Caveat Emptor!Cost was outrageous. Attempted to charge additional fees even more than the rental cost! We needed a car to drive to the Grand Canyon Airport (211 miles) and return. We were travelling in a big rig 40' RV, which was less than ideal for a short trip such as this. Flagstaff Rental Car agreed to pick us up at our campsite and drive us to the dealer to sign the rental agreement. Not bad. We were willing to pay a reasonable amount for the rental and service. However, we were not expecting it to cost $143.00 plus gas to rent a car for less than 12 hours and a couple of hundred miles! But we were now at their mercy, we already booked a helicopter tour of the canyon (Incredible and worth every penny) and had no time to spare, so we simply had no choice. After our fantastic tour of the Grand Canyon, we returned to our campground and filled the gas literally across the street from the campground. We left the key with the KOA manager this was pre-arranged (for an additional fee) and got back on the road. When we got home we had an additional charge of $150.00 from Flagstaff Rental Car. I called and talked to the manager (Brad) and he told me that this was for "significant marijuana smell" in the car. Sorry NO! I do not and never have smoked anything, much less marijuana! After some (heated) discussion they agreed that we did NOT smoke in the vehicle and they removed the charge. I am a President's circle member of Hertz and could have rented a car for a week for the cost of this rental, with none of this hassle.Caveat Emptor - Let the Buyer Beware! Forewarned is to be forearmed.

I left my truck with Flagstaff Chevrolet for a factory recall for a week. I had it back for two weeks and the service light came on for the recall they allegedly completed. Not what you expect from a dealership. I took it to a provider in Phoenix for proper repair.

Honestly -worst auto repair experience I can remember. in the middle of a vacation we stopped to get our AC fixed. Your tech diagnosed a broken AC vacuum line. Mike told us the part would be in Thurs PM or Fri and we would get it done. I called on Thursday - the part was not in. I called Friday at noon - the part had arrived at 10 am - but MIke was gone - and out of sight - out of mind - we'd been dropped. The tech reported the he could get part of the job done on Friday but it would have to wait until Monday - so we were stuck spending our vacation in Flagstaff for another 3 days. We called about 8 am on Monday - Mike didn't know the part had come in. Since we had been held up - spending our vacation time in Flagstaff waiting for Flagstaff Chevrolet to get its act together - we assumed - stupidly it turned out - that we would get some priority with this repair. We didn't - despite my telling MIke we we were checking out of our hotel and had to get on the road - THE VAN WAS THE LAST CAR THAT DAY THE TECH WORKED ON. Throughout this experience, Mike was unapologetic and never acknowledged our situation. Instead, he stated we have 6 techs serving 500 cars and that cars had been waiting for months to get worked on. The tech finished the 4-hour job in about 2 hours and we spent another night at the hotel. It didn't help that for us - the air conditioner actually left the facility in worse shape than it arrived! We had some airflow going in and absolutely none leaving - even the non-AC airflow is absolutely dead. It was not like that before. We'd had the air conditioner checked out in Sedona before coming up. The very detailed examination from that shop - which was shown to MIke - stated the vacuum line was broken and that the "internal valving" of the compressor had been compromised. At Flagstaff Chevrolet we got a bill for $600 (and a still useless air conditioner) and a notice that we needed yes, a $1300 compressor. A total waste of money and 4 days of vacation time. In decades of going to auto repair shops - worst experience ever. We won't be back.

I don't recommend this business to anyone, there service department is a waste of time, they don't have technicians available to do the work, all is done is that they clear the code and send you on your way, service manager never touches base with you about the complaints and the service preformed. Never doing business with this place again, disappointed.

Steve in the service department has been great during the pandemic, and even before that. Even with the shortage in parts due to supply issues, he's always been able to take care of any repairs needing to be done to my vehicle. He's great about keeping me updated & informed on the status of repairs and any delays which is great too. I've been coming here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else based on my experience with the owner & service department. I recommend taking your vehicle here for service needs, or if you're shopping around for a new vehicle. They always have a great selection of new and pre-owned vehicles to fit every budget. Please be patient with wait times, as they are busy like every other shop in town. They do their best to get everything handled efficiently and quickly for you. 5 stars!

The worst dealership ever. I have purchased 9 vehicles since 2009. I have had declining service satisfaction since the old owner sold. The service team turned my chrome wheels inside out on a tire rotation, failed to perform requested services. This last service I asked for warranty work to be completed on my block heater, he said chevy says to rip it out! I got an oil change and was told my oil pan is leaking and I would have to schedule a time to fix this. My coolant warning keeps telling me it's low. I would need to schedule a service for that too. So today I got a 100$oil change the bill accounted for 50$ in oil, 18 $ for filter, 2$ oil fee, how does this add to 100$?Thanks for nothing clowns. You have lost my business. One day 6ou are going to screw yourself right out of business. Hopefully soon!!Terry Marxen Flagstaff Chevrolet is a cautionary tale. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, I will certainly. When I purchase my next new truck it will not be there.

1 star because there isn't an option for 0. Dishonest, deceptive and inability to think outside the box is my perception of the service department. If you don't need or use your vehicle you may not have this problem. No it's not because I'm impatient. It's because we were not given a time frame except that parts take 30 days to arrive after they cab locate the part.
