Not a hotel, though the Logde is nearby/adjacent.This is a simple campground about half a mile from the Southern Rim Road of Canyon de Chelly. (If you know, you know.)Nice sites for dry camping (no water, no electricity) with a restroom on each loop (no showers, no hot water). There are ample trash stations and a gray water dump and fresh water fill (turned off in cold months).Walkability: Flat & paved campground with ADA access to restrooms.

Local dogs bark all night and too close to main road can hear traffic. There was no toilet paper. Power and drinking water not provided. Not a great deal for $20

Good place to stay if visiting canyon de chelly. friendly gate lady. Spots were nice and had some tree coverage. Clean bathrooms. Goat heads were a bit of a problem but somewhat mitigated by keeping shoe ware outside. Might be wary to bring my dog for this reason. Otherwise loved it and would return!

Took a hike into the canyon with Lupita. Such an awesome experience. Forgot riding the "shake and bakes". Get out there!

Ok campground, fairly close to the lodge. Has both shade and sunny sites. Several wild dogs running around. Some dogs were barking most of the night. $20 a night a little bit much for the space.

Cute campground for the price ($20). No hookups but has a dump and fresh water. Quiet campground except for dogs howling for a short time. We did not see the dogs.

Good: beautiful campground with mature trees, proximity to Canyon de Chelly and tour companies. Sociable staff, no problems with security. Clean bathroom facilities and potable water.Bad: goatheads all over most of the sites (stay away from Loop 3). Anthills everywhere. Decaying manure in some of the sites. Feral dogs roam the grounds and howl at night constantly. There IS road noise.Neutral: no fires.I camped in a tent, unlike a majority of others at the grounds who had RVs or vehicles. I would stay again because of the proximity but be very wary of the cons above. I am an experienced camper and was able to tolerate most of the bad or move to a better site within the campground. I walked the grounds looking for sites without goatheads, ants, and manure and ended up staying at Site 4.

Nice setting. Right at the entrance to the canyon. No hook ups. Dump station and water station. No problems finding a spot for my 41 foot RV. Saw a 45 foot here also. Only a few pull through. First come first served. Get here before 4 to assure a spot.
