“Oh, were you looking for a bespeckled clutch? A silky shift or kaftan straight from Mrs. Roper’s closet? Me too, but I only brought a carryon, so I’ll HAVE to revisit It’s The Cat’s Meow with an empty suitcase. There were so many fun gift ideas and things I’d love to have for myself. With a cheerful shopkeeper burning sweet incense and fun peppy music in the background, I admired stickers, costume jewelry, unlimited trinkets, and collectibles galore! Go inside! It's the shop that smells like the inside of your grandmother’s purse.”
