Update again she sent out a email saying I threatened her and I did not now telling me I have till Friday to get my stuff out and she’s going to have police there when we remove our items. Also it’s just my husband aloud on site not me this place is a joke and so are the managers
Update called stated facts about the pricing that online it still cheaper for what they charged me she was rude so I was rude back told me I’m not on the account just my husband which isn’t true they took my id and did my stuff when we signed. She also hung up on me when I was stating facts about the pricing to her
Called back to get the managers name and the assistant manager name and she wouldn’t answer or give a name and hung up on me again so I will be calling local news and haviing them looking to the fraud

Upped prices with no notice from $75 to $175 dollars the lady was rude when I called her and asked why we never received a notice in the mail, by phone or email. I would never recommend anyone to do business with this place

Update #2: We finally received a response back (after billing for August) and provided 2 options, to consolidate to a smaller unit or to submit a form to negotiate for a 10-30% temporary reduction. They claim the increase is due to rising costs, but please keep in mind, the website TODAY shows my exact same unit being offered as an ongoing rate of $80 less than what I am paying (only $20 more than my initial introductory rate) - unclear to me how that aids in the rising costs of operations; in fact, it blatantly contradicts that. To offer the option of consolidating to a smaller unit, despite still advertising my exact unit for significantly less than what we are paying now is absurd - we would have gladly accepted the $20 increase being offered today. Buyer beware - they have zero interest in client retention. From our experience, they offset these low intro (and stated ongoing) rates with exponentially higher charges relatively soon after moving. We also declined their offer to negotiate for possible approval of 10%-30% less than the already imposed 63% increase - I do not trust a company who operates in this manner to honor any agreement they make. After going down to the facility in person to discuss, their onsite manager told us she moved out also due to the increases (whether or not this is factual or just for perceived empathy, I can't say). To management - I recommend sending certified letters with signatures to ensure your "valued" clients get their rate increase notices (I'm certain each customer will be happy to absorb this cost) as we did not receive your first-class letter. Regretting our decision to leave our previous storage facility where we were for 18 months, who at least held our intro rate for 12 months.
Update: we reached out via email at the contact information provided below and received an auto- generated email stating someone would get back to us within 2 business days. That was last week and have heard nothing back. Conveniently the next billing cycle is now due. Clearly they have no interest in helping.
We moved here in March after our previous rental company increased our rent after 12 months. We specifically asked about rental increases and were told they don’t do business that way. After just 4 short months (two months at the discounted rate and two months at the ongoing rate) our rent here was raised by $100, nearly 63%. We received no notice, just a standard invoice 2 weeks before the rent was due with an increase - nothing that alerted to the increase. The timing is also convenient, because no one wants to move in July in Arizona. Sneaky and deceptive - rent from somewhere else.

Do not rent a storage space from SecureSpace. We signed our agreement in January; five months later they have doubled our rent for our unit. In addition to that they auto deducted more than our agreed amount without disclosing any increase to us via letter, email or phone call. The amount they deducted was larger than the invoice they provided us.
When trying to resolve this matter we contacted the location and was routed to a call center. The rep could not advise why we were charged an additional amount. She finally advised it was for the required insurance. However we provided proof of our own insurance in lieu of being charged for their insurance. She could not answer any further questions. I requested to speak with a manager, she said that I couldn’t speak with a manager. She said she would have the manager contact me before close of business. I was never contacted.

Recently rented a unit in Surprise AZ. All personnel very nice. I rented a “climate controlled “ 10 x 20 unit which initially was cool. However, when loading more items today, I found no a/c working in our building. Sitting with the person who was in the unit next to mine (building E) apparently, air conditioning has been off for a while!!! We need help! For the additional price, I expect much better.

Facility and employees at this location are patient and a joy to work with. However, after less than 6 months at the location the rent for our unit was increased by 50% from $200 a month to $300 a month. The unit we had here is for a non-profit, youth organization. When we called the corporate office to see if we could get a reduction of the increase, we were transferred to the store location. The store location told us they were not able to manage prices because this is done by the corporate office. And the number we were referred to was the same number on the rate increase card that we started with. Meanwhile, the same size unit can be reserved online for the same $200 our original contract was for. So we could reserve a new unit for the same price and move our stuff from one unit to the new one. But, they will not maintain the price on the existing unit. This is a horrible and predatory way to treat existing customers.
Update (1 week later): We have talked with the Customer Service representative for the organization. And, they are working with us to make adjustments for the organization. We have increased the review to three stars because the facility is good and they did respond. We do not feel it is appropriate to raise it more because it took a response from the organization that was willing to listen to our concerns and situation. The good news is that they did respond.

Contract states they may increase rate with 30 day notice. I received no notice and they increased my rate by $100. Steer clear. We signed for the unit in march and by July, our rent doubled. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I had 2 spaces covered so I could keep my toyhauler and flat trailer back to back, all was good at first then the charges started going up with minimal notice. After the charges go up the. They decide I can no longer keep my side by sides on my flat utility trailer, absolute garbage and recommend staying away from this place. Wash bay always had cones blocking it so never could use it, had outlets to plug in but couldn’t use them to trickle charge, terrible corporation:
