Caught a rock on the freeway that split our front passenger side window. Decided to take our truck into Safelite (this decision was made with trepidation because just last year we scheduled a Safelite tech to come out & replace our windshield. 5 minutes before scheduled appointment the tech calls to say he is overbooked & must cancel. Offered no other options.) But because our insurance recommends using Safelite, we decided to give them another shot. We make the appointment and arrive. We are told it will be about an hour. 45 minutes later tech comes out and we are thinking 'awesome.' Tech advises he is nearly finished however there was a problem with the mechanism that holds the window in place. Tech tried to allude that there was possibly a problem with the regulator previous. We advised there was never a problem with the window the entire time we have owned the vehicle. Tech recanted and said they would then order new part that would be in within a day or two and insurance would cover. They would reach out to schedule replacement once part was in. Almost 2 weeks later, we reach out to Safelite because we've gotten no response. No one has any information. No part ordered. No appointment set. Once mistake was discovered. We are told part will be ordered immediately, but insurance may not cover. What???! After more discussion we are advised Safelite will 'take care' of everything. We get a call 2 days later and set up to have repair done first thing the next day. Repair was done the next morning, but now our passenger side does not close properly. Again, never had issue with the door until the second appointment. Disappointed to say, we have yet to have even have a satisfactory encounter with Safelite.

DON’T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
I had to take my car here a total of 5 visits and 1 visit to the dealership in order to get my windshield properly replaced.
The 1st visit (when I took the car in originally to get the glass fixed), they weren’t able to calibrate the car. Instead of telling me this, they sent me home with the car (thinking I wouldn’t notice that all the sensors were disabled). When I brought the car back in, they were like “yeah we know, it didn’t work the first time” and they tried again. They weren’t able to complete the calibration for the 2nd time and advised me to take the car to the dealership. The dealership also wasn’t able to calibrate due to Safelite running the calibration improperly too many times that it locked the camera/sensors (also, I had to pay out of pocket for this at the dealership, Safelite said it will be weeks until they are able to reimburse me, I still not have received a payment or any updates from their invoice team whatsoever) When I took the car back to Safelite, I called in advance to let them know what my company advised based on what the dealership said, and they set up a time specifically when the store manager was available but when I showed up the next day at scheduled time, he was not there and instead of calling me know in advance, they inconveniently had me come in for no reason & just to tell me that he would call me the following Monday with an update on what they can do to help. The next time I brought the car in, they had a specialist take a look at it and still weren’t able to calibrate the car. The final time I brought the car they were able to complete calibration however they had to take my car to other place/location to do so (they did not communicate they were taking my car elsewhere in advance.)
Lastly, a day after all is said and done, the car battery (less than a year old, I have the receipts) COMPLETELY DIED. Safelite of course takes zero responsibility although they ran this calibration several times with the car on (as they stated). The car battery is now at 10% and now needs to be replaced, since it is a newer battery and the only thing out of the ordinary is the multiple test that Safelite has ran on the car.
Anyway, I would highly stay away from any company who is not transparent with you. It’s one thing to make a diagnostic and need more time to fix the issue but the lack of communication and lack of transparency is unprofessional and unacceptable as a business. As the customer, you deserve proper communication of what is going on with your vehicle at all times (if it’s going to transported to another location or is going to need to be ran for hours and there is chance your battery is going to completely die out, this should be communicated beforehand). I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the experience that I had here.

Did the worst job repairing my windshield. Almost died because the condensation build up behind the tint when it rains. Had to stop driving the car because of it. Terrible.

Don't go here at all costs. $600 wasted. My boyfriend and I are moving across country and we scheduled them to replace our windshield july 24th, they messed up and had to replace it a second time the day before we left to move. We made it to Colorado springs and as we were driving on the highway the rear view mirror fell off as it was not properly placed back on. We called and customer service sent us to a near by shop and the near by shop said they couldn't glue it on but had to replace it again. And couldnt get us in till tomorrow. Eventually we just asked for our money back so we could get it fixed today as we have to make it to illinois and the manager here was just so unhelpful and rude. (we were rude as well to be fair). We eventually hung up and our now stuck in colorado trying to get to pennsylvania $600 later.

Scheduled the a windshield replacement on line-
The day of the replacement they did not have the tint available for the strip that goes across the top. They advised me to still replace the windshield and schedule the tint 10 days later.
Did that-
One the day of this appointment I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes just for them to tell me that they were too busy to service my car, and gave me several different excuses why he couldn't accommodate my scheduled appointment such as-
advised me to actually call my insurance and see if they would give me a reimbursement to go to a professional that tinted windshields because if Safelite did the tint it might not look good due to it should have been done with the original replacement, they do not have the right equipment or space to put tint on windshields. Safelite you are very unprofessional ! And I will be recommending my Auto insurance carrier take you off of their list of business. Not a happy customer

Terrible place - say away from their services, unless you enjoy wasting time.
So far, I have been there 3 times in the last 2 months to replace a cracked windshield on my Toyota Avalon. At first, they booked me for repair, instead of replacing. Then, they completed the replacement, but butchered the calibration process and said I would have to come back in a week to redo with a different glass. I didn't hear back at all, so I booked the appointment online after a while. Drove in again, just to be told that I was not expected, that the new glass is not available and will not be available for months and that it's OK for me to drive without the camera and other functionalities until then.
I am still trying to get it fixed. The manager Juan is not to be bothered with your issues, or at least, he is not bothered with mine.

I brought my 2024 Civic Type R in after two botched windshield installs from the Avondale location. Chandler's tech, Tony G., did an outstanding job and the windshield truly does look perfect. The communication I received throughout the process and the way I was treated is exactly how a business should be ran and is a model for other Safelite locations to follow.Thank you for going above and beyond to resolve the matter and I am 110% satisifed!

Three visits, misinformation, and two extremely poor windshield install attempts with the SAME aftermarket (Fuyao) windshield...now they just want to reimburse my insurance and ship me off to any other glass company but them. Zero accountability at this point. If you want details, keep reading. I have a 2024 Honda Civic Type R. * 4/21/24 - a large rock impacted the drivers side windshield. * 4/23/24 - I took the day off work and dropped the car off at Avondale's Safelite located at 1595 N. 113th Ave Ste 100 in the early AM. A few hours later they were done and I pick it up. After arriving home, I inspect the job further and notice the rubber seal along the bottom of the windshield does not stretch all the way across. Safelite left a large gap for water and dirt (pictured) to invade on the drivers side bottom of the windshield. I immediately drive back, show them, and set up an appointment for them to replace the windshield after the tech Giovani, who installed the windshield, admitted fault and said the windshields come with that already on and will have to replace it. Fine. * 4/25/24 - I take another day off work and bring the car in for the windshield replacement. This time I stayed three hours in the waiting room. They finish and I check the windshield for the gap and repaired. The tech also explained to me that they took the windshield off and simply placed it back on after moving the rubber piece over enough to cover the gap. I didn't know they would move the rubber piece over since the previous tech said the windshield comes with the rubber already attached. But it's fixed and I wanted out of there so I let it go. I get home and look at the windshield closer and it's still not done right. I traded a fix for additional problems. The glass is not flush to the car. Upper left of the windshield is sticking up. You can see the top middle of the windshield is not flush. The vertical rubber molding on the left side of the windshield is bunched it in several places. And on the inside of the car you can tell the windshield is off-center. On the right hand side there is a slit where light is coming through that shouldn't be (pictured). So I'm done with Avondale Safelite and make an appointment for Safelite's Chandler location. * 4/27/24 - I arrive for my 1:30pm appointment at the Chandler location (6625 W Chandler Blvd). Dustin greets me, I explain the issues and he inspects the installation. He agreed this install was not acceptable and stated because my car is a 2024 an OEM windshield should be utilized. The Fuayo aftermarket brand is clearly not fitting properly. Dustin goes behind the counter while waited a few minutes and then he popped back out explaining the OEM windshield has been approved and ordered. I was to wait for a call to get scheduled once all set. Great, I'm finally going to get this done correctly (didn't happen). * 5/6/24 - Nearly two weeks later I show up for my expected final appointment and resolution at the Chandler location, 8am. Another tech comes out, I present the issues, and once again confirms the installation is not acceptable. However, I'm told that they don't have the OEM windshield. Even worse, it's not even approved. My 3rd day off work and still no resolution. Jeri Ann at the front desk explained to me that the information I received from Dustin was incorrect and showed me on their monitor that the OEM was not approved. She intended to escalate it to get it resolved, but explained that my insurance my not approve the OEM (Esurance who is contracted with Safelite). I left not knowing if I was getting OEM, if they were going to reinstall the same windshield, or if they were going to order another aftermarket to attempt. Within ten minutes of leaving the Chandler location, Jeri Ann from the location called me. She explained that because I'm upset with Safelite, they would like to reimburse my insurance so I could go to another glass company. I explained that ultimately all I care about is getting the correct fitted windshield fo
