I have contacted them since Friday requesting authorization to travel and I have not had any response, I have called more than 5 times and no one is able to solve it. Every time I call them they give me incomplete and erroneous information. Nobody informs me of the status of my application.

So where do i begin, i purchased a brand new 2023 sierra and within one month it needed a crank shaft replaced so it spent 30 days in the shop, next week the turbo went out and another 38 days in the shop. Here i am today on a road trip and the check engine is ion again. Meanwhile GM the buy back team has made limited to no effort in rectifying an issue that is solely due to manufacturing. By the time i received an offer on a repurchase it was 7k under what i had spent in the last 6 month not including my 2k cermic coating that they will also no pay for. So i am left with a unreliable truck and have to deal with unreliable people to try and get it fixed. Im forced to either take a massive loss on truck that has been broken 50% of the time.If this is how you treat your customers, it’s no wonder why you can’t keep your employees off the picket lines!At the end of the day, I may just have to trade this in for a TOYOTA!

So i tried to have an extension because i cant pay my bills bec i was sick for 3 weeks but to get approved they want me to pay an extension fee so they will processed my deferment its so stupid that they told me that arizona was the state that i need to pay extemsion fee..i did my deferment to the other bank with my 2nd car and they never asked for extension fee to get approved this is crazy...ive never missed any payment with them.its a nightmare experience

Unethical business practices implemented on customersI was never 30 days late on any of my accounts in my credit report. Sept. Of 2022 My vehicle was a total loss. I kept GM financial informed of the situation. Provided all documentation that was needed. Before my payment was due my insurance company cut a check directly to the lien holder which was GM Financial. over 50,000 dollars left a remainder of around 5000.00 luckily I had gap insurance. Well after going back and forth with gap and canceling service contracts and so. The Gap made the payment and account was paid in full.GM told my credit report that I was 90days late cause I was not making payments. But account is paid in full. WTH I told GM you received over 50,000 dollars from my insurance company for payment. That should have me in good standing for about 4 years. GM said nope we didn’t receive payment from you directly so we can say that you violated the contract agreement we had. You still need to make payments even if you pay extra. We need payment from you direct. I was like WTH. Never I have had a issue like this arise with any creditor. They receive payment but they won’t acknowledge you paid extra therefore BEWARE from this company. Manipulating the verbiage of the contracts to get more from you. They rather ruin your credit. Also note they never even bother to call me till I started complaining about them never reaching out to let me know I was defaulting on my account. I’ll never do business with GM Financial bunch of crooks.

Worst company to work with ever!!!!!!! They want to take your payment for a car that not in your name and then wants to take 3 months to get back to about important paperwork you sent out just to tell you they lost it or didn’t receive it. Then because I’m covid positive they kept refusing to give a payment extension. Mangers are unprofessional and want to sit there and call you a liar when I have all receipts pricing I sent everything in. I recommend going with a different company because they people don’t know how to do there damn job besides stealing money and lying.

2018-They recently migrated systems and failed to reconcile their payment system I've been harassed for a month because of it. And according to other testimonials all over the place, TONS of consumers are being harassed for payments they already paid. Including alleged repossessions because of their errors. In my case, they found the payment but won't stop calling & demanding the payment bc of system deficiencies preventing them from curing the errors. I am suffering HOURS of harassment and work interruption.I have filed a complaint with the CFPB and their corporate offices, but nothing seems to phase them. They also provide invalid phone numbers to call and didn't update their customers with the new payment address. 20-30 minute holds and horrible customer service. Regretting being a loyal, never-late, customer of theirs for 5 years. FIVE. YEARS.

Not good. Customer service lines are virtually useless and internet isn't much better. It simply circles you around and eventually says that service currently unavailable, please call back. Every time I've had a question or needed a copy of a document I have to have the dealership call through their line. Please manage a customer service department that people can actually connect to.
