It is a magical place. I can hear the creaking floor now. First went there with there with my late wife in mid 70s.I’m going to visit one more time, soon.

This is one of the best trading posts we've been to. Lots of history and even rug weaving on site. Beautiful building

From Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site
Hubbell Trading Post is the oldest continuously operating trading post in the American Southwest. Hubbell’s is about the culture, tradition, and artistry of a place that is steeped in the history of the West while continuing today as a living, thriving, active trading post.
Hubbell's is famous for its wonderful selection of authentic Navajo rugs and other southwest American Indian arts and crafts. Check in at the visitor center, where you’ll find extensive exhibits about the Hubbell family, the history of trade in the region, Navajo culture, and the importance of sheep and weaving to the Navajo people.
Hubbell Trading Post is operated by Western National Parks Association, a nonprofit education partner of the National Park Service.
