I called in and they stayed open so I could purchase my husqvarna parts!! They were super helpful and had all I needed for my husqvarna chainsaw. I did not know that they were an authorized husqvarna dealer. Make sure to go to the store across cracker barrel. Lol, I made that mistake. That store has all the husqvarna parts you need. And if they don't have it they will order it for you. Highly recommend these guys, so helpful and awesome customer service!

Went to have propane refilled, saw their price which was the lowest I have seen in awhile. The guy pumped three gallons and said the price was $16 not nine dollars which it should have been at $2.99/gallon. It was THEN he said there was a five gallon minimum (which a barbeque tank wouldn't even hold). Total rip off, skam be warned.

Came in the day before asked what I needed to rent a deck sander. Was told a credit and my I.D. cilent put his credit card up and reserved a deck sander.
Came in with my ID after driving 60 miles to pick up the deck sander. To have them refuse me cause they want 2 forms of ID. Which they didn't tell me the day before. When I tried to explain I wasn't told that and just drove 60 miles. They didn't care. Very unprofessional.

Don't waste your time. We rented a lift from this company 2x and both times their equipment needed to be returned. The first lift we rented was leaking hydraulic fluid (at the jobsite) which we needed to clean and our guy got stuck with the lift in the air. Finally, we were able to get it down. The 2nd time we rented a lift (about a month later) the controls in the bucket would not work. We should've known when the mechanic stated they have repaired this lift 6 times. We called to let them know we would be returning, however, they wouldn't refund the charge. Apparently, we were supposed to stop everything that day and return it to them right after we spoke with them. They used to be Total Grand Rental. They have no pride in their work or business. Go elsewhere. Their pricing may be good, but how much is your time worth?

I received absolutely awful service this week at this place. I rented a machine and as soon as it was plugged in, it was clearly broken. I called the store I had just left and they confirmed that machine breaks frequently. It was exchanged for another machine that wasn’t appropriate for the job. That machine was exchanged for one that broke down before the remaining days it was reserved for was up. I approached ownership and requested a partial refund and was told that one full day wouldn’t be charged. As soon as I hung up the phone, they made an unauthorized charge to my credit card. I immediately called again and was told that the 3rd machine was more expensive than the one detailed on my signed invoice. The owner was openly hostile and clearly a crook. He’s obviously had a lot of experience taking advantage of people as he attempted to gaslight me and insist I should understand unspoken, unwritten and unexplained details. I would bet money that I’m not the only person he’s done this to. Do not rent from this company!! Do not give anyone at this company any of your banking info for any reason!!

This place does not deserve the single star rating. Over the course of 3 days they rented out 3 machines to me. The first was broken and when I called and let them know, they confirmed that specific machine breaks frequently and I need to load up a 150 pound machine and bring it back to them for exchange. The broken machine was exchanged for a machine that was not proper for the job so another exchange was made and that machine broke before the 3 day rental contract had expired. When ownership was approached to resolve this issue, I was told that I should know without being told that all machines require daily maintenance at the rental shop. Ownership was hostile, angry and yelling at me and refusing to "talk about the past." I demanded at least a partial refund of my money and was told after much grumbling that I would be credited one day. I agreed to that and then another charge from this company was applied to my card without my consent. I called again and ownership told me that the third machine that was rented is much more expensive than the original machine that was noted on my original signed invoice. I am absolutely outraged by this swindler! This business is ran by a foul tempered crook!! Do not give them your credit card info or rent out any of their broken down machinery.

I've been renting equipment from TGR for 13 years and have always had excellent service. The equipment has consistently been in good repair, customer service has always been good and their prices are the best in town. However, I had a situation this week where a breakdown in communication cost me $400 more than I expected. This probably happened because I switched equipment type and rental duration midstream and was accidentally quoted the wrong weekly rate. Although I wasn't happy with the way the manager, Brian, handled the situation, I'm not one to let one bad experience overshadow 13 years if good experiences. My only real complaint is that the manager failed to accept any responsibility for the miscommunication and I had to bear the full brunt of the error. Nevertheless, as far as I'm concerned, TGR is still the best choice for rental equipment in Flagstaff.
