This woman should have her license revoked from the board. My sister went in for pelvic floor pain... they had her stretching her hamstring because "it really helps with lower back pain". The exams she administered caused bleeding and severe pain, and she was extremely insensitive and disinterested helping the patient feel understood. As other comments have said, the (non-certified) techs are doing the majority of the work, and any infrequent interactions with Mandy are very rushed "copy and paste" solutions and done in a way that instills zero trust.

I had the most traumatizing experience here today. First off, it took 3 hours… I considered walking out half way through and I wish I did. Mandy is the only PT and the techs run the show, which is illegal btw. Mandy does all the pelvic floor therapy and normal physical therapy, she probably had 10 patients there at one time. The office is run like an assembly line. It is clear their treatments are a copy and paste approach, you will not be receiving personalized care here. I went for pelvic floor therapy since I just had a baby and she couldn’t even clearly articulate what the problem was. This is likely because she didn’t do more than a 3 minute evaluation to even know. Also, I saw her doing manipulations on every single patient. She cracked my entire spine and manipulated my whole pelvis. My back is on fire still and it’s been 10 hours later. I’m scared she messed my body up more. She’s not even a trained chiropractor. To be doing manipulations like that on people is terrifying! I was in pain almost the entire visit due to everything they were doing to me, it felt like I was being tortured for 3 hours. Steer clear of physical therapy clinics like this, this is NOT how physical therapy should be done. It’s deceptive and unethical. Period.

Great customer service, office is pretty beautiful and restrooms are like from a magazine! I even got a massage in the problem area. Everything exceeded my expectations. I have received physical therapy somewhere else for plantar fasciitis and here just the first appointment was 100x better. Even if it is a really long drive for me, I enjoyed everything. I need to add that everyone seem like they love their job, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring.

My first appointment for pelvic floor PT, I waited over an hour for the PT eval which lasted about 5 minutes, got burned by the tens machine (it blistered after I left and is still healing), and was told by the receptionist the PT would want me to come in 3x a week, which is outrageous. Not going back.

Mandy’s “Team System” gives you more for your value & body than any typical PT who just has a one shot approach. From the preparation - TEMs - plus Massage plus Stretching plus her focused personal therapy … AND her ability to use chiropractic techniques - And yes there can be “good pain” ?involved to get you better!

I have shoulder pain and limited range in both arms plus back pain. After being checked out by the doctor, he recommended Physical Therapy. I came here because my wife had rotator cuff surgery and did so well and now has full range of use. I now have much greater range of motion, less pain and am able to do so much more! The staff is friendly, courteous. I highly recommend Advanced Physical Therapy!

As a medical provider I work with doctors and physical therapists from the entire state of AZ Advanced Pt could have the worst patient care I have ever seen. To not work with other medical cohorts to find answers for patients is simply unexceptable and to ignore doctor Rx is even worse. Would not send a family member how can in send the public. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

Dr. Mandy Aldous is the best physical therapist. We have been to many offices, but she works on all areas. The staff is super friendly and competent.

Look at her disciplinary action. She cares more about your money than health. My wife went there for 5 months, 3 times a week and made little progress. She now goes somewhere else 2 times a week and has made far more progress in just a few weeks. Also she way over books so be prepared to wait for your appointments. A 1 hour appointment could take 2 hours.

Mandy has healing hands gifted to her by God. I first start coming here a couple years ago, totally broken. I was in a dirt bike accident were I broke 14 bones, 4 ribs in multiple places, punctured my right lung, completely shattered my scapula and my and clavicle. I now have 3 titanium plates, 29 screws, multi lever discectomy. Kids don't try this at home... I've spent count less days here returning to, no, actually stronger than before. From the moment you walk In the door two very nice and sweet ladies start the process of making you feel like family. Her entire staff is amazing, there all caring, loving, and wonderful. Ryan always makes sure I have a cold bottle of water in my hands when I get there, thanks buddy. That all do there job with compassion and always to the fullest. I'm now moving from the valley out to Nashville and I'm sad to say it's time to say goodbye to my new family... thank you Mandy for bringing me back to life. Your entire team will always hold a place in my heart.

My mother has been going to PT for about 6 months now and I must say, the staff is amazing. My ONLY complaint/concern is the lack of precautions in place in relation to COVID. The staff do not wear masks despite the city mandate or masks are frequently removed during sessions. Employees are visibly sick and continue to work with patients. There are too many patients scheduled at one time to social distance. We have decided not to continue treatment, I understand the importance of maintaining a business, but not at the expense of our health.

Horrible place that has no idea what they’re doing, they just want heads in the door so they can collect your $$

I call BS on the bad reviews that are posted attacking Mandy. PT is rough stuff. Cant handle the truth and quality treatment that is not fun, then don't get healed and go somewhere else. I recommend Mandy to everyone in our community who wants to get the best treatment.

Mandy is superb and very dedicated to her craft. She is always in good mood, holding positive attitude and I always feel like she is more interested in treating my ailment than sometimes myself. She is funny, jovial and a wonderful person. I am a repeat patient and she has been my go to for PT on various tennis related injuries. She has a very supportive staff and ready to help. Stellar practice and caring people. Thank you.
