Josiah and Hannah are just stellar! This staff is so kind and efficient. My son is only 5 and they helped me find the perfect boots! Josiah is amazing with kids. And middle Hannah helped me with recommendations of binding angles. So knowledgeable and kind. This is why we always rent here and my favorite place for rentals.

Hidden gem in flagstaff for all of your skiing / snowboarding rental needs. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful each time we've rented there. Rental returns were a breeze last time we visited onTuesday in March for some spring skiing.

Many great reviews about this place and we followed them for ski equipment needs. Some of the staff are not the friendliest! They almost make you feel unwelcome if you are a rookie/beginner skier! One of the attendants who helped with the gear suddenly changed his attitude as soon as he realized there were some in our group who had an accent!!! That was very obvious and very low! I think the place is well equipped with gear, but the staff could use a little training on how to be customer centric and not ski snobs. After all there are multiple places around town who have similar services and stores are as well equipped.

Incredible customer service! Last week my daughter and I were renting skis, poles, boots and helmets the afternoon before the day we were skiing (I like that you can get them the day before so you don't have to take the time in the morning, by the way), and I was getting my wallet out to pay and the staffer just said "No, don't worry about this. This took way too long and that's not acceptable -- it's on us." Wow, incredible! The next day the return process was super simple, and they had tables and bins set up outside. I highly recommend renting from here. Last year we rented from Snowbowl and it took us TWO HOURS to get on the slopes by the time we stood in line for our rentals and more. This year we had everything with us and it was so much simpler.

Great staff, great experience. Make sure to plan for the potential wait time and tight parking. We got there pretty early and it was packed. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait too long and entertained ourselves by looking at all the cool gear in the shop. Would recommend renting here, especially over renting at the Snowbowl.

Best ski shop in Flag!! Everyone is so helpful and makes you feel welcome, which I can't say the same for most other ski shops I've been to. All the employees are knowledgeable and I have never felt pressured to buy or increase my budget, again like other shops. This is the only place you need to go! Shop local!

Friendly, professional, understanding & super knowledgeable. We walked in and were helped right away. We were apart of the Snow bowl fiasco with heavy traffic during heavy snowfall, where the city bus slipped and couldn't get us down the mountain to return our ski rentals in time. Randa (not totally sure that is her name) was proactive in calling us to let us know they would be open late and wouldn't charge an additional day for return by 9am the next day. We were't able to return our rentals until 11am the next day due to overnight snowfall and poor road conditions and they still didn't charge us. Epic experience with outstanding staff. We really appreciate their understanding and flexibility with us. Send it!

Wow, I can't say enough good things about this place. I never take the time to put reviews on yelp, but this place is just splendid and deserves it. The staff really know their stuff and welcome you into the chill shop with an impressive selection of skis of any budget. I brought my rock skis in for a fix-up and they said it would be more than I should spend on old skis. So I left them to just get a basic wax for $20. Much to my surprise, I came back and they had completely fixed the bottoms!! No extra charge!! Although they probably won't do this for everyone who walks into the shop, this deed just reflects the magic of a small town ski shop! I thought the days were gone where you could exchange a wax for a sixpack of beers, but this place keeps that dream alive :). Thank you thank you thank you!

When we need waxing or ski gear we stop in here - like new helmets we just bought. They are knowledgeable about their products and don't oversell. The guys are always so helpful and kind. We always recommended them to our family and friends that ski. The owners are super supportive of their community and support our foundation each year. They always greet us with a smile and listen. Our friends that we have referred there say they same, nice customer service. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Unfortunately I am unable to leave less than 1 star. When doing business with a company I always try to choose the company with those with people that are respectful and genuine. I will never rent from this company again. We had a great experience when picking up our equipment (with the exception of someone else's hot packs still in our boots showing they obviously do not disinfect according to another bad review on here). When we left Snowbowl, we did not realize our girls had left their skis up there on the rack. We were traveling with our 4 kids and family from out of town that were new to Snowbowl. We also got dumped on during a winter storm. When we returned to Ski Haus we explained what had happened and that we were heading back up to Snowbowl now to get them. The lady at returns was very kind and told us to let the guys inside know. We went inside, explained to one gentleman the situation, and Josiah (I believe a manager) jumped in. He was very arrogant, asking us why we just decided to not bring them back and saying we were disrespecting them by forgetting the skis. He told us he would have to charge us $1000 ($500/ski set) until we returned with them. He even threw out "I can legally charge you for them now and not return your money". After negotiating he reluctantly accepted taking our ID and card number, and charging us another day to return them before they opened. He explained we wouldn't be able to get the skis as someone else would have picked them up. Well, we drove back to Snowbowl, found them where we left them, and called Josiah to let him know we had them and would be there when they opened their doors the following morning since they had already closed at 6pm. When we returned, a different manager was working and we asked if we would be charged since they can turn around and rent them that day. He was equally as arrogant and rude as Josiah and replied with "we opened at 7". We explained it was currently 7:03. He came back with "we have to disinfect it and let it sit for 8 hours". Really? We picked them up with the last persons hot packs still in them. Disgusting! It is one thing to do business with a company and everything goes right. It's when something doesn't go as planned that you see how they actually treat their customers. As an ICU nurse, I could never see treating a family like this! It showed they are not at all worried about customer service (or even being decent humans), and are much more worried about the money and trying to throw around their weight when they can.

The guys are Ski Haus are world-class when it comes to customer care and service. Not only do I always rent my skis from them, but last month my car broke down in their parking lot during returns hour (busy!) and it was as if the whole shop pitched in to help us. They care. They are personable. They are helpful in all sorts of ways. I will never rent my ski equipment from anywhere else! I appreciate them!
