It's the only grocery store in the area so I think you get what you get. It was very busy probably because it's the only store. The store was clean and had decent selection. Some of the reviews from white people on here are so ridiculous, at no point did I feel people were being standoffish or overly staring at me. My King Soopers card worked at checkout to get the discounts, just FYI for anyone coming from out of town :)

It's a pretty nice store with a good selection. I spent a half-hour shopping and picked up several things marked with sale prices. Then when I checked out, the cashier charged full price for everything...like maybe 1 1/2 times the sale prices. I asked him about it and he said I had to have a discount card to qualify for the sale price, even though there was no indication of any such on the sale tags or displays. I offered to sign up for a card and he said, "We don't just give those out. You have to register and sign up online." I finally just told him he could keep the groceries and walked out.

This Bashas is located in the Navajo Nation Reservation in Northern Arizona. Most people here have been standoffish, and some completely ignored us when we would say hi or excuse me. My family and I are Caucasian Amerians, so I understand and don't blame them. That being said, one employee at this store made a lasting impression on us. Regina, who was working at self checkout (October 7th around 7 PM), was the sweetest, friendliest person I have ever met. She is hilarious, too! We had a few people be very rude to us on the way in, and 3 people asked us for money. We helped them all, and none said thank you. We were left feeling extremely unwelcome and were thinking of checking out of the hotel and leaving. Regina changed our minds. She needs to be recognized for her outstanding customer service and just being an amazing human being. Thank you girl, you are appreciated.

Bashas was closed due to no electricity. Had to wait for them to reopen. Get a good shopping cart because there are a lot of carts that are hard to push.

Store managers don’t get all the details and they fire or let go of there good workers, they just go by the hear say, and those drunk steal from them. No proof on the workers and they let them go. Chinle Bashas needs managers that have lots of experience in being a manager. I’m so disappointed in them letting go of 2 workers and one of the workers texting the other 2 of how they worked at that place, she should be let go to.

I had very negative vibes from the Chinle Bashas' store manager...she is not friendly and very rude!! Who hired such a person? she needs to be friendly, nice and positive with Bashas customers. I did not buy the products I was about to buy because the store manager was not nice, she made very rude comment negative comments.
