Was charged $3000 for renting for 3 weeks Budget Corporate was charging me and the locally-owned rental was also charging me so I was double charged and now no one wants to make corrections and reimburse me for the over charged payments.

The first car we received wasn't maintenance, no heater, and the key controller didn't work properly.We had to drive an hour to return it and was given an update to accommodate us. The next car was worth the reservations. We will use them again at the Flagstaff Airport in Az.

Rental experience at airport was fine except that I was told that the car only had 3/4th of a tank of gas, and to return it that way. Exactly how does one go about doing that? It required more detailed planning than I was willing to give it; better to just fill the tank. They should have offered to compensate me for the extra quarter of a tank.

Upon arriving to the Flagstaff airport the Budget counter was closed, even though I was assured the week previously by the rental counter that they would wait for the flight to arrive. The rental was prepaid to include this day. No money was credited for this day without a vehicle, even though staff assured me that it would be credited. Very poor customer service.

I reserved a Kia SUV in July for my trip in September. My travel companion is disabled and needed the height for her bones. When I arrived all Budget had was a 4 door sedan car. I expressed my unhappiness in having a sedan and they just looked at me and asked if I wanted the car or not. The only other option was a smaller vehicle. My friend was in more pain than normal for having to get low to get in and out of the car.

First they gave me a car that Horn didn't workBackup cam didn't work"Engine/oil service light" was onTire kept going flat as tpms light was on They claimed it "just had a little bit of sand in it" and that they "took pictures and noted it so you won't be charged". I have pictures of how I received the car and it was full of sticky substances, sand everywhere, stains, etc Now they're trying to lie and claim I did that mess and owe them $450. This is after jacking my rental rate up 3x the stated amount and charging me $2700+Reporting budget to my bank, bbb etc

Do not do business with this location!!! This is a shady and low class business operation. We had a prepaid reservation and the guy at the customer counter refused to honor the prepaid and tried to add an additional $200 because it was not going to be dropped off at the same location, even though they had messed up the original reservation. Budget is not professional in any way shape or form.

The actual rental car price was excellent. I feel that all the other charges that occurred on my contract were quite heavy handed. Then upon getting my final e-receipt after returning car there was another unexplained charge added to my contract. Had I known the charges were going to be this exuberant ahead of time I would have never considered your company. We haven't rented a car in a long time and I guess this was a learning curve. Just got too excited about the car rental price itself and didn't realize soon enough that the other charges were going to drive the rental price up so much. On top of everything else the car wasn't even clean, go figure! I am wondering is Budget a aximoron for my experience?

We didn't get the car we reserved. We didn't get a clean car. Our car blew a tire on the freeway. We sat on the side of the road for 2 hours waiting for Budget to send someone bec they didn't put the tire key in the car, we couldn't change it. The highway patrolman couldn't change it. No one came for us. I even bought all of their insurance and they still left us there. I lost a whole day of travel due to their lack of concern. It was 101° even after the sun went down. I had to get my own towe. Then they gave me a smaller car and called it an "upgrade." My husband's guitar didn't even fit in the trunk. I will never-ever use Budget again. I won't forget how it felt to be stranded on the side of the road with my husband and puppy.

Budget helped me out in a pickle. When another company failed to be able to provide me with the car they promised, Budget Flagstaff saved the day. Friendly, helpful people.

The worst experience ever. Do not use this company. The car was defective and left me stranded outside the city. I was forced to wait for the tow truck driver and promised a new car but instead of bringing me another car or transporting me to get another they left me stranded 30 min outside the main city. We could not get an uber or lyft in this area. I finally found a taxi that would come get us and had to pay almost a 100.00 to get me to my hotel and I have no rental car and a wasted day of my vacation to show for it. The people we were on the phone with accused me of breaking the car and the last thing she said was "well I've done all I can for you. Call the police to get you" and hung up. Rude and unhelpful and I will be demanding a full refund plus whatbi paid for the taxi.

Conversation opened. 1 read message. I picked up my jeep cherokee from Flagstaff airport on Thursday June 29, 2023. The front right tire had low tire pressure and when I turned the car on the PSI was below normal in the 30's. I went back into the store to alert the Budget people. I was told that the car had just come in from the shop and that it was a new tire. Sometimes the tire pressure monitor does not register the new tire pressure right away. I said OK and drove away. One hour away I was on 17 south and the tire was completely flat. Pressure was down to 2 PSI. I had to pull off onto a service road in the middle of the desert heat. I called roadside assistance. The roadside assistance took so long, I was desperate to find help. LUCKILY, a highway crew was nearby and the foreman came to help. Otherwise my assistance would have been 2 hours in the mid day desert sun.The Budget office gave me a faulty car. I was in a precarious situation in the middle of nowhere - 17 south where it crosses 179. At least 15 miles from any towns. I got a new tire the next day. The time and expense all this took reflects so badly on Budget. I called the Flagstaff airport Budget counter and got a man who had been told about the low tire pressure. He said he would talk to his manager to see if there was something else Budget could do for me.Just got an email that Budget will not pay for the new tire I put on the car. I alerted them. I took the car. I was stuck in the desert for 2 hours. Saved the Day!Our family traveled by Amtrak from Chicago to the Grand Canyon. The train due to take us home was cancelled due to a freight train derailment. Budget got us a Toyota Hghlander on a last-minute request that got our family home on time. Thanks to all the staff at Budget in Flagstaff!
