They're permanently closed. It would have been nice if they updated their info so I didn't waste time going out there.

TLDR: Unit I entrusted to M-Troniks for repair was returned in worse condition than when it was dropped off. Repair warranty was not honored. Shop took my money and cursed me out. Full Story: I would caution all to avoid M-troniks at all costs. I can confidently say, with no exaggeration, that my experience with them was the most unbelievable and horrific I've ever had with a business. I want to be as articulate and clear as possible to show that I am a reasonable person and to explain exactly how egregiously awful my ordeal was. I was initially referred M-Troniks by my pedal manufacturer as they are an authorized repair location. Upon dropping it off, the man behind the counter, Mace Beyers, had assured me that they repair Helix units all the time and that they guarantee their work for 30 days from the repair. A few days later, I was notified that it was ready for pickup. The invoice stated they had simply done an "unpublished factory reset" on the unit, which fixed all of its problems. I was skeptical of this, because I had already reached out to the manufacturer's customer support line where troubleshooting, including a factory reset, was attempted. The manufacturer stated that my only option was to take it in for repair as there were most definitely component issues that needed to be addressed. M-Troniks charged their $95 bench fee plus another $33.75, which was off-putting to me as all they did was reset it; no additional work was done. Nevertheless, I said nothing and paid as I was just happy to have it working. I chalked the experience up to a lesson in being more thorough with troubleshooting. When I got home and plugged in the pedal, it still had the same issues. I returned to M-Troniks with the unit the next day and they took it back for repairs, assuring me that since it was under warranty, they would complete the repairs as promised. A few weeks later, I received a voicemail from Mace notifying me that they needed to order more parts, that it would take more time to fix, and that I would need to approve another $200 to complete the repair. I called back confused about why this wasn't covered under their warranty. I was told that the warranty only covered the initial fix (which was the factory reset that never actually fixed the issue). Under this logic, their warranty conditions would allow them to continue to misdiagnose and charge me for parts and labor without ever actually fixing the issue. I then became a little upset and confronted him about the initial "fix" and corresponding charge and asked why the repair fee I had already paid wasn't being applied towards the new fix since the issue was misdiagnosed and pedal returned to me in not working condition. Mace began yelling at me over the phone. "You wanna get technical; I'll read through the invoice!" I cut him off and told told him that I wanted no further repairs done on the unit. He hung up on me and I promptly got an email notification that my unit was ready to be picked up. When I arrived to pick up the unit, he had jammed it back into the carrying case in pieces. Not only was the unit taken apart and not put it back together, but the top and bottom of the chassis were slammed together facing the opposite direction and forced into the case. They needed to be carefully pried apart before I could even attempt to put it back together correctly so that the metal and interior components wouldn't bend or break apart. When I asked him, "Are you really giving it back to me in this state?", he unleashed a very aggressive and expletive-laced tirade at me. He yelled about being a "mom-and-pop" shop trying to make ends meet, as if that precludes them from having to do honest work. I remarked back at him that "mom-and-pop" shops do not treat customers this way, and he yelled back, "This one does, get the f**k out!" I left the shop with my Helix in pieces, having paid for a repair that was never completed. Thankfully, I was able to call the manufacturer and explain

I have heard nothing good about this business over the years and it appears nothing has changed for the better.

High quality work, done at the right price. I brought my fender Rhodes here and they really treated me well! Got it back way quicker than I expected and for less than expected. I know where my first stop will be if I have any other instruments in need.

I'm not gonna say that this is a terrible place to take your beloved tube amp because technically speaking, Tony didn't do anything wrong BUT, I did have to take my 70s twin to Hunt Amplification to actually solve the instability/tone problem I brought it to Tony for.In 20/20 hindsight, Tony's recommendations and actions were those of an arrogant inexperienced tech using a shotgun/hope-I-fix-it approach to an issue that turned out to be a progressively worse but laughably simple user-error problem - Read on, it's worth the time to read to the end.Do I think Tony was directly responsible?... Not in a technical sense and Lowell stated as much during his initial inspection.Do I think Tony should have caught the problem BEFORE I spent any money at all?... Oh Yeah, he got a detailed description of the problem when I dropped it off and when I brought it back in so I don't think it's much of a stretch to expect better from someone with Tony's creds. In fairness, Tony did bend over backward to help me with the issue after his repair but we eventually hit an argumentative impasse where he couldn't help me and I didn't feel like I could trust him - I felt frustrated, possibly taken, left in the dark and stuck with the same problem I had before Tony touched the amp AND... it was getting worse. In addition to the initial helpful kindness and concern at MTroniks they're also capable of defensive arrogant arguments - nip that s**t in the bud and don't get drawn into a heated circular discussion on how great Tony is.Let me elaborate a bit, after Tony's repairs, Tony thought there was nothing wrong with the amp and thought the problem was an impedance mismatch with the 8 ohm Captor X I was using at the time so returned the Captor X and bought a Universal Audio Ox Box that had the correct 4 ohm setting only to find... the same problem.I called the folks at U.A. and they said to stop using the amp immediately and my first thought after that phone call was, "No way I'm taking this back to Tony".At Hunt Amplification:Without mentioning anything that Tony had done, it literally took Lowell all of 10 very cool minutes to pull the chassis, find three slightly overdone resistors and an incorrect cap, run a few square wave tests on the bench to find that the amp worked fine.So what was the problem? BEFORE he did anything, he engaged me in a little conversation to find that the problem I described was not caused by the 8 ohm Captor X but because... I had had the footswitch leads reversed... AND, he duplicated the exact problem on-the-spot barely two minutes after I had walked thru the door with the amp.He explained that even with the slightly overdone resistors and incorrect cap, there was really nothing he needed to do for the amp to perform properly.I didn't know how to act - Lowell was kind, humble, honest, thorough and knowledgeable to the point of routine genius so I asked him to correct anything he didn't like as well as install a presence mod he recommended.Sure, it was my stupid mistake but after the way I was treated by Lowell in the process of diagnosing the problem, I didn't feel stupid at all - Instead, I felt relief and then horribly guilty for the times I when I was less than kind to the people in my life who had made rookie mistakes that I had to sort out.Imagine getting your amp fixed and then walking out with a changed perspective on life simply by the example the technician sets. LOLSo, do you feel like you want go to MTroniks for all your vintage amplification needs or... would you rather take a ride up to Hunt Amplification?

I dropped of my equipment, paid upfront for "nonrefundable deposit" repairs and was informed of estimated time to pick it up...never got repaired because the technician was unreliable and full of excuses for not completing repair work. Took my business elsewhere

After leaving a review, I got a text message letting me know I am banned from the store. The next morning I got a phone call from the owner compelling me to "recognize I am wrong" and "do the right thing" and delete my review, or they would have no choice but to post my email in response. She told me my email admitted there was nothing wrong with the amp they had worked on. When I said I didn't recall emailing that, she told me she could read it to me. I let her know I can read my own emails and didn't need her to read anything to me, but she proceeded to pull up the email and began reading. This is when I hung up and blocked the number.Since responding to their response isn't an option, I want to say that if they post something that shows that I thought the amp was fine, that it is either a fake or incomplete email.I changed my review to one star. This was such an uncomfortable experience.Below is my original review:Bought an amp from someone that had it repaired for over $800 at M-Troniks. I understand not transferring warranty, but I think most good techs would stand behind their work. Going to have to bring it to a good tech like Hunt Amplification and pay for Lowell to fix whatever M-Troniks failed on in their repair. Everyone seems to be polite at the store and I'm sure some will think it's unfair of me to expect them to stand behind their work, but I do expect that and I have already heard too many horror stories about M-Troniks.

I brought in a Taylor acoustic that I've lugged around with me for 25+ years. She was in bad shape. Lots of dead frets and the ones that weren't dead didn't sound great. The neck was a little curved and the bridge was a little too low. They did such an amazing job in 48 hours! I didn't think that the old guitar could sound as good as it did when I bought it so many years ago, but they got it right back to that condition. I couldn't be more excited or happier about it!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They had my amp for 6 months! When I took it in it worked but just didnt sound right. I received zero communication from them, was told they were waiting on parts after I started calling them, then after waiting 6 months I left a message that I wanted to know what was going on with my amp... got a call the next day to pick it up.... Not only did they not fix the am...now one channel doesn't work at all!! I am so thoroughly disgusted and disappointed.... what a bunch of has been hacks!!!

I used M-tronix to simply apply a jumper to one wire inside my Allen and Heath ZED12fx mixer. They claimed to be an authorized repair shop for Allen and Heath so I trusted them to execute the work properly. While doing the work, they somehow managed to fry the entire FX processor on the mixer. They didn’t tell me that it happened so I paid and picked it up assuming it worked fine. I brought the mixer back to them and explained what was going on. (Keep in mind I live 100 miles away from the store) they proceeded to tel me that “sometimes things like that happen.” They wouldn’t even give me a discount on the work. I was left with a mixer that I couldn’t use anymore and I had to pay full price for a service that essentially bricked it. Accidents happen, but this company did not own up to their accidents and did not even make an attempt to make it right

Friendly staff, they do great work and prices are very reasonable. Have used them multiple times to repair music gear, most recently my Helix.
