Not beginner friendly or perhaps friendly at all. I went in earlier today to get a night sight installed on my Ruger LCR. A job that I’m sure they would’ve executed with quality and one that I’m now going to attempt myself. I first went to Ruffs where they attempted to do it on the spot for free but didn’t have the right size roll pin punch. I was happy to give my money to a local business but after interacting with the lady at pistol parlor I wasn’t sure of the care that might be provided. I asked general questions on how they would provide the service. She said they would have to keep it overnight and charge 100$ an hour. I was a bit confused so I asked why it would take so much time and money when my understanding being a “10 minute job”. She didn’t like that which is fair so I apologized for coming off rude. I was just ignorant but instead of attempting to educate me or sell me on their service I was told to take my money elsewhere or do the job myself. All businesses reserve the right to refuse service- totally acceptable… but not for this reason I feel. I pushed out of curiosity asking if they might provide the service regardless. She said they would have to “tag it”(referring to my gun). I asked what the terminology “tag” was referring to. She condescendingly replied “that means your gun is going to have a little sleep over” and repeated it rudely. I’m a young novice sure. But that doesn’t illicit treating me like an idiot. If you’re a regular or gun head then maybe this is the place for you. I cannot speak on the quality of their services since I didn’t purchase any. But you’d think someone working in a specialty store might care to inform an uneducated person so they might better their field. The general toxicity of her gave me a feeling of disrespect while leaving the store that I had not felt in some time. Regardless I wish them the best and hope they thrive off the customers they wish to serve.

The political statements about strippers is where I draw the line, show some class for christ sakes. Election is over, concentrate on guns. Unbelievable!!!!

I cannot help give them koodos just based on their "fantastic" radio commercials. The voice personality is perfect!

I have no idea why this guy feels the need to put his political and cultural critiques in his commercials. No one cares. Just sell guns. I won't be spending my money here.

One of the last great gunsmith shops left in the west. A must stop in place for any firearm enthusiast. We stopped in while in Flagstaff for the week. Boy was I blow away not only to check out this establishment but I had the opportunity to hangout and chat for some time with the great Gary Reeder. Getting the chance to chat and hear awesome story’s from one of the best pistol makers in the world, as well as getting some tips and advice was epic. I am sure to come back and visit with Gary when I am back in Flagstaff…

I’ll never drop a dollar in the place, tip to the woman who came on the phone. Leave your miserable life at home.

Went in to check out the place after driving by earlier in the week and saw some great African taxidermy pieces and astounding custom pistols in the front case. Owner is informative and runs a great business.

Interesting thing happened to me today. Did the background check on the Argentine mauser on Friday April 2nd. This gun store called in my application and not to my surprise I got a hold on my mauser till the 7th. Well, I went in today to check the status of the mauser and see if i got a proceed on the rifle Cause, when I left Friday she ( the store owner) asked for my number to give me a call if i get a proceed later that day or week... Well, I drove by the store today to see if there was a status change... You never know... People do forget to call folks. Anyway.... I walked into the store and ask the owner if there was a status change on my rifle.. She told me that they sold the Mauser on Saturday the 3rd... Needless to say... I was bummed out and unaware of this stores policy...
