They are always out of stock or SO MANY ITEMS. Went to pick up my groceries and they forgot over $59 worth of my items. All myProduce and meat missing. Will take another 3-5 days to process refund and won't be able to feed my family tonight.

The bakery has been on point there is a gentleman running it I believe or I see him often he is doing an amazing job I've noticed the difference in quality and his interactions with the customers give that man a raise!!!

This store needs to get into the 21st century. The day before Thanksgiving and 2 registers open and no self checkout. Now the day after Thanksgiving and one register open. I walked out. Shameful.

Why is the product you get here always expired....opened my cheese moldy and past expiration, milk expired and went and grabbed some tortillas someone cut through the bag with box cutters my tortillas were dried out, glad I came to Safeway You guys need to rotate, and if you can't be the kind of manager to follow up on your teams work what do you even do there? Plus it wouldn't hurt to clean the store pretty dirty....

Went to Safeway and I had a very unpleasant experience. I was walking towards the bread section and walked past the deli, I was just walking by and one of the female workers said "I'll be right with you" and I said "I'm just looking thank you" but I'm guessing she didn't hear me because as I kept walking she said to a female coworker "Ugh! I HATE IT WHEN THEY DO THAT" umm excuse? Sorry i was just looking...geez! To me that was very rude. I am not a confrontational person at all, but to me as a paying customer, I did not like this type of attitude. Maybe complain about customers quietly where they can't clearly hear you! And just because of this I would never get anything from the deli ever again.

Last night I came in late, they were closing early...and asked the manager and a worker where the gelatin was. They directed me to jello...I needed plain powdered gelatin... I asked a second time and this stupid manager turned his back... STUPID PEOPLE!!!

Not a very happy customer. I always end up spending about $500 every time I go to Safeway. I'm sorry that half the time the cashiers don't seem so thrilled about it, because yes I do have a full shopping cart, and the persons that bag my groceries 95% of the time do a horrible job. Last time I went the cashier didn't even greet me or tell me my total, I had to look at the screen. Hopefully things change or I will have to go somewhere else.

I live in the Anthem neighborhood in Florence, just off of Hunt Hwy. There is a Safeway just at the entrance to my neighborhood, which is absolutely awesome! Great food, great prices and the store is immaculate and well stocked, not to mention clean beyond belief. Imagine my surprise when I went into this location in Coolidge just 6 miles away. I figured it's a Safeway, so it's got to be comparable to the one I love just a few miles over. Sure, if the one I love was moved to Iraq, bombed, set on fire, doused in a flood and then run had to deal with the consequences of slapping Chuck Norris. I mean this place was so dirty, and poorly stocked it was unbelievable. There were expired cartons of milk in the dairy cases. Meat in the meat department had clearly been left out too long, and in general the overall appearance of the place was lacking any sense of cleanliness or order. The only thing this location has going for it is their bakery. What is management doing here that they could let their store look like this?

Yesterday, 5/25/2018, I and my coworker arrived to pick up a pre ordered bunch of fried chicken for work. The poor lone lady behind the counter, Kandee, was frantically trying to get our order ready and wait on everyone else on a busy Friday afternoon. We could have left and picked up something else for our work potluck, but we elected to stay a little later, and I'm glad we did.
