If I could rate this 0 stars I could. None of the staff was friendly and was INCREDIBLY reluctant to help me. I asked a worker for help and was told, “you didn’t search our cat isle?” I responded with, “yes, but it’s my first time here.” Then was given an attitude, a sigh, and a dragged walk to what I needed. Checking out was the second part, he wasn’t kind or friendly and I felt VERY unwelcome. I didn’t want to make an account and was pressured to. I further explained that I don’t live here and I don’t want to make an account that I will probably use only this once. He still made an account for me after I said no, asked for my info and punched it in the system. And then was rushed out. Poor customer service and an unwelcoming experience.

Their store and animals were in poor shape. Some of their reptiles didn't have water, there were dead fish in their tanks (not freshly deceased, either). It was sad to see.

The ads for this store is an example of false advertising. Even if the signs is obvious to have a discount the cashier will not honor it. Instead the cashier indicated they will remove the sign.It isn’t a customer error but the store should honor their ads!

Petco as an overall corporation has done some great things in trying to be more ethical in its product selection, and I commend them for that. However, this particular location is absolute trash. The customer service is just terrible. If you ever find an employee in the store to help you pay for your items, you should play the lottery, because it's your lucky day. I have waited at the register for someone to notice me there every single time I've been there. A few weeks ago, I had a kid tell me to wait because he had to find someone to help me since he was going to take a break. They've gone so far as to finally place a doorbell for service at the register. Their employees are just rude, period. Today as I was paying for my product, i was talking to the cashier and as soon as my payment was approved, he just walked away from me still in mid sentence. It was just a bit rude. The store is always a mess with shelves not being stocked, bins and boxes of product all over the place that you have to dig through to find what you're looking for, and so many products with no tags on them. With their lack of employee presence, product organization and labeling, I wouldn't be surprised at the amount of product loss they experience.

I was in the other day to buy cat supplies and look at animals, but unfortunately this store is in extreme disarray.The sales floor is unsafe with loose cardboard on the ground and empty pallets which pose a slip/tripping hazard. There was a half empty gallon water bottle in the cat toy section, a screwdriver loosely placed in the shelves, pet food on the ground blocking the aisles, the list goes on. In the already very sad betta fish display there were several dead/decomposing fish as if they are never checked on or even fed. Overall I had a bad experience, and this was a sad display for a company that claims to care about animals.This is a huge turn off and I won't be coming back here.

The employees here are some of the best I’ve ever dealt with. Sidney helped us out today and she was amazing!! She helped us pick out top notch products, gave great advice and even helped us save money in the process. We really appreciated her high level of customer service and attention to detail. Corey has also helped us in the past and was wonderful as well. They always have what I need in stock and I appreciate their knowledge when it comes to the animals. Highly recommend!

It was a fun place to take the dogs & buy their snacks. It was the first time I visited a PetCo, some of the items were decently priced, other items were $2-$3 more than other places I shop. The staff was very helpful & friendly.

I dropped off my doggo at 8:15am, the gentleman who I had first spoke to was great and super sweet. I didn’t get a call to pick her up until 1:35pm, took a bit long considering we were the first ones there with no one else in sight. When I came to get her the man that was there now didn’t seem happy at all, I smiled and tried to be nice and he was very cut to the point here is your dog. Seemed rushed so I wasn’t even able to ask questions. Very rude compared to the first one. After getting into the car and examining her, there are pieces of fir that are still “matted” together but I got home and was able to brush them out. Don’t see why with how much I payed for them to groom her why they couldn’t do a quick little brush through again, especially considering she is a long haired dog. That doesn’t bother me though as much as how dehydrated she was. It seemed like the whole 5 hours she was in their care she had NO water. She drank and drank water for a good 10 minutes after I was able to get her some. I am extremely upset about that. If my dog is in your care I expect you to give them water, how hard could it be? People trust you with their animals and mine didn’t even get some water. It’s upsetting because it then makes me worry what else they didn’t do. I had an appointment for my other dog but now I’m debating canceling it and going somewhere else if I’m going to get charged a price where when I get home I have to finish things they didn’t, and it’s not worth dehydrating another dog over. Completely ridiculous.

I usually have good customer service, but half of the time the staff is too busy to notice that I need help. And today I was put second because somebody decided they needed help before me(even though i asked for help first). In good customer service, you help the first person asking for service and you let the next person know that they will be helped next. FWI...if you are going to provide good customer service, you help people in order

This store is so shockingly disorganized. Many shelves are empty and stacks of boxes, which would stock the shelves, line the aisles instead. Shopping carts are everywhere stuffed with items just waiting to be put away. I thought it was a one time thing when I came in but it has been going on for months now (maybe longer?). I only shop here as its closer to me than petsmart. The disorganization makes it impossible to find anything. There are only a few shopping carts for customers to use as most are used for holding stock in the store. This is a management problem for sure. I gave two stars as they carry the food for my dogs. But I dread going in.

Why is the store so dirty and unorganized. The stock higher in dog foods it's just difficult to spend $80 on a bag of dog food on the place. Looks like it all should be on a Clearance rack for 70% off. Also, this is nothing new. This store has looked like this for at least two years now.

Everyone from the fish experts to the customer service both on the phone, and in person, were fantastic! Upon checking out, they let us know about the return policy on a deceased fish if it happened. I wish there was one closer than 150 miles from us.

Groomer "John" was an absolute nightmare!!! When I picked up my dog, a small Maltese, he told me he couldn't do the dogs face/ head due to the dogs "anxiety". I told him the dog couldn't even see because his bangs were so long and it needed to be trimmed. After he insulted me, calling me a terrible person for letting my dogs hair get so long, I asked for the store manager who had him trim the bangs.. He was such a nasty person and very disrespectful!! I hoped the camera had picked up the diatribe of insults he said to me but the manager said it was only visual..just a warning.

The employees are friendly and helpful. The manager is amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the all product and live animals/fish. My dog has several food allergies. (I always forgetmy glasses) The staff is willing to read the Ingredients for me. Excellent customer service at the Flagstaff store. Thank you, My girl, Cazzie Noodulez and me
