As a first time bank account holder, my experience has NOT been a pleasant one. I have had trouble on different occasions and Chase was unable to be of any service to me. The information that was given to me upon opening an account was incorrect and has therefore caused me problems since, and Chase has claimed that they are unable to do anything regarding the matter. I do not recommend this bank seeing as they have been a let down to me.

CHINO VALLEY, AZ You cannot reach anyone at the branch telephone number without trying at least 5 different times. No Branch Manager was available to speak to regarding problems when you do get through. A check was presented as a deposit and returned with the notation "Unable to locate account". Plus a returned check fee of $12 was charged. Chase Bank could not locate the account because the account number was entered incorrectly. After three hours, first going to the Chino Valley Chase Bank in person, then calling the branch to speak to someone about the $12 returned check fee, and then calling customer service at the 800 number, I was only able to file a complaint, but that's it. No one was able to correct Chase Bank's mistake! Customers do NOT have time to go to the branch personally or even to get through on the phone to anyone to have this returned check charge corrected during Bank hours! Where is the Customer Service? Why can't Chase Bank verify the account numbers entered BEFORE causing these unwarranted allegations? Who really cares about their errors and how can these mistakes be fixed?

Do not take any pictures in the parking lot or the branch manager will likely come out to verbally assault you. My family has been with Chase Manhattan since 1971 when we lived in Singapore. Clearly their hiring standards have changed. This branch manager (Rachel C.) thinks she owns the parking lot and the sky and the building that houses the bank. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.EVER.

Regardless of my low opinion of the banking industry in general, the people at the Chino Valley branch have never been less than five-star outstanding in terms of service. On the rare occasions I've had need to talk to a banker, they've always been quick, friendly, accommodating, and obviously interested in solving my problem. I recently had difficulties receiving my replacement card via US Mail, and as soon as it was apparent I wasn't receiving it she immediately had a replacement sent via UPS at no additional charge. Having a local branch is why I chose Chase in the first place, and the high level of customer service at that branch is why I stay.

Honestly you are better off waiting to go to Prescott than to waste time waiting at this one.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Rachel over the phone yesterday about my check that had a 2 week hold on it. She was so nice and understanding and I'm very thankful that I got to speak with her! I called the 1-800 number on the back of my card, spoke with online support and no one even showed interest or seemed to care. But within an hour of talking to Rachel she was able to have my hold lifted, have my funds in my account and save me an overdraft fee. I'm so thankful for you!
