I don't know what to say. The two men at the Sun Lakes location were outstanding. I was in and out with the perfect storage unit, at the most reasonable rate I could find, with a great promotion, easy on my wallet. The follow up and assistance from over a month prior to signing up was unbelievable. The facilities are like new and perfectly clean. Access hours are good too. Everything was exactly what was promised or exceeded my expectations. They even gave me a gate code my aging brain can remember! And my old lock even worked. Like I said it's hard to know what to say when it my whole experience was perfection.

I really liked this place at first cause it's nearby and well secured. But having other people judge my family by our looks and complain about putting a code in while they drive so slow, first off, if the gate is open, why punch in a code second if it's such a big deal maybe have a different process for only one vehicle allowed in at a time. Being Native American and just the look of our vehicle, we should not be questioned about putting a code in or not. We always have eyes on us the moment we leave the reservation and doing business around sunlakes we get judge. Obviously, we can afford to have our stuff stored in your storage area, but if we are going to be treated this way, we will look into another place. I have even asked before if we have to punch in our code if the gate is open, and I was told no. I've seen this personally happen multiple times, and I never complain to the office..

Had to wait for the promised refund..used StorAmerica for a move in January-February 2023. Sergio was friendly and as part of the initial tour, indicated that StorAmerica offered a Free Moving Truck usage, where we would only pay for gas. What a deal!Well, what a disappointment. Onthe day of the move into storage, upon turning the ignition of the truck, the check engine light was on. "No problem," says Sergio when he and his district manager (driving by) indicated that we would be remimbursed $50 if we showed a receipt from U-Haul or other moving coming. We did this by the end of the day.No refund occurred but they would check.Three weeks later and it's time to move out of storage. Great - by now the free truck is available. Then new attendant (not Sergio) then says the truck is still out of commission and offers the same $50 reimbursing. I ask what happened to the last one. They have no record of it. So I get the U-haul receipt again, bring it in and provide it to the attendant.The next say, there is a $1.75 reimbursement in an email. "Where's the $50?", I email back. No reply in 3 weeks. No phone calls are returned either. ----------Follow-up: Sara, the district manager followed up with me immediately. After apologizing for the confusion, the $50 is being reimbursed. A+ for the follow-up and good attitude, bumping this review up to a 3-star.

RE: Unit RV57 Auto PayWe set up automatic payments to be sure payments were received promptly on the first of the month.Although they deducted our payment for the month of Dec on the 1st in full, we were not advised whether or not we would receive the pro-rated rent back, when we moved our motor home on 12/7/22.Their contract indicates they MAY reimburse you for the unused days if you vacate prior to the 10th. From our recollection, this was not discussed at the time we rented our space in August of 2022. Additionally, there has never been a response to our follow up call, about their decision on the refund, on 12/8/22. Unfortunately, we were forced to move on 12/7/22, rather than the morning of 12/6/22, when we drove to the office to terminate. Their office was unmanned for a staff meeting for the entire day, and although they indicated they would re-open at 5:00, they were not back to the office by then.The purpose of my complaint is that since we never received the courtesy of a return call from their Corp office (promised when they returned the following week from our 12/7 move date), we are assuming we won't be receiving any refund.Whatever you do, we would recommend you DON'T set up automatic deduction for the rent through their office. This was set up in the first place, for their benefit, to be sure they were paid promptly. Had we not paid in full, we could have just paid the pro-rated amount!
