We had the unfortunate experience of our vehicle being hit by an uninsured driver, but Max's Body Shop & Collision Center helped this bad situation by keeping the repair part stress-free. They were professional, knowledgeable, and offered top-notch service at an excellent value. The work was done quickly, and the quality of the repair was outstanding. You can tell this shop is local through and through—they really care about their customers. We highly recommend Max and his team for anyone needing body work or collision repair!

Called on Monday to schedule an evaluation and quote. They told me to bring the car in person that afternoon, which I did. None of the workers seemed to know I had an appointment, and were confused why I was there. (For context, my car isn’t wrecked. It’s just old, with extensive rust damage.) Max came and looked at it, and offered to quote me on the spot. I mentioned to him that other shops hadn’t been able to perform the work, as my car has a case of “east coast rust” which makes replacing this specific part more difficult. Max seemed confident he could repair it anyway, but asked me to bring it back two days later to put it on the lift and look at the underside, just in case. That seemed fair. He asked my name (twice), and quickly wrote it on a scratch piece of paper - not an official logbook, computer, or phone calendar. I didn’t receive any kind of appointment confirmation. Fast forward to this morning, when I was running late for the second appointment (my fault). When I called to ask if I should still come in, Max didn’t even seem to remember I had an appointment, finally remembered me when I described a secondary, unrelated cosmetic problem with the car, again offered to quote me without even looking at the problem spot on the vehicle. When I advocated for myself, and asked him to actually see the vehicle to make sure he could perform the work, he asked me to come back during my work hours this afternoon, or next week. Called a different body shop and they were able to fit me in immediately. I’m sure the work Max does is great. I just personally had a really hard time getting my vehicle seen. I use my car 24/7 for work (as many people do), and have a very tight schedule, so I need accurate information and time estimates.

Colton was great in delivering a quick estimate and on time with the work promised. He prioritized my vehicle due to not having a rental. Maxs body shop has worked on my other vehicles too and always do great work. Great family business!

I was well treated by both father and son. Received what I felt was a fair price for painting my Dodge truck. It is in the shop right now being painted.

The best experience ever. Max and Colten were so so kind and helpful! Max was so willing to work with me to take care of my car (my bumper came off) while helping me to get the cheapest price possible. They went out of their way to help me, knowing how expensive things are and realizing that I’m in college! And they were so generous! My car now looks amazing and was so affordable! They really did go the extra mile for me! I cannot say an enough good things about them and would will definitely be going to them again in the future! I can’t recommend them enough, if you are trying to find somewhere that is amazing quality, great pricing, and that actually cares, definitely go to Max’s!!!

Best shop in Flagstaff, these guys do things the right way and helped me fix up my mom’s car on a time constraint. Got the job done efficiently and went above and beyond, if I run into any problems or anyone I know needs a recommendation I will be pointing them in Max and Colton’s direction. Great family and very grateful for their help.

I had a phenomenal experience! The guys were great and super helpful. I had to get my bumper and clips replaced. Dropped it off Monday at 11am and it was done Wednesday 3pm. It looks great and the paint job is perfect.
