These guys are pros! They’re kind, knowledgeable honest and professional. They put new upper and lower control arms on my truck 8 years ago and they’re still holding strong! I went in today to get some help on a part and they helped me with no hesitation. Go to them for all your suspension needs!

You come across a place like this once in a blue moon... An honest mechanic! Not only did they diagnose a sound I've been chasing with two other mechanics, they found the problem in about 5 seconds. They let me look under the truck to prove they weren't full of it. And most importantly, despite having ordered a few parts they expected to need to replace, and despite the fact that I already agreed to pay for them, when they got everything dismantled they realized they didn't need to replace those parts after all, and they took that stuff off the bill. If there was ever a sign of a truly honest mechanic, that is it.

American Spring did an incredible job for me. Service Advisors were knowledgeable, and let me feel assured that my vehicle was in good hands. My car needed a belt replaced. The techs also topped off my fluids, and got me on the road again with no worries. I highly recommend American Spring for any alignment, lift and leveling kits, tires and wheels.

This is my 2022 Ram 2500, Had American Spring do all the work from the ground up and it is legit! They installed a Carli suspension kit and some rims and tires, super pumped with the build! Cannot be happier! Definitely recommend these guys. Had it done quick and clean!!

Your mileage may vary, but here's my experience at AS. (Maybe I just have bad luck) We drove 1.5 hours to the shop, & rented a car for the day, to have anti-sway bars front/rear, upper control arms, and a pitman arm installed, (based on their inspection). I showed up, and the rear sway bar wasn't there: (The delivery truck apparently missed the pick-up?). They began installing the parts they had, but called us hours later to say one of the brand new control arms had a torn bushing on it out of the box? So we left the truck there, drove 1.5 hours home, and kept the rental over the weekend. ($$$) A week later, another appointment missed, because this time the sway bar was "damaged" en route, and not delivered. When I found out (and mentioned) the parts had been marked up 140%, they discounted my repair bill enough to cover the extra 2 rental days. Upon driving the truck for the first time, it had really bad vibration. I brought it back, and found that it hadn't even been test driven after the repairs. The tires were rebalanced, and improved... But the alignment I paid for didn't improve anything.While at home, I noticed the skid plate was missing from under my truck. When I asked about it, they said they "might have it", because "We have a lot of those lying around". When we returned to have the anti-sway bar finally installed, we couldn't understand why after 7hrs, we'd received no call, so we headed back to the shop. Turns out, someone threw away our skid plate, and the shop was waiting for a dealership to deliver a new one. I finally got my alignment done elsewhere, where I was informed my tie-rods needed replacing before an alignment would work... something I wish American Spring had mentioned when charging me for an alignment that wasn't effective. In short, it took 3 weeks, 9 hours of driving, and two car rentals to have work done there, that had to be finished somewhere else. A nice bunch of guys, but we wouldn't feel good about going back. My impression, is that these guys are simply too busy to do good work consistently. Hit or miss.

I have not had any work done here, YET. These guys left my car up on the lift so that they could show me the reality of my vehicle's condition. I've never had any mechanic actually take the time to show me what concerned him, but then not ask for an inspection fee, etc. If your looking for a friendly and honest company to deal with, this is them.

I knocked my truck's alignment out while driving off-road. I called American Spring & Alignment the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week, and they managed to fit me in same day. They got me in and out in under an hour. Did a great job, and know their way around off-road vehicles and Toyotas in particular. Great work and really appreciate them making room for someone passing through town.

I’ve been to American Spring a few times over the years. They installed my 6” lift kit flawlessly on a 2005 duramax. Other times I broke down with broken ball joints, they worked with me and my insurance to get my truck back in the road! Lastly, the most recent time, I had a bad wheel bearing and they got me in so quick to replace both sides of my wheel bearings no problem. The best place in town to take your vehicles!

Got a brand new 2023 Tacoma and wanted to get in lifted with a sweet suspension and American Spring was the right place to go! They did the full suspension, upper control arms, leaf springs, extended brake lines, brand new tires, the alignment, and did the trimming on the fenders where it rubbed a little. They answered every question and the work they did on the truck looks phenomenal! Tim and everyone there were amazing to work with and they brought my build to life and I love it. Great experience with the guys at American Spring. Inquired about upgrading the tires and suspension on my 2020 Tacoma, and TJ was awesome to work with. Gave me a ton of options, was patient, and when the time came to pull the trigger they got all the parts within the week and had me scheduled. Went with Icon Stage 2 kit (2 inch lift) and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T- been happy since installation (ride and handling much better).Since then (April 2023) any questions that have come up they’ve been friendly and quick to answer and every time I’ve come in they remember me. Can’t go wrong with any mechanic needs or upgrades with American Spring!

I cannot speak more highly about this locally own shop. The owner, Scott, his son Tim, TJ and mechanic Gary were all great.They added a lift kit to my VW Bug. Aligned it, and installed a tow hitch (I know, not your standard stuff for a Bug, but I use forest roads a lot).They finished when they said they would, and even dropped me off and picked me up from where I had rented a vehicle.I had them check my “torn/leaking” CV boots (according to Findlay VW) and they said they are wearing out, but not torn nor leaking. They could have easily lied and done extra work, but this is an honest shop. They actually charged me less than they were supposed to!This is a high quality group of people that work here, and Scott (owner) should be proud of all the work they do.They told me to come back in 500 mikes to recheck everything and make sure all is fine with the work they did.This is a rare gem of a automotive shop. Excellent skills and knowledge, and trustworthy to boot. Plus their hourly labor rate is on par, or lower, than others in the city.
