My girlfriend spoke with John recently about her policy or I should say “she tried to” as he was very short with her and seemed bothered by her even calling. He was quick to get her off the phone and never addressed her concerns. She is currently shopping around for a new insurance agent and will not be renewing with John or Farmers.

After many years of coverage on two homes, Farmers sent a drone over the home of my elderly (92) father and cancelled his insurance because of items "photographed" in the backyard. For starters, I found this a complete invasion of privacy, but regardless, we spent two weeks and over $1K cleaning and organizing the house and the yard for him (he is 92 and can't do it for himself), but the underwriters still would not accept the final results. Again, I find this a gross violation of privacy (we should, afterall, be able to have what we want in our backyard), but what I am most perturbed about is how the office, after so many years as a loyal customer, barely lifted a finger to help or go to bat for us. They literally only passed along messages and, had I not called and engaged, would never have heard from them. The 30-day window to reinstate the policy passed, again with zero effort from this office, so we are moving on to another agency. If you need insurance and expect your agent to go an inch out of his/her way to help you, go to another agency. If you don't want drones flying around in your backyard, then avoid Farmers Insurance!

I had John Donadio as my insurance agent for about 6 months. I could NOT be ANY happier to no longer be a customer of his. He never answers the phone, unless he’s expecting a payment. He also hung up on me when I needed further information from him to switch insurance companies. BEWARE, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS POOR, INSIGNIFICANT MAN.

The office never answers the phone. Always have to leave a voice message and they don’t return calls. We were actually underinsured on our homeowners policy. Agent is very hard to work with an arrogant.

This is by far the BEST insurance agent I’ve ever had. John is available to help with all insurance needs and works to help find the best solution possible. Farmers is great when you need them too. We suffered a house fire in 2021 and John and everyone at Farmers was a great help. If you don’t have Farmers you should give John a chance to give you a quote. He has saved us lots of money compared to other companies on both home and auto. Great company Great insurance!!!!

I had business and personal policies with Mr. Donadio. He called several times, daily, prior to me making a decision to start either policy.Regretfully, he didn't return numerous calls or emails from me when I needed to cancel either policy. He also requires a written signed cancellation notice, which includes your policy number, to end coverage. Save yourself time, energy, and frustration by submitting that first or go straight to the corporate office.
