While traveling to AZ I stopped by my favorite woodworking store and bought a block of Spectraply to make some knife scales. It was defective. I was told by the owner to just buy paint and dye it myself. Customer service is non-existent. Be forewarned. Thanks for nothing Dwayne!

Great selection. The employees are highly cooperative and ready to offer their expertise when necessary. They have a diverse selection of merchandise, catering to most woodworkers’ needs, whether it be tools or other products. The working hours are also excellent, mostly. I purchased some stunning spalted maple for one of my woodworking projects a few months back. It was exactly what I needed and while a bit more expensive than most other places, it had more “figure” in the wood and provided a better look than I could get anywhere else. I also like their vast selection if finishing supplies. They offer me more finishing options than I can get at any of the “big box” stores. The same holds true for specialty hardware options as well.

Outstanding customer service! I called here in search of something they do not carry but their guy had 2 solid ideas where I could find it AND gave me their contact info. It's a Saturday and still took the time to help. Next time I need woodworking tools I'm definitely shopping here first.

WoodcraftThis store has a great selection but our overall experience was disappointing. We were greeted when we walked into the store and shown to the product we were looking for which I appreciated. However as we were looking through the items every employee seemed to be “busy” near us. One was staring at us while taking inventory within a couple feet and interjected on our conversation explaining to us how the wood would look finished (we did not ask for his opinion or expertise) while another was cutting on a saw within 10 feet, making it hard for us to discuss what we needed and another just kept walking by. We were being monitored and it made us feel uncomfortable. The whole experience left us sour and we won’t be back again.

This place used to be really great. Whenever I used to walk in the staff was friendly and would ask what I needed and then would walk me over to the area where one of the items I needed was. Tonight I had the absolute worst experience I've ever had at woodcraft. There were 2 older gentlemen working and honestly it felt like they wanted us to get what we needed and leave immediately. They asked us for help multiple times but never actually helped us at all. They followed us around the store as if they thought we were going to steal something. My friend was looking at wood samples in the back and while I was near the front I overhead then talking to one another and one of them said "yea, I asked them if they needed help three times already". We definitely didn't feel welcome. I was in the front of the store going through the clearance bin and I would occasionally ask the older man at the counter what a part was until he seemed annoyed and actually told me to read the label at one point. I thought it was extremely rude and I almost asked my friend if he could buy his things elsewhere because I didn't feel welcome there. They reminded us that the store was going to close at least 3 times if not 4. When my friend had a specific question about track clamps and asked where the track bolts were, the guy didn't even bother to walk over to us to help and just told us that "they are over there". Yes, my friend was aware that we were in the right section, he asked where they were located. After that he asked if they came in any less than a 10 pack and he condescendingly replied with a generic "what we have is all over there" as if we were asking him to check the back or something. My friend is planning to visit the store one last time to return everything he bought tonight and I don't plan on ever returning to this store.

Great place for woodworking supplies! I found some exotic wood pieces for my crafting projects and a hard-to-find filler compound. Will be back regularly.

OH MY GOD I've never in my life experienced anything like that I can't believe that just happened, some guy followed me around this wood working store in Chandler & it was soooo awkward & soooo obvious that I finally pulled out my phone and started recording & yelling at him after he told me to EMPTY MY POCKETS!!!!!! For some reason he didn't ask any of the guys in there just me....I feel beyond disgusted, this was the most racist person I’ve ever met in my life. l'm stunned. And I have all of my experience recorded!!!! If anyone wants to watch it contact me. It is ridiculous and I’m debating wether I file a police report or not. The store's called Woodcraft Store.

The guy who works on Sundays is such a sweetheart! He took the time to help me problem solve how to stain pine (I had end grain pine, the worst when it comes to that awful zebra stripped blotchiness you get with regular or gel stain). He gave me some really helpful tips and shared a bunch of other resources as well. It was so nice to feel they really care about your project and are really passionate about woodworking!
