If your tan or darker, my husband and I have felt "unwelcome" we've both been in serperatly to Starbucks cafe and Deli. I neve4 want to go back there. The barista kept staring and walking by while my son and I enjoyed our beverage and snack. I waved at her, wondering why she kept looking. She turned the other way. While I ordered at Starbucks, instead of giving me a fresh pastry, she grabbed the one in the display, which was probably sitting there for who knows long ? I know they usually grab one that's been wrapped which I seen clearly.

What a pleasant shopping experience I had at Safeway because the atmosphere was wonderful and the selection of fruits and veggies outstanding . I must mention that Carla at the checkout is very good at what she does, I want to take a moment to say this because it’s hard to find good employees that care or go out their way too make you feel special. Carla is very good at customer service they’re making people feel welcome I think she must be a very good asset to Safeway. Sincerely, Karen

Be aware that if you use the online shopping for pick up, they will charge you three separate times for the same order and won’t refund you till 3 to 5 days. It happened to me twice already back to back.

Horrible customer service will not be returning to this Safeway anymore .My name is James and I have been coming to this Safeway for years! Is sad that they are willing to loose a customer over not honoring a deal. For 7 pounds of meat they are loosing a customer. The cashier rep at self check out immediately got defensive when I presented a rain check for a discount. And the store manager seems like she worked for her and just listen to what she recommended. This could have been easily handled by just simply explaining to me the process of what the limit is per customer on the discount and just honoring it this one time and settling expectations moving forward. But for 7 pounds, Really Saveway. This is pathetic, I expected more from Saveway as a brand, their employees and managers.

Safeway is a supermarket I frequent, often alongside Fry's Food and Drugs. While it doesn't quite match up to the quality and selection offered by Fry's, Safeway remains a decent place to shop for groceries and other essentials. During my recent visit, one of the employees named Jose went out of his way to assist me in selecting a cake for my youngest daughter, who recently landed a job at Intel right after college. His helpfulness and willingness to assist customers added a personal touch to the shopping experience, which I appreciated. Additionally, I stumbled upon a unique wine at Safeway adorned with a rainbow flag--a find that intrigued me. I decided to let my Polish daughter try it, adding a touch of diversity to our usual shopping routine. While Safeway provides a satisfactory shopping experience overall, there are areas where improvement could be made. The store layout and organization could be more efficient, as navigating through aisles sometimes feels cumbersome. Additionally, the variety of products offered, especially in specialty or niche categories, could be expanded to cater to a wider range of customer preferences.

How do you solve a customer service nightmare like Oliver? He's a bull in a China shop. Sensitivity, diversity, equity, inclusion or neurodiversity training. That's a SMALL step in the right direction although he may be too much of a smoothbrain to catch on. Better just cut him lose now.
