These guys are awesome!! I was traveling cross country for a family emergency when I broke down in Flagstaff with ALL of my dogs - heat can be scary! when I broke down and stopped in to see what my problem was! These guys fit me in first thing the next morning when I’m sure they were booked and had other cars to get done and had me back on the road in a few hours!! So thankful for this business!!!

If you value your vehicle & your money,DO NOT trust these clowns with repairs. The manager had the tow truck driver drop my car in a towaway zone ,then he called Flagstaff Towing and had the car towed. When I asked the manager where the car was he said he didn't know. Flagstaff Towing ,after taking my 230$ for a 1mile tow,told me that Juan the joke manager called the tow in himself. I agree with the scammer post completely.

This is the place I always take my car in to get repairs because they do great work and are honest and reliable. They are very knowledgeable and always trustworthy. I am very happy with my experience here. They do great work and are friendly. I have an old vehicle and they always say what is essential and what is not essential to get repaired.

Avoid at all costs this guy Juan is a scammer! We got recommended this shop by someone from AutoZone and we got there just when they were closing. He didn't even look at the engine for our transmission leak, telling us "it's leaking" yeah we are well aware and that the repair will be major and we might as well sell our minivan to him for $200 as he quoted us $4000 in repair LOL more than the cost we bought it for. Saying our car was done even when we told him we lived in our vehicle, no compassion or mercy. We were really in shock after we met thinking this was the end for our Windstar. I am glad we were able to get towed this day by a nice guy who took a look and said it was nothing major, casket replacement or something like this. He also mentioned about the reputation of this Juan guy who scammed people telling them their car was over to repair it for cheap and resell it. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. We got in touch with another mechanic recommended by a friend and it cost us only $300 nothing serious.
Go there at your own risk don't wish to anyone what we had to experience.

Juan and his team saved the day for me! I'm 1,800 miles from home, and this morning I was headed to the Grand Canyon for some sight seeing. Started up my truck and during the first stop, I heard some nasty grinding noises. Rats!
So, I googled "Auto Repair Shops near me", and got a long list. I choose Break Masters, and hoped for the best.... I got there at 8:00am, and explained my troubles to the young lady at the desk. She said they would take a look at the truck as soon as they could. 30 minutes later, they had determined that the rear brakes were worn and were causing the grinding noise. The fronts still had 50% of the pad remaining. (To me, it sounded like the grinding was coming from the fronts.)
While I was waiting, 3 or 4 people came in to drop their vehicles (cars, truck, even an RV) off for service. I think nearly all of them said that they had been in before, and they brought their vehicles back because of the great service they had received. I was starting to feel like I made the right choice from my long list of auto repair shops.
Within 2.5 hours, the problem was diagnosed, and I had new rear brakes on my truck. I was back on my way to the Grand Canyon. Juan even offered me some helpful advice on the most scenic route to take!
I was extremely happy with the service I received from Brake Masters. When I first heard that grinding noise, I figured a vacation day was going to be wasted trying to get this problem fixed. Brake Masters fixed my brake problem very quickly, and for a fair price.

Juan, Lesly and team took my vehicle in for a pretty nasty growling noise, I got rotors and pads replaced on both axels, they honored the warranty when I still heard squeaking, no hassle, no fuss, replaced rotors and pads a second time on front axel and everything was good, great honest service I would recommend to everyone

Brake Masters was such a great experience. Juan helped me out and got my brakes swapped out right away. I wasn’t given anything I didn’t need, got my vehicle back the same day, and the pricing was fair and competitive. Will definitely be back.

These guys were wonderful and truthful. I took my car to a different place for an oil change and got hit with the old ‘something else is wrong’ speech. This time the brakes. I decided to get a serving opinion. Brake Masters took the time, checked the brake and let me know I had over 15000 miles left on them. If you want honest people, go see them!

Jaun and the crew at brake masters are fantastic!! All I have ever received is top notch service with quality and respect! They even have helped me try to diagnose problems without charging me. I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle in to this location for whatever service you need!!

Professional service at a fair price. We got our brake pads replaced along with an oil change. It was quick and they even had a place for us to park our camper while they worked. Would definitely come again!

Brake Masters replaced my front rotors and pads about 7 months ago. The old set were not causing issues or making any noise--this job was done preemptively to help extend the life of the car.
Ever since that replacement, the front brakes have squealed daily. I hoped there was just some dust between the rotors and pads that would wear away. The noise never improved.
I took the car back to Brake Masters this week, less than 4,000 miles from the original job, and explained the issue. They test drove and "couldn't replicate the noise." They never inspected the car, just drove it around the block and told me no issue was present. They told me I would have to drive them around to replicate the sound or they would not do any work on it nor honor the warranty.
Juan was condescending, patronizing, and seemed insistent that this was all in my head. Not only that, when I questioned the quality of work that I paid hundreds of dollars for, he laughed in my face.
I left this shop, disgusted, and went to a local guy. They immediately test drove the car and confirmed the noise. It was not made up or all in my head, after all.
Juan, General Manager of Brake Masters, disrespects, demeans, and intimidates his customers. If you have any self-respect, and if value your money and safety, avoid this shop like the plague.
