I've been visiting Great Clips for close to a decade and this Fountain Hills Branch for a few months.
I've enjoyed the people, the atmosphere and the haircuts.
I debated on leaving a bad review, until I noticed that another customer had the same exact experience as I had with Julie.
I came in and asked for a "2" to be used "all around, on the sides and the back" of my hair, which are also in the salon notes.
Before I realized it, half of my hair on the top was gone!
I freaked out and said, we don't use a 2 on the top! And said to just leave what was left. An onlooking stylist made a comment, thinking she was being funny. But, I wasn't amused.
But, it was too late.
I walked out with most of my hair gone.
I'm still furious, a day later.

My second and last tike here. Unfortunately, I'm not so happy with the results.
Went to get some layers done in my hair, and the result is bad. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow a bit so I can get it fixed.

I have been using Great Clips for 6-8 months now. Each visit to their locations in Minneapolis and Fountain Hills AZ I’ve had a different lady cut my hair: I always leave 100% satisfied with the same cut as always! And their pricing is unbeatable. After 30+years with my previous barber where I always had to keep an eye on what he was doing, Great Clips is is a refreshing and positive change!

Allie at the fountain hills great clips has really earned my respect the last two times I went to see her. I never know exactly how to explain to a stylist what I’m looking for but she does a great job of listening and double checking every step of the way through my hair cut to make sure it’s what I want. She trimmed my eyebrows which I never had done before and they look great. overall Allie is very focused and great at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone. This location gets you in very quickly and the whole staff is a pleasure to be around.

Allie gave me the BEST experience, customer service, and haircut! Not only did she give me the haircut I asked, she modified it to fit my face shape and personality perfectly. Will definitely be back when I need a trim!

Honestly, I was a little skeptical about coming here after reading the reviews. In reading the reviews, however, Allie‘s name came up as being a great hairstylist. When I went in, I asked for her, I was so happy I did. She was patient, respectful and comfortable with cutting my hair. She did an awesome job and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend her.

I had my hair cut here yesterday and it is the worst haircut I have ever had. I called back today to see if I could go to one of the other locations that might be owned by the same franchisee and get it done properly and I was told no. I was told the owner was John but that's it. I was just passing through and don't live there and was told I could come back there and get it fixed up but that is almost an hour drive for me to go get it done and I don't want the same person redoing it anyway. I have had my haircut at great clips all over North America for years. Not once have I had a bad haircut until yesterday.

I mistakenly visited the Fountain Hills Great Clips last week because the sides of my hair were looking unkempt around the ears. I asked for "zero on the sides and back, very little off the top, and blend the rest" before adding "in the mornings, it's becoming a little too obvious how I slept the night before." By the time I realized how much my stylist Julie had taken off the top, it was too late, and I walked out with a buzz cut. After 20 years of visiting Great Clips locations all over the US with hit or miss results, I think it's time to stick strictly to barbers for now on.

My husband walked in, took a seat and got a GREAT haircut by Lauren in under 30 minutes. Job well done and now his go to spot in Fountain Hills.
