This shelter is very discriminating against indigenous people. Especially the transgender "man" that is part the staff that works at the shelter. They encourage the discrimination and harassment.

The Verde Valley Sanctuary and Outreach center is the BEST! A local organization that helps it's community is hard to find, but VVS does just that. The staff is kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. I have nothing but good things to say about VVS.
