Do not recommend this location. On 1/27/23 we put a deposit down on an electric vehicle. In September we requested the deposit back, since it was taking too long to get the vehicle. It is now November and we have just been getting the run around to get the deposit back. We have filled out the paper, made more than 10 phone calls. Continued to be told the check is in the mail. It has been weeks and no check. The dealer shop won't even return our phone calls.

Updated: Still no response from the General Manager, this is by far the worst dealership I've worked with and i buy alot of trucks every year. I've now had to engage an attorney to help navigate what the dealership said was easy to cancel add ons. Avoid this place at all cost. Any dealer is better than this place.Terrible experience dealing with the finance dept. I told the sales guy we didn't want any add ons and warranties, after making us wait for 2 hours we finally got into finance and he pressues us into buying a bunch of warranities we didn't want or need and said we can cancel at anytime. I've been trying to cancel for 2 months now and they just stopped responding to me. I'd avoid this dealership and all autonation. I own a business and have purchased 14 trucks so far this year from the comfort of my desk. They are complicating something that is easy in an attempt to wear you down and get you to sign up for things you don't need. I just followed up with the GM again today, I guess if he doesn't respond the next email comes from one of my attornies. To help put this in context, i asked for these add ons to be cancelled on August 8th and now its October 24th. They are either incompent or they have a total disregard to thier customers but either way AutoNation Chevy Gilbert will never see a dime from me again.

Now I'm dealing with a recall issued BEFORE we bought the car. Two weeks and several Poor responses we're Still waiting. To bad you can't put negative stars.

I drove my car to the service department because of a misfired code. The service rep contacted me and informed me of what was wrong, and I agreed to the repairs and payed for it when it was done. I went to the dealership to pick up my car, the hood was ajar, doors unlocked, and it wouldn't start. If I drive a car in to be fixed, I expect to drive it out of the dealership.

The service department had my vehicle for 3.5 weeks. Finally get the car back and hours later it won't start properly and stalls out within 10 seconds of turning over. Opened the hood and discover that not only did the mechanic fail to tighten down the clamp holding the intake in place it wasn't even attached correctly. This is basic mechanic 101.

I've purchased a great number of vehicles throughout my life time and these guys far exceed my expectations. Probably one of the best dealer experiences I've had in my life. Sales was awesome and my sales man Benji and his manager Joseph went out of their way to provide us awesome service. Took my vehicle in the next day for Tint and the service department was as equally responsive. We never felt rushed or hostage like other dealers have had us the past. The finance deal worked very well but could of been a little faster. Still got a great deal and an a fantastic new car. Love it. ThanksUpdate to my original review!!!The finance group is really slow in paying off your trade in if you have one. They took a total of 33 days to close out my transaction. They had more explanations why they hadn't accomplished this yet but my trade in was even up for sale on the lot long before. I even had to make another payment to stop my credit being reflected upon. That process could of been faster. Still like the dealer but need to work on a few things.

I'll start off with what they did well. Robert Light (the finance guy) provided 5-star service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us get the best value on the deal. He beat our bank's rate which was cool. We bought the platinum warranty because it made sense not because he pressured us into it. We were in and out off his office in around 20 minutes. This is how streamlined car buying should be.We had to wait for about an hour and a half to get invited to sign the documents with Robert. This is the part that I don't like about most car dealers. There seems to be gross disrespect for the time of the buyer. They are are very willing to let customers wait and wait and wait with the emaciated promise that you will be served soon. I won't call out our salesman by name in this review but we were disappointed in the level of service provided.

It's hard finding a truck or car to buy now a days due to lack of inventory and I guess supply and demand so we went on to the Chevy website and designed our own Silverado to order that's going to take three months to get lol. 65K later we walked out the door not sure if we wanted to wait that long for a new truck. The sales guy was patient and kind my boyfriend isn't the easiest of customers to deal with so my hats off to him. We're not sure if we're going to go with a Chevy or head back to Toyota either way if you're looking to buy a new Chevy truck or car I can recommend coming here the sales guys are amazing.

I hadn't intended to write this article but after my attempted online buying experience at the AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert on a New Bolt EUV LT.After doing a little price searching on the internet I came across an advertisement for available Bolt EUV LT available at their dealership and as you can see the AutoNation Price is clearly marked but when it comes time to purchase suddenly the price went from the below MSRP advertised $32,830 to a whopping $41,784. My salesman Cameron and Manager Christopher both gave me the $32,830 price over the phone and guaranteed to hold the car for me I asked them to send me purchase and leasing pricing based on my trade and bait and switch was on. Needless to say I declined to purchase and promised to write this article to warn others. My recommendation is to buy elsewhere!
