If you have a Subaru with Eyesight don't take it to a Safelight !!! I took my Subaru Outback in with a broken windshield. They put a new one in but the Eyesight would not calibrate. So they said it was the windshield and they put a different manufacturer in and it would not calibrate. So they decided it needed an OEM windshield and they put that in still would not calibrate. Then they told me something was wrong with the eyesight and I needed to take it to Subaru. $160 to look at and Subaru said Safelight broke the camera. $3600. So I went back to Safelight and they wouldn't take responsibility and said Subaru had to reset codes. So I had a car with a broken windshield but the Eyesight worked. Now I have a Subaru with a new windshield and the Eyesight does not work. DO NOT GO TO SAFELIGHT.

Went through insurance company and they recommended and booked appointment with Safelite to replace a cracked windshield. Safelite mobile tech came and didn't cover leather seats, putting his cases and tools on them and damaging the center console. He didn't install the glass well either, air bubble presentbwhich he said will improve with hot weather and winter weather just started. The black rubber seal was installed unevenly, not visible on passenger side and very visible on driver side, looks like crap. The quality of class was not what they replaced, used after market cheap class and invoice to insurance was over $1 000! Workmanship and products are extremely poor.

Excellent service, being in auto insurance sales I am hard pressed to safe I have received better service from nicer people. The front desk staff is a awesome and very helpful. But, the lead tech Zach is one of the nicest people I have ever encountered in the auto repair industry!

We took our Subaru Outback in for a windshield replacement as Safelite is unfortunately USAA's preferred vendor. First time they installed OEM glass.. Fine not really an issue to me. However, they said after installation that they were unable to calibrate the cameras. This happens sometimes with OEM glass and they would order Subaru factory glass and replace it but now we would have to wait a few weeks for the install to cure. We waited and the glass was ordered. After then messing up the appointments and sending my wife to Casa Grande vs Chandler and then having to reschedule again at the Chandler location the Subaru glass was installed. This glass was damaged and they tried to tell my wife this was "an acceptable defect" and if she wanted it replaced again she would have to call USAA and file another claim. She had not even left the parking lot of Safelite at this time. All this time while they were still unable to calibrate the cameras and that we now needed to take the car back to the Subaru dealer. So we then truck off to the Subaru dealer and they tell us the camera was damaged by the windshield replacement and that was why it couldnt be calibrated. So now we were left with a damaged windshield and broken cameras which had disabled like half the car! Back to Safelite for the new glass again which I had to go in since for some reason when my wife tried they blew her off. Very annoying that she was treated this way. So we have the new glass ordered and the cameras fixed by Subaru since we dont really have a choice to get out car back safely on the road. The issue is now Safelite refuses to cover the broken cameras. So many trips to Safelite, a broken car, and damaged paint. Oh yeah I havent even started in on their tape they used when it was 118 out that baked its self to our car and they had to scrub it off... In short this has been a very disappointing experience and I will never use nor recommend Safelite in the future.

We have had such a disappointing experience with this location. First, they installed a defective windshield and the rear view mirror literally fell off while was driving. They acted embarrassed, and said they would get it replaced immediately. Two weeks went past I kept calling, but the mirror had never been ordered, nor had the windshield to be replaced. Finally, they ordered a new mirror, and installed it. It lasted 24 hours before falling off yet again. Called them again, and they said that they would replace the entire windshield, again. So far, I am going on three weeks with no response as to when this new windshield will be installed. Very frustrating. Very dangerous.

- Horrible service - Never allowed to speak with a representative - Unable to get information. - Calling 800 or offices is useless.

Will not be using them again. I had them come out earlier this year for a large crack in my front windshield, as chips/cracks due to rocks are common for my location, and they were great. Figured why not use them again. Fast-forward to this week. Had a tiny chip I was unaware of--due to it's location--turn into a small crack on Wednesday morning, splitting further by nearly 8 inches that afternoon as I was driving home. Called my insurance and was transferred over to Safelite, since they are their top preferred/partnered company; I was unable to miss work by dropping it off somewhere and the soonest they had for a mobile unit was Saturday morning. They show up this morning and a little later they call me saying they are unable to replace the glass because the replacement has a small SCRATCH on part of the frit. I ask if they can still install it and then replace it in a couple days when they can get another one in, as my windshield has continued to split more every day over the last 3 days and the deep crack spans over more than half my windshield at this point. The employee says they have to check with their Manager and will call back. Calls me back a couple minutes later and states no, they can't do that per their Manager. I'm sorry, is your Manager going to pay for my ticket when I get pulled, or reimburse my pay for missing work?! It's the weekend, everywhere either does not have openings or the windshield is not in house and needs to be ordered. This company would prefer to leave consumers with a safety hazard of a windshield rather than have to replace a 'defective' product that they did not check before coming out in the first place! TL;DR: "Safe"lite DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY, MONEY, TIME OR BUSINESS. HIGH RISK OF GETTING A TICKET. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!

Update: 6/12/2023I dropped my BMW off at an authorized BMW repair shop. They diagnosed it and it came back that the motor in the steering wheel is faulty. This motor causing the steering wheel to vibrator when you are too close to the edge of the lane / road. Based on that I am changing my review to 4 stars.Updated: 6/9/2023Someone at Safelitte monitoring this accounting privately messages me asking for a work order #. I provided that and they respond that they forwarded my concerns to the local Safelittle location. In the meantime, I will be dropping off my car at an authorized BMW repair facility for a 2nd opinion on the work completed and the issues that have not been resolved. STAY TUNED !.I had my 2019 BMW 740 serviced here. Ever since they replaced windshielf (early 2023) my lane departure and blind spot sensors are going off.I dropped the car in again to have them recalibrated the sensors (warranty claim on their works). NO GO. It did not work. Sensors still going off.I will be having an authorized BMW repair technician looking at this. If the sensors do need replacing and are bad.. that is one thing. But if the safelitte location damaged the computer (in the rearview mirror) then they will be getting a bill from me for repairs. I will come back and revisit this review, but as its stands right now, I wouldnt recommend Safelite for repairs.

Got my windshield "fixed" it came with a free whistle that can't be looked at for at least a week. Only drop off service so I have to waste more money for what they couldn't do properly the first time. Safelite is a waste of your time. Go somewhere else and have the job done PROPERLY the first time

I would not recommend Safelite Auto Glass based on my recent experience. Despite scheduling an 11 o'clock repair, we were kept waiting as they put another appointment ahead of us. Moreover, we were promised a 30-minute repair but ended up waiting for over an hour. The office staff seemed robotic and lacked any empathy towards our frustration. The only good thing was that the bathroom was clean. Overall, the service was below par and left us disappointed.
