do not trust valley verde with your healthcare! even more so do not under any circumstances trust them to have you and your babies best interests in mind. this is not an attempt to complain. this is a blatant warning to any family attempting to deliver there child. we just delivered there and it was one if the most terrible displays of conduct i have witnessed. there are two nurses in the maternity ward who went above and beyond what one would consider discrimination. there is no room for ego in the medical field especially when you cant let it go eniugh to understand and accept when a patient is telling you they refuse certain illegal actions and instead of accepting it you get offended that the patient is right and go so far as to call cps and attempt to have a child taken away from their parents claiming the father is hostile because he simply was watching out for the well being of the child. both nurses were named heather and they are dangerous. do not trust these women or this hospital. they should both be stripped of their positions and not be able to practice. they did everything they could ti lable my wife as a drug addict and due to cannabis and sudafed that were illegally tested for. if you would like the situation in full detail then please comment with your email address and i will send you a full description. this woman acted like this was somethjng to play with and did not understand hiw close she was to experiencing how far a father will go to keep his children safe from people like her. she tried to take my child from us and would have been unsuccessful even if the worker that came to investigate the incident wasnt the wonderful, level headed, excellent example of a human being she was. she saw through their slandering and lies and concluded that they were completely out of line and closed our case within a couple hours of them trying to steal our child. stand up for yourselves and your children and never let anyone try to convince you that they wiuld be better off in the hands of these child baby snatchers. so if you dint want to have to have the experience of seriously deciding if yiu are going to let someone live and have or child taken or to ensure these individuals( heather, george, any other staff or security) dont have the chance to ever do this again and then do your best to get yiur child out and disappear seeing that the system woud aggressively pursue you for ending them for trying to take your child then avoid valley verde for they are not looking out for your best interests. i hope the most was done to these people because i wiuld have done the most if they put their hands on my child and that goes for anyone else who thjnks they will come between me and my family. test that. and heather, thank your lucky stars that the worker that showed up did and saw through your lies. your true colors shone through and they were nothing pleasant. there will be consequences for your behavior and i will pursue any route possible to make sure you do not get this chance to do this again. you have no place in this field. change your ways. you were so close. i hope to be the reason why you are being handed your last paycheck and i hope you never get this opportunity again. it would be wrong of me to not ensure you have ti seek a new path because this one will be closed for you. love your children and defend them to the end. people like this and establishments like this will come to an end soon. the healthcare system will be destroyed and rebuilt with the true methods of care. at the moment it is corrupt and has been off course for profit for to long. the disregard for the family unit and peoples well being have been actively attacked by people like heather. their egos and lies and cowardly behavior is nothing but stains on the human experience and needs to be washed out. once again, avoid this hospital at all costs!

This is the worst hospital in the state of Arizona. Try to avoid this place at all costs or it could cost you your life. It is better for you to take an ambulance ride to Flagstaff since that is where they will transfer you anyways. .

Admitted for 4 days with a bad leg infection. Excellent nursing and PCT staff. Super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The doctor was great and his diagnosis was spot on. The cleaning staff and the cafeteria were even great. I have ZERO complaints. I was in a lot of pain with this and they took care of me. Excellent care!

ER may be safe for life threatening emergency (heart, stroke) DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ADMIT YOU. Be transferred to Phoenix.or Flag for actual treatment beyond being stabilized. Doctors have poor judgment skills, and very poor surgery skills. Work is very low-end/backward. The 1940' Ford mechanic working on your 2003 Tesla/BMW.with a screwdriver and pliers. I had 3 correction surgeries to my initial surgery. Final one was in Scottsdale. I was told first surgery was probably unnecessary. First surgery was a complete failure. Doc did everything wrong. I'm suffering now. Very traumatized. Scottsdale doctor told me not to go back to VVMC. Some nice nurses. Most very poorly trained. Poor observation and judgment skills. Many are Very young and lack the wisdom of experience. (Most nurses hate working there. Told me they would not bring their dog there. Some nurses were threatening/abusive. Administration allows it. Sides with the nurses. Recent nurses questionnaire stated best solution is all the administration should be replaced. Hippa not respected. Even nurses at LabCor stated similar stories. Shameful. I decided not to repeat all the horror stories, since they are secondhand. I am sure some individuals have good stories to tell. Im happy for you. ER was ok. Nice docs. My experience once admitted and being treated was horrible. I'm not alone. I was a nice good cooperative patient. I'm heartbroken and I want to sell my house and leave Cottonwood. It's not safe.

I was warned about the Cottonwood Hospital when I moved here. People were NOT joking! If you can wait for 45 minutes, drive to Prescott!!!! Hands down the worst ER I have ever experienced. RNs were excellent but the wait time and understaffing was ridiculous. 6 hour wait for my 82 year old aunt with a broken shoulder. Thinking this is an administration problem as the people we interacted with were great, just stretched too thin. Shame on management for prioritizing their bonuses over patient care.

Knowing that all hospitals are short staff. I'm not sure on the medical care of yet! I've been waiting close to 4 hours for the person I'm with to be seen. I am a RN for over 20 years. So please keep this in mind. The person waiting for treatment is having an allergic reaction...has already had several doses of Benadryl prior to arrival SEVERE facial edema, with no shortness of breath upon arrival...no one checked after peek a boo assessment! Never took his mask off to look at mucous edema or nasal! So they can't even do a subjective nursing note on the increase of edema! So we wait!

Extensive wait time for severe abdominal pain. Going home and calling 911. Something's exploding in my stomach.

On my first visit, I can say my experience was a very good one. Parking. Access, patient services support, facility's condition was better than my typical visits to similar facilities in the past. Under the circumstances, everything was just about what you'd want from a like facility to make it as enjoyable as possible.
