I've rented from Alpha Self Storage for over 5 years now. Their rates are comparable to other storage facilities in the Verde Valley and I've never had any problems. The manager Christian has always been very professional and helpful every time I've spoken with her.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR STORAGE!!! They have upped the price THREE times and we haven’t even stored with them for a year. its almost impossible to get to YOUR belongings when (even though there’s a gate with passcodes) you can only enter from 7am-7pm. Customer service is nonexistent, they have not once ever answered the phone when I called.
Can’t wait to find a new storage site and get the hell out of there.

We have been customers at Alpha Self storage for over 7 years now , so the weather stripping on the bottom of our door needed to be replaced. I contacted Christian the new manager and set up an appointment . She was very kind and helpful .
She got the job done !

Terrible. Buyer beware. Was a customer at Alpha Storage Cottonwood almost 6 years. Approximately every six months the past 3 years my monthly fee has been increased, generally more than 20%, even when the facility was 25-30% vacant. In January 2024 I downsized from a 10 x 15 unit to a 10 x 10 unit in order to save money. Less than 3 months later I received notice from Alpha that my monthly rate was increasing 30%! And again, with many many empty units throughout the facility. That was the final straw for me. Apparently my almost 6 years of being their customer was irrelevant compared with their opportunity to attempt to squeeze more money out of me. So, just 3 months after I moved all my stuff into a smaller unit, I moved everything out of Alpha altogether. Have never been gouged like this by any business, and do not wish to do business with an organization that operates like this.

Great customer service. I had an issue with one of the latches, and as soon as I called and let them know, it was addressed immediately. I was well taken care of. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

At the end of May I signed up for a deal at Alpha storage two months at half price each month, the first month of course had some fees so it came out to $130 total with the $99 for a month plus the fees. The computer would not accept the second month at half off, but Polly assured me that I would get half off the second month as in the ad and as we agreed when I called. I had had her write this on the front of the agreement and she signed it and dated (see photo.) The following month they bill me the full price , over $200 for the unit. I called right away, and Polly again assured me she would get it refunded to my card. Over the next month, I called repeatedly and was assured that they would send me a check for the refund. Polly blamed the very poor quality of the new management. At that time I believed her, but now I wonder if she was lying from the beginning after she made the mistake. I would never give these people a credit card or do any kind of business with them. They are treacherous, and I do not have the time or money to sue them. So now I am going to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Department of insurance. I gave them plenty of opportunities to simply make it right and refund the $100 they overcharged me. Run from this terrible place. There are plenty of good choices for storage facilities in the Cottonwood area.
As you see, they replied, and asked me to call them . I did as they requested and talk to a gentleman named Steve. He assured me they would act to make this right, just like they say in the reply. But again it appears they lied because no one has called me or contacted me in any way.
To keep you updated. Another month is past and they have not contacted me. They have my phone number they have all of my information I called them get a message machine they never return my calls. . Do yourself a favor avoid this place.

Alpha Storage has raised my rent by 45% in a little over 2 years. It is simply price gouging at its worst.

Moved in June 2023 and have been charged $13.00 for insurance and other small charges between $15.00 and $20.00 I told the lady working there I have insurance and have presented my documents .Paid cash in July then state in receipt I paid with check again $13.00 insurance and $16.84 unknown charge on my credit card.Accounting need to check my account and make corrections.Sept 04, 2023Still having problems with the on site manager charging late fee'shave never been late paying rent . Polly's book keeping skills don't add up correctly ! On July 01 2013 I paid $100.00 cash she put on the receipt I paid with a check ! It's not correct and needs to be changed ! Need to speak with the owner again !!!

The lady in the office is great but the owners stink they ate raising the prices monthly to get rid of those of us that cant move because of lots of reasons... I started 6 years ago, 60/month it started raising about a year or 2 ago & its now 186/month. What a rip off. They are raising it till enough have left but some cant. Like age. Some people are over 90 how are they to move out but the prices are over the top. Im dissapointed on these california owners bringing disaster to some of us here in cottonwood.

Pete and Sharon were the best - since then too many talking heads - had an RV there - after a year and a half with no incidents, they made us move to make room for a box truck - the box truck never showed up - in the meantime, we had personal property stolen from the new space TWICE and they couldn't care less - we now store the RV elsewhere for 1/2 the price - beware, someone with access to the RV lot is a thief
