I wish the hot water situation would be better. There’s always at least one broken shower. The disability shower is almost always out of compliance. The shower head breaks off and has to be used by holding it. As someone with one hand this is pretty impossible. Other than the shower the place is always pretty clean and the employees are friendly. I don’t use anything but the shower here…

This is the first PF that asked me to provide a photo ID to visit since I was out of state. I had to walk back to my car to get my wallet for this new requirement.The manager asked me if I had a *problem* with that practice and I told him yes since I felt singled out as others were not identified as they checked in. I also told him that dozens of other gyms never asked for ID.The manager did not care and told me that other gyms were not "doing it right". And this was for "my safety. " What a classic response whenever additional inconviences are forced onto customers.I even stated that most folks like myself applied for membership online and that there is no photo section or mention for a photo in the application or profile.He literally walked away and told me "fine" when I told him that I felt uncomfortable since this has never happened.This was such poor management engagement that clearly set an unfriendly and unwelcoming environment.Who would want to visit this gym after that type of response from a manager?This manager clearly feels that he runs this gym correctly unlike the nationwide of PF gyms and I was the one with the *problem*.UPDATE TO REPLY: The manager at this "private establishment" was confrontational and I find it deeply concerning how he felt that he must be the only Planet Fitness that does things right compared to the entire Planet Fitness franchise.Your reply is completely pointless, after the fact now that I have long left the area. There is NO need for me to speak with another manager that I'm comfortable to speak to (aka NOT you).I have traveled East to West coast to coast multiple times and I can confidently say that this Flagstaff AZ is the only Planet Fitness that has ID'd me and was confrontational. I've never had an employee call out my name and tell me to go to my state to get things fixed. I have never had a manager approach me wanting to know what my *problem* was and then tell me that everyone else is *doing it wrong* and was *fine* that I wasn't comfortable.I have been welcomed to every other Planet Fitness across many states and cities by employees and managers. No ID checks, no confrontation, and no egotistical managers. No where does the Planet Fitness application or App state that I could be ID'd.I have visited enough Planet Fitness across this nation to state confidently that the Flagstaff AZ Planet Fitness is the clear outlier and I hope someone from corporate reads this review.Pointing out that you're a *private establishment* is just another way to say we can do whatever we want. Your justification keeps changing on why you wanted to ID me...it was for my *security* to preventing *fraud*. You changed your egotistical response from its *policy* to that you're a *private establishment*.I joined a gym, not a security/policy company.Since you wanted me give me advise....its my turn. Put up a banner on the front your gym that states, "Private Establishment...we ID here." Give visiting black card members a warning before they have the unfortunate experience of stepping into your *private establishment*.Also, remove any Planet Fitness mission statement signs in your gym that mentioned that *everyone is welcomed* and should be *comfortable* at these gyms. Remove any "Leave your ego" at the door signs. Finally, have Planet Fitness corporate hire you as their Chief Security Officer since you clearly have a pulse on gym security....doubt they would consider you.Nice closing statement since you and I don't get along. One would easily see such a statement as being sarcastic and inappropriate to your pointless response, "thank you and have a wonderful day".I had a good day the minutes I drove away with the Flagstaff AZ Planet Fitness gym in my rear view mirror. Never again.What an egoistical clown at the Flagstaff gym. I feel sorry for its employees and members that don't realize how that gym operates compared to the entire nationwide franchise.

Pretty chill place. The staff is nice and chill. The ambience is pretty decent also. Nobody bothers anybody and if anything, are very kind. I wish the gym had a bit more, but it's a small town and it has just whay you need to get a good workout in without the pressure. Most Affordable in town also

Very nice and clean planet fitness in a great location. Good employees who were kind and helpful. All the paper towels and sprays were stocked and they were busy but still had plenty of machines to work on.

Not the worst PF I've visited but definitely needs improvement. Bathroom shower cleanliness could be much better. Also the women's shower with the bench has been out of order for weeks leaving only two available showers neither of which have benches. Plumbing fixtures in other showers are loose as well. It really would not take a ton of work to get everything cleaned and repaired and in good condition yet every time I come in still nothing's fixed.

The Flagstaff location is always clean, the staff are always accessible and friendly. I appreciate them staying at the front entrance where they are easy to find when needed. I tend to show up at different times throughout the week and overall, the bathrooms are clean and paper towel holders are well stocked.

Mens showers have been closed for way too long. I haven't been able to work out there in over a month because I live too far to go back home and take a shower before work.I'm getting sick of the apologies. They mean nothing when the dates get pushed back multiple times. That's what you get when you hire an inept plumber. Cheaper is not better.

Planet fitness is a great deal but you have to keep an eye on them. If you change membership status, make sure you check all charges. If you go up to the black card they don’t prorate the monthly charges. Ask for each clubs cancellation requirements. Each club is different all across the nation.

The place is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. I usually go late at night, my only complaint is that there isn't always someone available around the counter for the hydro massage or to purchase a drink from. Occasionally, there is a small wait for someone to come up to the counter to help.

Decent gym with a lot of treadmills and ellipticals that usually aren't very busy. Free weights and benches usually very busy and people waiting. Maybe need more weights and less cardio equipment? Recently had my locker broken into and wallet stolen. Thief used my cards at Walmart to buy maybe gift cards or something. Over 2500.00 in charges and police still haven't made an arrest. A lot of people coming and going just for the showers.

Easy to access, equipment is well maintained, big enough facility that it's never too busy at our location. Showers always hot & locker rooms clean. (Maintenance for out of order amentities happens slowly though.) The price includes everything I need without extras that cost more. I appreciate that, and always find the messaging comforting. "You belong here," and "we provide a tool that anyone can use." Those are great messages to walk into each day.

Not great just based on the men's locker room. The showers are small cubbies with only a flimsy curtain. No where to even hang a towel. It's a very busy location and the locker room was messy. Ive only been in twice but couldn't get a shower either time due to demand and one shower is out of order. Lockers with belongings and no locks, no privacy compared to the other locations I've used. Finally got a shower on 3rd visit, 6 a.m. water went from hot to warm in a couple minutes. Literally 3 guys waiting for the shower when I was finished.

A nice beginners gym for people just starting an exercise program, friendly staff,showers and if you have the black card membership you can get a relaxing massage on one of their massage beds or chairs.Good Luck Dan
