We had a great weekend getaway here and were very pleased with everything. The front desk guy named Dan was very attentive to us when he had a room issue, he took care of it immediately. We will be back for sure!

Nothing walking distance as far as food, water, etc...$150 incidental charges on top of room rate is insane and unjustified. I've stayed as a Diamond HH at Hilton resorts with 4.5 star ratings that only charge 75$. Compared to the Hilton Resort this place is crap. Ridiculous......

Borderline or worse fraud. I stay in roughly 100 hotels a year, 1000 in the past ten. Obviously, I have a vast point of comparison. I also have been a Hilton Diamond for years but at the moment am Gold. I do not recall EVER in 1000 hotel stays being asked for a $150 "incidentals" hold, also in this case for a reservation that was less than $100. It is not the money that is of issue, although I suspect there are people who either are unable to pay the deposit or will not, which I am assuming the hotel then turns out on the street even with a reservation through Hilton corporation. The booking process says nothing about anything remotely like a $150 hold--which very arguably also is legally required--and the explanation of the hotel is that "Hilton says we cannot list it on the Hilton site." I suspect strongly the real story is that indeed Hilton may very well not allow the $150 hold to be posted on its site, but hardly because of some blanket policy against posting general deposit requirements. We will see, as I am filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General against the franchisee--Oliver Companies, Inc. with the property managed by OCI Hospitality--and the Virginia Attorney General against the Hilton corporation based in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. In cases involving this hotel that bring about distaste, in addition to pursuing any legal remedies you feel or are advised may be appropriate, everyone should file a complaint with the Attorneys General in Arizona, Virginia, or even your home state if you are not an Arizona resident and wish to go that route, against separately both Hilton and this franchisee hotel over issues. Eventually also generally because of more than just complaints to the attorneys general but at the minimum in part aided by such the hotel either will be shut down and/or Hilton will be held accountable, all the while coming under pressure both to remove the hotel from its online booking apparatus and also to sever ties with this franchisee. In fact, any time something goes wrong at a franchisee hotel, which basically includes all Hilton hotels, you should file with an attorney general at least against the parent company--Hilton--because, for example, in the case of Hilton its "customer service" effectively functions as interference for Hilton while attempting to push everything back onto the franchisee, regardless of whether you booked through Hilton and Hilton also obviously directed you to the franchisee. You may receive some token from Hilton willingly but that is about it. Anything that matters and that the franchisee does not agree to remedy will not be rectified substantively by dealing only with Hilton "customer service." More pressure must be applied.

First, I would like to say that at this hotel you actually get a live person on the phone that works in this hotel. As an additional bonus, the employee was very pleasant. No hidden cancellation policies, just the usual 24 hours. When I arrived, Melinda was there to greet me and was extremely nice. I had a late arrival and she helped me find a place to get some very good food. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!!
