“We were in Dollar General today. Thursday Feb.8th. We self scanned our products. The woman in charge was fixing one of the self scanning machines. We came home to realize we forgot a bag. We went back and not only did she have our package saved for us, she placed the cold products in the cooler not to go bad. That was far and beyond the call of her duty. Thank you very much for hiring such a great individual. We will be going back because of her service. You don't find empolees like her anymore.”
“Convenient neighborhood store with great prices and selection. It is located in a low income area and can feel intimidating. However, I shop here often and have not had a problem with crime. The staff do a good job at this location.”

“I want to start by saying that I’m not mad about it. I come to this store semi often, usually at night and the night team is always so nice, helpful and friendly. Hence the 5 stars, because I won’t base one experience on my overall review. I came in the morning which I usually don’t do. I had a bad not terrible experience with a cashier named Annetta. She was really nice to the person in front of me. When I came up her whole attitude changed, I grabbed the dividing stick to separate the purchases and she snatched it away and said just leave it. I apologized, It was my turn next, she didn’t say anything to me so I said hello nicely to cut the awkward silence and was ignored for the rest of our interaction. It’s a customer service job, just be nice. Fake it if you have to that’s what I do or at least be rude to everyone equally lol But night crew, you guys are the MVPs of that store ❤️”
“I love my neighborhood Family Dollar for picking up needed items quickly. They are usually well-stocked and almost always have what I'm looking for. Staff at location on Hancock is super friendly!”
“Nice staff, obviously cheap prices. Worth a visit as some items are cheaper than you expect. Yes some items are smaller than you normally get in a large store but most work out just fine.”

“The employees there are always so helpful. There is a community full of older folks that sits right behind the store and everyone there is always patient and kind when dealing with the geriatric generations that frequent there. The manager, Brian, must be doing something right and Dollar General as a whole company could certainly learn a thing or two from the folks at the store on Joy Ln in Fort Mohave, AZ.”
