My family was in Flagstaff for a marching band competition in October of 2023. We visited Babbitt's Backcountry store where I purchased a shirt. BUT, this shirt wasn't just any shirt. It had a picture of a dog wearing a sombrero on it and it looked just like my dog, Libby. You can say Libby is my therapy and she means so much to me. I rescued Libby when she was 4.5 months old and she will be 7 this year. Libby and I were in a pretty bad car accident together in 2022, so we definitely share a strong bond. Well, I recently had a cleaning mishap and soft scrub bleached my favorite shirt. I was SO bummed about it and couldn't just stop by the store to get another one as we live about 3 hours away. I sent an email to Babbitt's, where I received an immediate response. I spoke with Matt and he was happy to help me out and ship new shirts to me. I purchased 5 more shirts for my family and myself. This made my day and I am so thankful for the customer service that I received. I will be sure to visit the store in the future. Regards, a happy customer

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a shop dog, so you know it's already a great store. The store had tons of selections and a lot of local artists and local vendors that retail at that store. Not to mention, free stickers! When you're in town, make sure to visit!

We expected to shop everywhere in Flag for new backpacks. But Babbit's has a huge selection and Owen explained the features and the differences, fitted and compared different packs, even with weights! He obviously loves backpacking and helping others figure out the best solutions. There's a discount for locals and we're super happy with our selections.

Terrible service. Only people in the entire store, two employees saw us, never said a word. Saw us at the boots section, never saw a word. Went down to PEACE, greeted, amazingly great service and $325 later walked out with boots. Do yourself and walk the 2 min to PEACE and get the service.

I've been in the store twice in the last week looking for a new pair of women's Teva sandals. On the first visit, a young male employee asked if I needed help, which I appreciated. Seeing anything on the lower displays is impossible due to pain. On my second visit, following up on the Teva search, three young males at the front "register" did not acknowledge me, even to say hello. They did, however, keep up their enthusiastic banter with each other. What a shame when employees are not taught to welcome customers and/or offer assistance.

Overall, a lot of options, but don't seem to have what I need when I go in. Prices feel exorbitant to cover downtown rent. Staff are friendly when you get their attention, but don't seem to feisty to make a sale. I'm guessing no one is working on commission. Overall good quality items that are stylish with a wide variety of options for each thing but the prices are definitely on the higher end

We were camping in the Flagstaff area and wanted to find a local place for gear rental (tent, sleeping pads) for a night. We were happy to find Babbitt's - rental cost was excellent and the items we rented were great. They were open until 9pm on Saturday and 6pm on Sunday, which was great for our traveling needs. We called ahead with some questions and the staff were knowledgable and professional. Rental payment and return process were smooth. Would definitely rent from here again.

Your local full price outdoors store. Their dressing room has one medium sized hook and needs a second hook so I can put my keeps on one and and my no's on the other.

Decided to check this store out since I had an appointment near by. I purchased a paw soothing balm from their pet selection and when I brought it home I found a huge chunk gouged out of the middle. If I ever shop here again I'll have to double check all the product to make sure it's not been tampered with.
