We were traveling across country towing our boat, when we had a code come up on the dash. It was Friday around 11a.m. we called the Ford Dealer and Auto shops and no one was able to help us or get us in for a week. We were certain we were doomed. But thankfully we called Flagstaff Auto Repair and Jeannie answered the phone. I explained our situation and she said absolutely come on in and we will get it looked at and see what we can do. After a huge sigh of relief we showed up and she met us out front. Before we went inside Alex, the owner came out. He ran his diagnostic test we all went inside and he diagnosed the problem. With a call to the Ford dealer to get a part it was all going to be okay. Alex personally drove us over to a quaint restaurant so we could grab a bite to eat and while we were gone our truck was fixed. Alex and Jeannie were so accommodating and wonderful. If I lived in the area, I would give them all of my business.

I was up from the valley and had my alternator go out just as I arrived in Flagstaff for a wedding. I shopped around and none of the repair shops were available for at least a week. One shop was kind enough to recommend Flagstaff Auto Repair, so I gave them a call. I explained my situation and they worked me in as a walk-in. The woman I spoke with on the phone was super nice and even more helpful when I arrived in person. The mechanic explained everything they would do and I later learned he was also the owner. It's nice to work with humble, kind, caring people who know how to get the job done right. Their text system kept me up to speed with what they diagnosed, the necessary repair work, and the cost (which was reasonable). They actually had me on my way within two hours with a new alternator instead of a rebuilt one this time. I couldn't have been more blessed by these folks.

Thought it was a good shop. They did a brake inspection and didn't fix the issue I came in for. After I left my car still had the wobbles when applying the brakes. The inspection said it was okay. Still have wobbles in my car. Going somewhere else to get it fixed
Don't trust this places inspection of brakes. They don't even test drive to check the issue. Nice people though, but don't trust the inspection. Wasted 50$. They fixed the other issues I had. But the brakes were ignored even when I yold them there was wobbles when applying the brakes.

We were on our way to Minnesota from Phoenix on a Thursday morning when I pulled into I 40 my AC started blowing warm and the temp gauge was reading cold. I called Flagstaff Auto Repair and he told me to bring it in and they would squeeze me in and take a look at it. I couldn't have found a better shop to bring it to! They have a nice waiting area, clean and pleasant. They diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and had us back on the road in under 3 hours! The rest of the trip went perfect and we had no issues. I highly recommend Flagstaff Auto Repair. Very friendly, honest and efficient. They went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Thank you Flagstaff Auto Repair!

Flagstaff Auto Repair took care of me when I was in a tough spot in my Subaru Crosstrek. As a younger woman who knows very little about cars, I always feel like I'm at a huge risk of being overcharged or otherwise taken advantage of. But these guys were so respectful and kind! Above all, they were reasonable and honest, and they helped me get back on the road safely. THANK YOU!!

We were from out of town and had driven across the country. We had concerns about our brakes in the mountains. This shop got us in same day, did a full inspection, assured us our brakes were fine and safe to continue our trip. These guys were knowledgeable, quick, honest and the price was extremely competitive. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring a vehicle here if I lived in the area.

brought my 2022 Subaru ascent in for regular service last month , and am so impressed. the shop is clean, good people and the owner personally greeted me as I came in , as he was in the lobby. being a first time customer , I was not sure. but that changed in minutes. they go above and beyond to make you comfortable. free wifi , a waiting room, and letting me know the entire process. this is what customer service and making you feel good is. thank you to the entire staff.

Alex was awesome!!! Broke done on a trip to work out of state…Time was imperative…even though it was after 3 pm and they close at 5 pm Alex assured me that I would get back on the road that same day…I had called 8 other shops that told me no way I was getting it fixed same day. But Alex went above and beyond to help me out….Would recommend to everyone!!!!!!

Great expertise, friendly service and attention to detail. Highly recommend.
My partner and I got stuck in a sticky situation in the middle of our road trip across the country with what turned out to be a stuck vent valve causing us to breathe in toxic fumes and making us sick. With only an hour’s notice, Alex and Matt were able to fit us in the same day, diagnose and fix the issue and get us back on the road and to our hotel in Sedona for the night. We’re back on the road today with zero troubles and only an hour delay in our drive.

If I could give this shop 10 stars I would. Broke a CV axle on I-40 in the middle of nowhere and the middle of the night. Other shops couldn’t even LOOK at the car until late Friday, maybe early Monday. These guys got us in, fixed, and on our way to CA in 3 hours. Best repair shop ever.

I called in a panic from the valley with my daughter in Flagstaff stuck in the side of the road. One call to Alex at Flagstaff Auto Repair and he got her right in. Within two hours he diagnosed the issue, test drove it to make sure the issue was resolved, and called me with great news. The repair was minor, but he checked out everything it could have been to put my mind at ease too. Thank you Alex for getting my daughter back on the road. I’m one happy mom and customer. I told my girls if they ever have an issue with the car again, this is their shop!

Went in to get car checked before a big road trip and fix a windshield wiper. I had been waiting a bit longer than I anticipated because they needed to fix something with my brakes, which I didn’t mind waiting too badly, but the owner Alex went out of his way to offer me a ride home and back to the shop once the car was ready, as I had no other ride available. Everyone here was so kind and thanks to the ride I was able to go home and nap/ relax a bit! One of the nicest auto repair experiences I’ve had!
