Dr. Brenner, the principal at Shumway, is in a whole unique category of principals. One of the most effective ways principals sway the tides of growth, teacher effectiveness and satisfaction, and lead overall, is being in classrooms and in front of students: you'll rarely find Dr. Brenner in her office. Also, artifacts, posters, and signs of the "Leader in Me" program are found everywhere around campus. What a great program to inspire minds and hearts of our youth! Keep up the brilliant work!

My sister went there and she was bullied everyday, the teachers never really did anything about it. They just talked to the kids and let them have lunch detention.

The preschool teachers are amazing here! I've heard great things about some of the older grades here as well. I couldn't tell you who the principal is because I somehow have never met her. Over all the staff is pleasant.

Amazing School. Went here from Kinder-6th. The teachers are amazing and helpful in every way. I would say the 6th grade teachers (Mrs. Saenz, Hardy, and Ms. Notley) shaped me for junior high and all the tests best!
