This was by far the best rental experience I have ever had. We will be renting again next year when we return to Flagstaff, thank you Avis for everything you did for us.

It is because have to rated 1 star so I can Posted this Review, because if there is a choice of 0 or Negative, obviously they will get that asap.I went on a road trip with my friends for my birthday, so by the time we went by Arizona it was 9pm, me and my friends were thinking we should get a rental because of the conditions of my car couldn't drove under snowy. Because of timing and budgets we decided we gonna be waited in my car until the morning, and then when it's our time to pick up the reservation we will just go grab the rental and continue on our trip. That morning, these "people" walked in and out saw us in the car, we Asians, me and my friends were all girls. So what did they do, they called the 911 on us, and a police man showed up and even he felt weird for being called there. So after that, I went inside the airport to get the Rental. Usually for deposit it's highest 150$, but again, I wasnt came from there so they "demanded" us 250 with an attitude that was because we are "Asians". Since we waited all night long and to avoided unnecessary dramas, so I accepted the deposit fees. Then while im making the "payment" the lady at the front, straight up pressed declined my card, and said that "we don't let people like you rented out the car, because you have bad credits." And I was like, "what?" Because I couldnt heard her well, I thought she was joking, then she Screamed in my facr with her face full of hatred and hateful and by that I realize I was Racism just because I am ASIAN. Ive never been in a situation more RACISM than that lady. Then I start thinking and I realized because i am Asian and I'm not white tht's why I can't get the car. Then I asked her about the Refund, she was like "we don't have any responsibility for you on that." I have never been mistreated as bad as I was here? If you are Asian? Please don't come here, they will not let you have your rental, only wasting your time with their horrible and despairing attitude. Also when I tried to get my refund, the audacity they had to approved the rental on my file and listed as I already picked up the rental.This is my warning ⚠️ ⚠️ to you:❌❌IF YOU ARE ASIAN DO NOT COME HERE TO GET ANY SERVICES, THEY ARE ALL JUST RACIST PEOPLE AND THEY WILL CALL911 ON YOU, IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE.

I was stuck in Flagstaff for a bit and I came across the best owner, his name slips my mind, but his staff was trained well in all aspects of the business. They got me going quickly and without any problems. In a world where businesses try and get over on people and people try and get over on other people, I want to say that this team truly cares about providing great, quality service. It is definitely a reflection of the owner and his leadership. Thank you for making a horrible weekend much better. A little humanity goes a long way.

Darren and Peter saved our travel day and came in clutch with a car to get me to phx to catch my flight when my booked bus was super late and expected me to sit by myself at a bus station behind bushes on the highway when the bus station was closed.Thank you so much Darren and Peter! You guys made this smooth and easy and so much less stressful!

Avis does not have "Emergency" Roadside Assistance; they barely have roadside assistance. I spent 7+ hours trying to get my rental car towed and replaced over the course of two days while out on a business trip after the alternator died. I talked to at least 3 Avis reps over the phone and all three of them told me different things. Because my car died at a neighboring hotel of a coworker (and THANK GOD, not an hour and a half out in the middle of nowhere where we were working), I worked with one of the Avis reps to tell the towing company that the keys were at my hotel and that the car was at a different hotel, but both still just across the street from each other. Several times reiterated there were two different addresses. Because it was already midnight and I had work in the morning, the tow company said to just leave the keys at the front desk and to go to bed. I woke up to missed calls from both the towing company as well as the Avis rep (the one I had worked with to distinguish the two different addresses) saying they were unable to pick up the car because the keys weren't at the front desk...they had gone to the wrong hotel for the keys. I walked the keys over to the hotel with the car and dropped them off at that front desk to avoid the same issue and called the emergency assistance number again to restart the process. They finally said they would be able to get a tow truck out by 11am or so. At 1pm, I texted the towing company asking for an ETA (again not walking over to see if the car was still there or not) and they replied that the car had been towed around 9am that morning. So went up to the Avis rental at Pulliam Airport to get my replacement car finally; they had no record of the towing nor did they have a car ready for me. When they did upgrade me to a luxury car at no charge (and also because that's all they had), that car had warnings pop up as soon as I turned it on that the key fob battery was low and that an oil change was due.

It was all around a dreadful experience. Rented at Flagstaff AP. Car wasn’t ready when my plane arrived. It smelled of cigarettes. Return was worse. Ignored by agents. Not even a “thank you” for my business.

Brooke and her team at Avis did an incredible job helping us in a pinch when our Greyhound to Phoenix was canceled. Couldn't recommend this location and group of people enough. We got a beautiful Tesla for the drive -- talk about an upgrade from Greyhound!!

I was given a vehicle with no gas. I should be able to bring it back empty according to the contract, but guess again. They can break their contracts if they want to. Overall, it's a frustrating experience. Better look elsewhere.

Avis has been extremely difficult. Our charge for the rental car was originally $1,395.19. They then said they charged us $2,040 but our card was charged $2,200. We asked at the counter why this was the case and they said we needed to call their office and figure it out. They would also not give us a printed or mobile/online receipt. We called and asked why we were charged almost $1,000 more and they swapped us from different customer service members in which we received these explanations on the price differential after a 2HOUR PHONE CALL.1. Taxes2. Security deposit3. We picked it up at the airport and was going to drop it off at another. (This was on the original reservation documentation ) they followed it with another 20 min hold.They couldn’t even come up with answers that lined up. Avis representatives at all locations “have no idea” about anything. I have an idea. Learn how to run a respectable business.

The staff in these location is very incompetent and UNPROFESSIONAL. We went there for a car exchange, we have email from the customer service authorizing us to do a car exchange me and my partner are not yet done explaining of what happen. The White boy just laughing at us and told us he cannot provide us a car exchange. When I get upset and raised my voice to him and point his finger at me and scared me of the police.Poor service!!! ??
