I visited the AZ-Chandler Victra store because I needed to purchase a basic phone, Kyocera 4811 DuraXV Extreme +, which I paid for in-full. The total cost of my visit was $294.13, with the receipt emailed to me. Once I arrived home, upon looking at the receipt, I noticed a charge of $24.99 for Set Up and Go Service. The employee at no time discussed this fee and that I was going to be charged it. The employee did not do any device to device transfers and never even took the new device out of the box. I attempted to call the store and first decided to hold my place in line with a call back. I received a call not long after that, but the representative could not help me since they were just an answering service and advised me to call the store back. I called a second time, waited about 20 minutes, then was transferred to the answering service again. They could not help me, said they were transferring me to the store, but I ended up with the actual Verizon customer service. She could not help me since the fee in question was not a Verizon fee. I called a 3rd time, to the store, waited on hold for 20 minutes, only to get transferred to the answering service. I'd like to be refunded $24.99 since the fee was not disclosed to me AND the employee did not do any service that would warrant the fee.

One guy in the whole store and he waited at least 30-40 minutes for this guy's wife to come back to fix his new line. The guy even offered for him to help others while he waited and he said no..... ? just been waiting

Worst experience! Definitely do not recommend. Purchased two new phones was told a promotion was going on and I would get a credit for the phones we had plus 800 off each new phone. That definitely did not happen. We eneded up paying full price for both new phones. Definitely a scam not happy. Will never go to a third party again.

The young lady working in the evening (around 6 pm) on 1/28/23 was absolutely excellent in regards to customer service. There were technical issues and she managed the situation very professionally, alerting me to issues and her next steps along the way. She was also concurrently managing another, somewhat difficult situation. Both of us were a customer service challenge to say the least. She attended to us both and appeared completely in control. I’d say she’s well beyond her years in her social-professional talent. BTW…this is one of very few times I have provided any feedback. So impressive! To be clear, I have been in the same store multiple times since it opened due to location, and while it’s been “okay” I have come to expect a disengagement regarding actual service. More often it seems I’m just another problem they are forced to deal with-not all but most of the time.
