I highly recommend Northland Hospice. When my mother needed end of life care they were so caring and compassionate. The director, nurses and all the staff were so professional and efficient.

Wonderful race at Wheeler Park today put on by Northland Hospice. The route was well marked by Mark, "the marker". I was happy to play a small part of this to help raise funds. Thank Northland Hospice team for all your hard work and taking care of families.

These people are amazing. They walked us through everything, were available when we had questions, always calm, professional and caring. Their help during a difficult time was truly appreciated.

Absolutely wonderful, amazing people, who, from my experience, care deeply about their patients and the work they do. The medical staff appear very experienced, and go about their work with a calm and reassuring professionalism. It's unfortunate when you need a service like hospice, but if you do, I would not hesitate whatsoever to contact Northland Hospice. They made a difficult time so much more bearable.

Absolutely love everyone here. They cared for my grandfather at the end and honestly made a huge impact on my family. The help we received was top notch during care and after he passed. They still check in on my mom to make sure she's doing ok. And they're a nonprofit!

We used Northland Hospice for my ailing Father-in-law. (My wife's best friend)I have nothing but good things to say of the staff and the care they provided for him. They listened to him and his needs to be comfortable. They listened to my family and there concerns. Their professionalism at all times (even in the middle of the night when my Mother-in-law needed a friendly voice to help with him). Their attention to detail, along with a caring compassionate voice helped my entire family in this difficult time.Kathy, Ben and Cindy were the individuals who stand out. I believe that they truly care about the patients and families in their care.I would recommend anyone into their care.

At first things seemed to be going well, but when my grandma began telling stories leaving out key details, the staff began to view my family and I as abusive and neglectful. Instead of listening to us, they took her word. When we tried to explain that we were NOT KEEPING HER FROM EATING, they said "SHE'S our client and we have to take her word". Here's where the problem was: grandma refused to wear her dentures. No teeth, no chew. So yes, we'd take certain foods away BUT WE NEVER KEPT HER EATING. She was a fall and choking risk and there were many times she'd sneak food into her room. She was borderline diabetic and many times it would be sweet stuff that she'd take. Eventually, the staff completely undermined our authority as the family (mind you, I was a care giver and I've been trained in certain medical areas) and told my grandmother that she wasn't safe in our home. She wound up in a home where the care was mediocre at best and she was miserable. She's since been moved into a nicer facility where the care is above all expectations. I wouldn't recommend Northland to anyone. They are manipulative and have no respect for the families of the client.
