You're on your own at this store. If you're lucky there might be one unlucky employee in the store outside the pharmacy. If you have a problem with self checkout or a product question you're on your own. I feel for the employees.

There is a reason this is the busiest CVS is all of Verde Valley. They are busy but have enough staff to compensate unlike another pharmacy in the area. And the staff is great!

They make you use the self check out, Even though you're going to need them to approve the age restricted medication anyway. As a senior with physical issues, this is very difficult for my wife who starts shaking when she is standing there waiting for help and the clerk is just standing there watching her. I also have an issue with their overpackaging and over packaging as shown in the photo though I've posted of my latest purchase. At least the clerk on tonight's visit was helpful in locating the tissues.

Nice assortment of snacks. Fairly clean. The drive-through pharmacy pick-up is handy - it we had a rude and unhelpful person today at the drive-through window. She seemed angry and curt when we pulled -up and was unable or more likely unwilling to answer the most rudimentary questions about our prescription. We decided to avoid her, and go through drive-through, park and walk-in to the store to get some form of customer service and advice from somebody else. Please train your staff on personable and effective customer service and problem solving.

I usually go to the Sedona location but due to staffing shortages, I found myself at the cottonwood location today.I just want to give a shout-out of praise to Julie who works at the pharmacy! She deserves five stars ⭐️The reason I gave four stars is because one of the other staff members was not as helpful but I want the focus to remain on Julie.Despite the stressful conditions we are under, she was helpful, cheerful and has an all around welcoming demeanor and I appreciate this so much.I hope she makes employees of the month and gets taken out to lunch at least! ?

I have used the pharmacy for the past four years - never a single issue. In fact, I've found them go above and beyond. I could use closer pharmacies, but I stick with CVS for good reason. Great group of people who seem to genuinely care about customers and enjoy what they do. They handled Covid extremely well, too.

As a provider in the community, and a patient of this pharmacy, I am so pleased with the customer service. The technicians and pharmacists are truly amazing to work with on both professional and personal levels. Could not ask for better personnel. Keep up the great job y'all do each and every day!

I would give a zero if that were an option but since there isn't, 1 star is a compliment. My mother went into COTTONWOOD CVS was shopping around then decided to ask the pharmacy how to go about a covid test since she hasn't needed one but for future reference. They told her she had to do it through the drive thru in her car. Ok no problem she didn't know nothing wrong with that right? WRONG!!!! The man who referred to himself as the manager Alan was disrespectful, rude, and just disgusting to my mother. He was standing behind her at the pharmacy when he overheard her conversation and immediately got defensive and mocked her asking her if she didn't know the rules and ordered her (in his own words) "to get out of my store" if she was getting a test. She said she didn't feel sick was just asking plus she was still shopping. He said he didn't care that she didn't have any symptoms and told her to check out and get out. She asked for his name and says Alan and then as if he wasn't already an a****** told her to write it down so she doesn't forget! I work in hospitality and this is NOT a manager! This store (so called manager) needs training on how to speak to a human being or replaced with a real manager. This is not how you talk ANYONE and this is not ok at all! I will not be coming back and will let this small town know how poorly management treats their customers. Alan you don't deserve to call yourself a manager.

Evan, the store manager, screamed in front of an instacart employee at the pharmacy yesterday. It was very unprofessional. I am a business leader in the community and am telling everyone to never shop here again. Evan needs to be held accountable for treating customers poorly.

TERRIBLE SERVICE DURING COVID-19I'm a part time shopper for Instacart here in Cottonwood and this was my first time doing an order from CVS. I wore my mask, as indicated by the signage, and started to gather the items my customer had requested. One of these items was a box of glucose level test strips, a pretty expensive item so I knew it was from the pharmacy. Normally, CVS has no problem ringing items up all together at the pharmacy if it is 10 items or less. I only had 7 items in my order including the strips. The woman in front of me who picked up her prescription had also purchased lipstick and eyeliner from the pharmacy all in one transaction. When it was my turn however, after asking the pharmacist about the test strips she told me that she couldn't ring up the other items at the same time, that I would have to do separate transactions because of COVID-19 rules, they are trying to avoid cross contamination. I have total agreement and understanding for this. It makes sense. HOWEVER....When I told them I was fulfilling a batch for instacart, a man behind the counter (The Store Manager, Evan), started yelling at me ,"IM NOT CONCERNED WITH ANYTHING TO DO WITH INSTACART ORDERS. WHAT I AM CONCERNED ABOUT IS CROSS CONTAMINATION WHEN THERE IS A DEADLY VIRUS GOING AROUND." Alright dude, I hear you, but like chill, you know? When I asked if there was any way I could ring the other items up front and have them print out a transaction slip to be rung up at the pharmacy so I could pay for it all at once (how I have to do transactions for instacart) , the man told me, "There is nothing I can do about it, our computers and registers do not work that way and we simply DONT DO THAT HERE SO WE CANNOT DO THAT FOR YOU". I then looked at the register in front of him and pointed to the little detachable scan gun and asked if I could just hold stuff up for him to scan that way it was contactless and cross contamination free, to which he replied,"Those scanners are for prescriptions ONLY they do not work for all of the items in the store. I have already told you WE CANNOT HELP YOU."At this point, I started to cry. It was very harsh and very rude to be refused help or a simple solution to this situation. When I was tearing up the man Evan turned away from me to go back to doing whatever it was he was doing with his back to me. So now I'm crying and I ask him, "Now I'm just going to be ignored? I'm going to lose the money I was supposed to make and my customer isn't getting what they need, please, is there a way anyone can help me?" He started to turn around to tell me off again and then this time two other pharmacists rallied with him by yelling at me that the computers don't work that way. I walked away from the counter in front of a line of people who looked shocked that they talked to me like that. I had to call my customer and ask what they needed the most. Obviously, they needed the very expensive test strips. But here are the other items I was requesting to purchase: - a small bottle of Benadryl, - a tube of Neosporin - 4 pack of toilet paper- box of Kleenex - 2 boxes of contact cleaning solution. All of these could have easily been purchased at once. I don't really believe that the computers are not all synced. I've worked at quite a few places working with registers and it is totally possible to scan any item on any register in a system. And they let an older woman buy two things of makeup right in front of me! It was unbelievable the amount of disrespect they showed me. As soon as I mentioned Instacart I was treated differently. The lack of wanting to help me was what made me cry. Like, just pretend you'd like to help? When I called the store later on to speak with the store manager, guess who? It was EVAN who was yelling at me earlier! When I asked for a district manager's information he told me"We don't give out her information but if you'd like to leave me your name and number I'll leave her a message and she wi

Evan, the manager at CVS, is rude and disrespectful, and yells at customers. A manager should be calm, cool, courteous, diplomatic, helpful and respectful and he should set an example for the employees. Evan is the polar opposite. He brought a female customer to tears in front of staff and other customers. I will not shop here again because of him.

Worst pharmacy I ever dealt with in 73 years. Prescriptions filled for one month instead of three. Contact Doctors for refills without permission. More interested in turning subscriptions than making sure things are right. Messages to pick up prescription and it is not ready.
