Not a ton to choose from but enough to make it worth the trip. The prices can't be beat. I went there and half off day and got brand new towels for two dollars apiece and I saw a guy walk out with a gorgeous 6 x 6 painting for only $40.00

Whenever we visit Cottonwood, we make it a point to visit Old Town Mission Thrift store. It is giant, they have an amazing selection, and the prices are so low. It is amazing all of the cool things we have found here over the years, and we keep coming back for more. The staff is always very friendly, the sales they have are super cool, and it is a blast! We highly recommend.

I have shopped many many many times at the mission. I ordered an armoire there on Saturday and I paid an extra $40 for delivery.I only live 2 mi away and they're not going to deliver it for 2 weeks! I can't get ahold of anybody to talk to anybody about it. I will be writing an article to the newspaper if nothing happens. Because I'm going to try and get somebody to go and pick it up and they better give me back my $40! And I am very serious about this because it should not take 2 weeks to deliver something 2 mi and take $40 to do it!

I'm giving this thrift store which supports HOMELESS and HUNGRY people in the Cottonwood area a top review mostly because of the RIDICULOUSLY stupid low reviews. One cuckoo out of her nest said we should be buying only new clothes for the needy??? Does she realize the negative impact textile manufacturing has on the planet? If anyone thinks the quality of clothing here is beneath them then they can head over to Walmart or Maurices or any new clothes store. The admission does great work and a I will continue to support.

LOVE!LOVE!LOVE! this thrift store! The store itself isn't very large but they have a great selection of men, women, and children's clothing and shoes in addition to household goods, some office supplies, books and CDs and movie DVDs. The store's very reasonably priced merchandise is neatly arranged. And, I have always found their staff courteous and helpful. They also have another building that houses furniture and appliances. I also like that the proceeds are provided to needy families and help provide services for the homeless: meals, shower facilities, clothing to name a few. Great place for bargain shopping and to help the needy populace.+JMJ Sunday, 25 September 2022. Though I didn't shop here today (they are always closed on Sunday ~ stopped by mainly to take photos because they have added a few things outside their building) I have certainly returned to this Thrift store a number of times to purchase bowls for my cats, kitchen gadgets, and to look for shoes and clothing. Every visit is different because they seem always to be rearranging the store's layout. Which actually is nice because with all the donations they receive, everything is nicely arranged not cluttered at all. And, the workers are always welcoming. Good people. Great thrift store.

Born and raised here my grandfather work at the mission before the mission was the mission he worked so hard to help this community as have I. I help there grow up Volunteering there with him until I was about 14 then start donating and they were happy to get anything to help anyone when they open the store I when in and I bought things for people who needed help and support even when I really didn't have the money they would still take anything to help people and it was not over priced NOW it seems they over price everything like it new and the will not take things if they are a little dirty They have became very greedy and don't want to help anyone They need to be shut down

So ironic! The Old Town "Mission" is FAILING in fulfilling their Mission statement: "Faith-in-action outreach that empowers, sustains, inspires and shares the love of God..." In my grad program at the (#1 School of Social work in the nation) The University of Michigan; I was part of a class experiment in which all the students brought in something to donate to charity. The quality of each item was assessed & the thinking behind the quality was assessed. We were asked & each of you are asked; "Why would a worn, stained, threadbare t-shirt be an appropriate donation? Do you think the needy should have to wear your over worn throw away clothing?" If we follow the teachings of Christ, it should be the EXACT OPPOSITE, we should be putting out our BEST! Even (if you can afford to) buying NEW items to give or DIRECTLY is BEST - asking someone clearly in need, how you can help them. This is charity! You know people in need! This is stated (implicitly) as a CONDITION of your inheritance & that you will be WITNESSED IN THIS in the second coming. Oooops! Maybe? It could.. I guess... have been made more explicit...lol. (good luck kids) Take GOOD care of the needy! It is the least of what you can do to see that you have a chance to even be considered to participate in the new world of peace. Otherwise, don't even bother asking. The answer will be NO! (By the way- did you know this is the FINAL round of the human time story?) Matthew 25:40 "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these ... you did it to me." The Old Town "Mission" carries low quality merchandise, most of the clothing are worn to the point of being faded, having pills even sometimes stained, damaged & thread bare.(see images) I have also found shoes for sale that were falling apart. (see image) When I mentioned the professional training I received in my Master's Level Social Work program to the clerk, I thought she had heard me, yet when I went to see about a voucher, I was told by The Old Town "Mission" (who are meant to be a support to the homeless) that because of this feedback that I could no longer receive the monthly allotted voucher for one shirt, one pants, one pair of shoes, one pair of underwear, one pair of socks per month. It had been the only way I had been able to keep up a standard of appearance. To further make the point, the sandals I got there just last month broke the other day. I have no other seasonally appropriate shoes at this point. At another time when I was just opening my office which I was barely able to afford (I was & still am sleeping in my car - actually for the purpose of WITNESS-ing the level of care one receives in this position & also to evaluate so called "charities" and social systems) A rug I requested because the floor was in terrible condition, was denied because it was for business. Consider the flaw in that thinking. If an item can support one in need, it is good to give. Humanity - not just "charities" but especially charities should at the least live up the spirit of the word charity. Do what you can to support each other; giving everyone a way to contribute to a thriving community. It has been witnessed that you (most of the world at this point) have failed to live up to the law of love that IS (to reiterate) a CONDITION for the spiritual inheritance.
