I go every year for the Tractor tuneup kit. Used to be a John Deer (only)dealer but was bought out. They carry everything you need for your riding mower and they sharpen the blades when needed. I was in and out in less than 5 mins.

Went in to see what equipment some hoses went with. Got answers from a very pleasant person. He came out in the afternoon heat and had a look at the items I needed taken care of in the back of my truck.I appreciated not having to unload and take them inside, then reload my truck when we were done.

Recently decided to purchase a new lawn tractor. Looked on line for best reviews. Decided on a John Deere and picked the model I wanted.I am off work on the weekends so drove to their 197 W Warner Rd, Chandler, AZ location.Upon my arrival there was no other customers in the building and a couple people behind the desk. Waited well over a minute before was even acknowledged that my wife was even there, standing in front of the desk. No hello, will be with you in a minute, nothing. When we were spoken to I informed that was looking for a mower. I was informed that the salesman was out and my return by 1:00 pm. I had other errands to do so decided to try back another day.A couple weeks later went back again on a Saturday and a little better customer relations, acknowledged a little quicker. Again advised was wishing to purchase a mower. Was then informed that the salesman does not work on Saturdays.A few weeks later I took of early to get there to speak with the salesman during the week. When advised what mower I was wishing said would have to order it and would be in April before would be available. Frustrated I decided to wait to see if I could locate it elsewhere.A couple weeks goes by and my wife advised to just purchase a mower. I ended up going to Home Depot and ordering a S160 mower, as well as a bagger. This is reported as coming with a "White Glove" service. This service includes, unpacking and setup, Connect and check battery, Set and correct tire pressure, Check and fill Fluids and a few other options. There was a (3 week) delivery for the mower, Got the bagger a week before the mower. When I was contact about the delivery of the mower, the company that was going to deliver it.. You guested it ... it would be Stotz Equipment that advised would be delivering it. I understand that Home Depot contacts out this option and was willing to accept it.As I had received the bagger the week before, and the bagger comes with high lift blades that are needed, I took the new blades to Stotz to see if they could install as the were setting up the mower. Was informed to take the blades home and the person who comes to deliver should be able to do that.Later my wife received a call from Stotz advised it would be a $136. fee to install the new blades. I attempted to call their # back but kept going into prompts. I decided that I would have to change the blades myself as the internet advised average cost to replace mower blades is $40- 90.On the day of the delivery I was informed that they charge repairs in 1hour blocks and was the reason of the cost given. I accepted the mower and proceeded to change the blades my self. Took 20 minutes. After the truck drove away I saw that the fuel gauge was flashing and was less than a 1/4 tank. This was before I had even had put the new blades on or driven it more than 60 feet. So yes, while 1/4 of the way though the front yard... It ran out of gas. I did have more gas and finished the front yard.I started thing about the other problems that might not have been addressed. Upon checking I found that the rear tires had 15 lbs. of pressure while the front tires had 13 lb, and 14 lb. Wishing to confirm the pressure as I have old gauge. Went to Auto zone and purchased their most expensive digital gauge and rechecked. The results. Only one front tire was at 14lb. The second was at 13.5. The rear ties were at 12.5 lb. and 13 lb.You may say that on my first attempt to check the tire pressure I may have let out some of the air. You are most likely correct. However the max tire pressure for the front tires is 14 lb and the rear is 10 lb. Which is well above what the suggested tire pressure should be.I have yet to check the mower deck for level, which needs to be done with the correct tire pressure. If John Deere did not have the correct tire pressure then if they adjusted the deck then the deck would be off and create and uneven cut. So much for White glove.

A bit disappointing with the Stotz parts team. Right rear hydro drive went out on zero turn mower with 120 hours. Went to Stotz for advice and purchase parts vs. going online and purchasing. Thought this would be best way to get correct parts and materials needed to pull and replace part. Parts person got all ordered then walked me over to transmission/hydraulic oil and said this is one I need. Turns out I needed low viscosity trans/hydro oil instead after I tried some in unit. Brought both jugs back and purchased correct oil this time. You think they would have refunded for both jugs since they advised which to purchase in the first place.
