I had the best experience with this company. I came in on Amtrak they had my car waiting. Then my car was a little too small with my family. They meet us on a Saturday stayed a little late to accommodate me. Made everything so easy. Best car rental I’ve ever worked with. Thanks so much.

I was very impressed with the services by the car rental owner, Brad. The convenient two locations, one in Flagstaff and one near the Phoenix airport , make our Arizona trip very pleasant. Brad's caring and detailed instructions you can not find from larger rental places. When his employee was not available to drop us to the airport, Brad, the owner of the business, worked till 8:00pm to drop us off himself on a Saturday night. I am very impressed and warmed by his kindness.1/2/2024

Caveat Emptor!Cost was outrageous. Attempted to charge additional fees even more than the rental cost! We needed a car to drive to the Grand Canyon Airport (211 miles) and return. We were travelling in a big rig 40' RV, which was less than ideal for a short trip such as this. Flagstaff Rental Car agreed to pick us up at our campsite and drive us to the dealer to sign the rental agreement. Not bad. We were willing to pay a reasonable amount for the rental and service. However, we were not expecting it to cost $143.00 plus gas to rent a car for less than 12 hours and a couple of hundred miles! But we were now at their mercy, we already booked a helicopter tour of the canyon (Incredible and worth every penny) and had no time to spare, so we simply had no choice. After our fantastic tour of the Grand Canyon, we returned to our campground and filled the gas literally across the street from the campground. We left the key with the KOA manager this was pre-arranged (for an additional fee) and got back on the road. When we got home we had an additional charge of $150.00 from Flagstaff Rental Car. I called and talked to the manager (Brad) and he told me that this was for "significant marijuana smell" in the car. Sorry NO! I do not and never have smoked anything, much less marijuana! After some (heated) discussion they agreed that we did NOT smoke in the vehicle and they removed the charge. I am a President's circle member of Hertz and could have rented a car for a week for the cost of this rental, with none of this hassle.Caveat Emptor - Let the Buyer Beware! Forewarned is to be forearmed.

I've rented their largest passenger van a few times over the last two years. They've always been very accommodating, responsive to phone calls, and willing to let someone else pick up/return the car on my behalf. My only reason for knocking off a star is that they don't allow after hours returns and they're closed on Sundays, both of which make returning a Saturday rental difficult without incurring an extra day charge.

I rented 3 passenger vans from three different companies for my wedding. At the other two companies, everything went smoothly. At Flagstaff Rental Car, despite being quoted the highest price of the three, it was a nightmare, and then I was charged more than 3x what I was quoted.I went into the the physical office to make my reservation, and talked through the reservation with one of their staff. They seem to operate strictly on paper records. I asked for a confirmation of the reservation, and the employee hand wrote the information about the reservation on one of their business cards. The reservation was a one day reservation starting on Saturday, to be returned on Sunday.Fast forward, one my friends went to pick up the van on that Saturday, and they said there are actually no returns on Sundays. No after hour returns, either. So, we'd need to return it on Monday. Meanwhile, I was leaving for my honeymoon and the driver was also going out of town. I found someone else to return the van on Monday, and then I got billed for 3 days plus gas at $15.25/gallon. Apparently, the third day charge was for additional 3 hours because the person we found to return it wasn't there first thing in the morning.I went back in to ask if we could work some sort of compromise because their employee gave me incorrect information. They said I had to speak with the manager, and he wasn't in. So, I called back and spoke to the manager, Brad.Brad didn't listen to me at all and told me a story about an, "elderly gentleman" who didn't care about the fuel charges when he returned it, even though it was a woman who returned our vehicle.I am glad there are enough other options in town that I will never have to return to Flagstaff Rental Car.

I left my truck with Flagstaff Chevrolet for a factory recall for a week. I had it back for two weeks and the service light came on for the recall they allegedly completed. Not what you expect from a dealership. I took it to a provider in Phoenix for proper repair.

Car broke down on the reservation, wasn't able to receive assistance, barely made it back to Flagstaff. Filled up the vehicle before entering Flagstaff but wasn't able to top off the vehicle (hence it was barely able to drive) once I got into town, tried to charge me $100+ for not topping off the vehicle. Owner yelled at me over the phone was I asked for compensation. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Worst experience ever! They gave us a car with BALD tires! Then yelled at me when I brought it up saying I’m responsible. We couldn’t even use the car because of the tires. And still charged me for the two days- UNBELIEVABLE!!

I went to enterprise to get a car. I had a reservation online and when I got there there was nothing for me. I called Flagstaff rental And they came and pick me up from enterprise and got me a vehicle right away.

Please everyone don’t rent this place they have one men and he had lots off nasty rude I took a car from one day to going phoenix and they charge me 500$ dolor before that said per day 88$ please guys stay alert this compnay

I had an Excellent Experience, Rules and Regulations were upfront and straight forward. My Vehicle was clean and Very Reliable. The Staff entirely were Awesome! I definitely recommend if your in a squeeze and need a car asap.
