Looking for low quality childcare for your children? Then this is your school! Dirty, infested in bugs, and not Montessori at all!!!! Rude new director with no people skills whatsoever! None of the staff members have proper Montessori training.

DOB for a child should never be a requirement for quoting pricing. I called to get info on pricing for daycare services and was told they couldn't answer any of my questions or "proceed" without my child's full name and date of birth. This is crazy and completely unnecessary.

Both my boys are attend Smaller scholar Montessori academy for the past 3 years and truly this is the best preschool you will ever encounter. From Ms Darling to Ms Tiphanie to Ms Patricia to Ms lily to Ms Lorraine and all the staff have been so kind, attentive and give our kids so much love and care and our kids have advanced so much academically.

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a full time daycare for my child. Being from a smaller town, I was fairly naive to how many different choices there are in childcare. I’m new to the Montessori concept, but was interested in learning more and seeing the setting. The director was not helpful and almost felt as though she was interviewing me. I actually loved the classroom and the idea of having independent work instead of traditional play and a more structured environment. I wont be enrolling my child based on my interactions with the director. She could use some direction in how to give information more graceful and not treat other adults like their incompetent.

This is such an amazing school! My son has an amazing teacher, I feel so comfortable knowing he is well taken care of as if I were there caring for him myself. All the teachers are caring, thoughtful and always accommodating to your ever changing needs.

Smaller Scholars, Ms Darling, and the whole team are amazing! Our daughter really enjoyed her time here. Everyone is so caring and professional, she really thrived under their care. We would have stayed if we didn’t move across town. Thank you to everyone at Smaller Scholars for providing such outstanding care and a wonderful learning environment!

Smaller Scholars is more that we could have ever imagined for our family. Our son loves his teachers and classmates so much. Miss Ellie is a staple name in our house these day, as the impression she is leaving on our son day in and day out is nothing short of amazing. Miss Madi, Miss Tara & even Miss Jenny have been so wonderful to helping in teach our son to become the little man he is today. The school/teachers and curriculum has focused on our Child's development like how he interacts with others, how he handles his daily activities, cause and effect, and much much more. Our little man has flourished since starting Smaller Scholars Montessori Academy. Thank you to everyone at the school as they are all integral parts of the process.

As first time parents, we did not know what questions to ask when touring day cares. Ms. Darling and Smaller Scholars was our first tour and she answered all of our questions. We even needed to push our start date back, and the school was very accommodating. Since starting at Smaller Scholars in November 2021, there have been some staffing changes. Although we miss our little one's original teacher, the staff transitioned the new teachers into his classroom and he seems to have adjusted well. We appreciate getting updates throughout the day in the app, and I LOVE seeing the pictures they take of my baby exploring and doing fun activities with friends.

Smaller Scholars is the best decision we’ve made for our daughter! I had a niece that attended here a few years ago, and knew if I had a kid, mine would go here too! My niece is now 8, and loves learning and still applies the knowledge she learned from Smaller Scholars(she’s so clean and responsible)! My daughter has been attending here for 3 weeks and we have seen a big improvement in her behavior, her confidence, and development! Everyone in the school is really nice and the communication is beyond my expectations. I love that they have an app where I can view pictures of her activities throughout the day. We did have to wait for spots to open, but it was 100% worth the wait. My only regret is not starting my daughter at an earlier age!

Since 2020, my son has attended school here and has loved it. The teachers and staff have always been open with me and so understanding when addressing any questions I may have. This school has kept the children safe and in a stable environment as best as possible through the last two years, and they continue to ensure a clean and safe environment. I am so happy to have my son enrolled at this school!

Smaller Scholars is a great school. We looked at many different places before choosing Smaller Scholars. The infant classroom vibes are what made our decision easy to trust Smaller Scholars to take care of our 6 month old son. Its been almost 5 years since then and my son looks forward to going to school at Smaller Scholars every day.

1st thing that caught my eye was how super clean this school. My 3 year old has been enrolled now for 6 weeks and he has been healthy the entire time. He started with a rough week at drop off times due to separation anxiety but warmed up very quickly to the friendly and caring staff.. now he can't wait to get to school in the morning. Thank you miss Patricia, Mss Darling, and miss Tiffany for your great job.

We love Smaller Scholars! We’ve been sending our boys (now 5 and 3) there since they were each 3 months old. All the staff at Smaller Scholars have been wonderful and really care about my boys. They are patient and have taught them so many things. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful staff! My 2.5 year old loves coming to school and seeing his teachers and my 4 month old is always so happy when I get pictures from the school. I feel so comfortable with this school teaching my kids and would recommend them 10,000 times over!

*$$They just want your tax return$$As a first time mother during this pandemic, I was very unhappy with my experience. Took too long to give me information, acted like the questions I had for their precautions on the delta variant were rude. The director was rude? Don’t understand why I was transferred to her if she was too busy to speak to me for 5 mins. Her assistant actually had an attitude with me for asking if she could assure me that all teachers were vaccinated, I understand confidentiality, but they were awfully offended I had asked? I didn’t understand why her tone got so rough with me. It is not mandatory for teachers to get vaccinated at this location. She informed me that everyone was encouraged to wear a mask but did not specifically say they would enforce this as their highest priority. I’ve spoken to 3 other schools, this place was the least concerned and unprofessional. Do not pay to send your child here if yourself and family care about health and safety.They seem to be low on business, we all know we are most likely to get sick from our kids, they don’t seem to care as much as I do.
