Received the worst haircut of my life here. Went back to get some assistance with the damage but that didn't help. Every time I look at my hair in the mirror I am saddened. Calling the store didn't help as the owner has taken out the phones. Interesting. Update. Looks like the standard answer is to email customer service. You should be able to handle this yourself. Step up and do your job!

The front counter person was rude and annoyed I requested two appointments because I was having two boys getting their haircut. The stylist said she didn't know what fade and comb over haircut was so asked for a haircut for a boy. She spent four minutes doing a lopsided and uneven cut I could have mangled all by myself at home for free. Learned my lesson and took my boys to an actual barber for a redo.

Sunday, June 16, Father's Day, I went in for a haircut on great clips at Ray Rd. and Dobson . It seem to be good timing because I was the only one there. The only hairstylist reluctantly got off her cell phone and came to assist me. She then them seen to get upset when I corrected myself because I messed-up my phone. Then when she misspelled my name she snapped at my wife when she announciated my name differently to help with this problem with "ya i know i got it". At this point I said no thank you and that I would go to and other locations. This location is normally really good as my wife and daughter go there regularly. My wife advised my that it must have bin a new stylist as she had never seen her before.

It is with deep sorrow and empathy that I write this message as I feel I have no other choice. Please keep in mind that I have never written a bad review before but after having to be involved in a continuous abusive matter in a public setting made me think otherwise. The incident I am about to share occurred 4 months ago on January 20, MLK day. I have made numerous attempts to reach out to the store and corporate offices, sending several emails expressing my concerns, but I have not received a single reply and have been neglected.
On Sunday afternoon around 1:10 pm, I took my two daughters, aged 12 and 10, to the Great Clips Salon in Chandler (1960 W Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ) for a haircut. Upon arrival, Mr. Richard disrespectfully called my name making weird expressions. My eldest daughter sat in the chair, and after 5 minutes, I approached her to check on her to see her preferences. Mr. Richard then rudely informed me that I couldn't be there, so I left the floor without saying anything.
While walking towards the lobby, I overheard him saying, "Yes, that's right, go to the lobby," which made me feel very anxious, especially since my child was under his care. I returned a few minutes later to check on my daughter and asked her if she wanted the bangs. Mr. Richard, in a very rude manner, told me I couldn't walk in there again. When I spoke to my daughter in a mix of English and Farsi (our language) and awaited her response, he abruptly yelled at me to "TALK IN ENGLISH," which was extremely hurtful, especially in front of my child.
I tried to explain that I wanted to talk to my daughter, but he yelled at me again, saying I couldn't be in the designated area. At this point, he yanked the gown from my daughter's neck and told us to leave the store, all while keeping the door open. My daughter was terrified and crying, and I demanded to speak to the manager or supervisor. Mr. Richard claimed to be the manager. Thankfully, another employee, Maria, tried to calm my daughter down while I comforted my other daughter. Maria even asked if my daughter still wanted her haircut, but Mr. Richard continued to be hostile, stating that Maria "couldn't even brush" my daughter's hair while she was still crying.
Eventually, Mr. Richard left for lunch after Maria made several attempts to get him to do so. Maria helped calm my daughter down while I comforted my other child. I didn't involve the police because my children were so scared. As a mother, it's my right to speak to my children and be with them, especially as they are both minors. I want to know what steps I can take to ensure this doesn't happen again and that Mr.Richard will not harass anyone else. I want to make sure that my kids find out he is not working there anymore to abuse, discriminate, and harass other children and their families.
