussion, the store manager quoted me an additional $1,000 to finish the job. My request to at least remove the excess compound that had baked into the paint was dismissed. The fact that the van was returned to me with compound still stuck to the paint, without an attempt to inform me it couldn’t be removed, made me feel as though my concerns weren’t properly addressed.
Evidence of these interactions, such as call logs, location history, and screenshots of communication, are attached below.
Photo Evidence:
Before the work was completed (Original condition of the van):

Place tried to aggressively scam me into a membership. Even when I told them I was from Florida. The guy kept saying let me just get your debit card, it will be free, let me get your debit card. It was weird, scammy and aggressive. Won’t be back.

I’ve never in my life left a google review before, but I couldn’t let this issue go. I want to make sure everyone is aware before reading…I tried calling the store I went to MULTIPLE times. You just sit on a hold loop for a few minutes until it hangs up on you. I have left messages. I have left my phone number. I have emailed the main office. I have even emailed the “review” email you see in all their canned replies to their negative reviews. I have gone down to the store, but no manager is available. So at this point I think I have done my part and can honestly say they have given me the poorest service possible, and it needs to be known by the public.
I went to the store on Queen Creek and Higley this past weekend. I went for a full detail on my work truck. Seats and carpets cleaned, waxed, vents blown out…a full on service. I paid $355 dang dollars for the service. One more time…$355! I feel like I had a right to have some higher expectations when paying that much to get a car cleaned. They told me two hours…but we all know that their times are bogus. 4 hours later I got the call it was done. I went to go pick it up…close to none of the services I had paid for were done. Seats and carpet weren’t cleaned at all. The were supposed to be shampooed and they were barely vacuumed. Not washed. Windows all spotted. I couldn't tell if the vents were blown out, but it didn't smell like a clean car smells. Heck…there were still leaves in the bed of the truck. You’d think for $355 they would at least hose the leaves out of the bed?! Literally all they did was give it a wash and shine up the tires and dash. Please believe me, I’m not exaggerating. That is all that was done. I complained…the guy cleaning didn’t speak good English. No fault on him, but he didn’t know how to help. I get a different guy, he says it’s all been done. So I’m lying? I ask for a manager…none was available. It was almost closing time and I was SOL. I was given a number to call and voucher for a free wash. And here we are today. No response from anyone.
I have been to this carwash probably a hundred times over the years, never had an issue. But my expectations have always been low, it’s always just been for a wash. I can tell you from experience…keep them low. I would never allow them to do anything more than clean the dirt off and shine the tires. I had to learn that the hard way. Trust the reviews here, they aren’t wrong. If you look at the good reviews, it’s all just for a regular carwash. If that was what I had paid for I would be happy too. I doubt I’ll go back at all after this, but never for anything more than a wash. I'm not "that guy". I'm not a complainer. But after paying so much and getting so little, and then to be ignored when I've been a customer for so long. It's not right you guys.
Cobblestone: You have a serious management issue at this facility and it’s costing you customers. I suggest you make some changes or your reputation is going to make it easy for someone to take this business. And before you send your generic response asking me to write you – Don’t. Instead, check your inbox. I have been trying to let you resolve this and you failed yourselves.

I recently purchased a car wash plan online from Cobblestone Car Wash and received a barcode for redemption. However, my experience at the location near me was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, the staff informed me that they couldn’t use the online code and insisted I sign up again, promising a refund for the online purchase.
After spending an hour there as they struggled to resolve the issue, I left without any success. I returned two more times, hoping for a better outcome, but I still couldn’t get any help. Ultimately, I had to cancel the plan myself online.
Overall, this experience was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. I expected a seamless process, but instead, I encountered inefficiency and poor customer service. I cannot recommend Cobblestone Car Wash based on this experience.

I guess I get to join the list of one stars for this place,
Went in almost two weeks ago, have been saving points for years and finally get enough points to utilize a service they offer and they didnt honor there rewards services!! I had sent out an email to corporate to express my recent transaction with their company and it took almost two weeks to get a generic ass answer back not even a care to know what happened!!
Way to go cobblestone on the awesome customer service !! You clearly don’t mind by looking at the wonderful one star reviews people keep posting! I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Full service did not vacuum my car and left the outside with spots, bird poop, smudges on the windows, and spray smell on leather seats (wet spots). Will not use full service again. Express wash is nice and car wash line (machines) is great, but wipe, vacuum, and clean inside yourself in the self-service bays.

Absolutely do not go here! Sooo bad. So so bad. We paid for a detail, which cost over $300. We showed up at 7 am, and were the first car in. 6 hours later we got a call that it was done. When we got there they had drained the battery by keeping it on, had left dirt streaks on all the seats from the shampoo and hadn’t even done the cup holders and trunk. 3 hours after that (yes… we are at 9 hours now), they still hadn’t finished and when we asked the manager for a partial refund, he offered a free car wash and refused to offer any refund. And then when the car was finally “done” (there was still trash in the cup holders and the windows were never cleaned) the manger was no where to be found. We paid over $300 and was denied a refund of any sort AND the manager didn’t even check in the end, after 9 hours, to make sure the car was done well.
As we were waiting for the manager (though the second time we didn’t stick around) two of the employees there said they couldn’t believe the manager didn’t give us our money back.
This isn’t just one of those reviews about “they did a terrible job” or “they could have done better”. This was so insane we couldn’t actually believe it was happening. 9 hours.
This was terrible.

I had a very disappointing experience at Cobblestone Queen Creek. When I arrived, there was no one at the counter, and I waited for almost 10 minutes before someone finally showed up. The first person who came simply looked at me without saying a word and then left. Another person came after that, and when I asked for help, he also disappeared without assisting me. Finally, after another 4-5 minutes, someone else arrived to help, but by that time, I had been waiting for around 15 minutes. The worst part was the complete lack of concern from the staff. The person who eventually assisted me seemed indifferent to the fact that I had been waiting so long, as if this kind of service is normal there. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I felt like my time and needs were not valued at all.
