Every time I bring my dog here, I truly feel like they genuinely care about her well being. We had to bring her in for emergency surgery, and the doctor and all the staff made me feel so comfortable and confident that they would take great care of her. She is recovering so well, and I’m so thankful for you all! ❤️

Amazing vet! Dr.Jones is the absolute best!! Very up front with costs and very reasonably priced. They dont try and pressure you with un-needed services or treatments and truly want the best for your pet, which in my experience is hard to find now a days! Thank you so much for getting us in same day for an emergency situation today! Appreciate all you do and I know my doggy does to!

I would not recommend coming to this Vetrinary office. The people are nice but their miscommunication over pricing was not. I took my one dog in as she had and issue with a tumor. During that visit I was telling the Vetrinarian about my other dog. I was explaining how I had been trying to find affordable dental care for my 15 year old dogs that teeth are bad. Great health other than that but has the small dog bad teeth curse. I said they all may need to be removed as she has had others removed in the past. I asked about how much they charge. I was verbally quoted $800 to $1200. I talked to my daughter about it when I got home, as I was struggling to come up with the money to get dogs teeth done. Low Cost Dental clinics cut off at 12 - 14 years old. She agreed to help me pay a portion of the procedure and then she would loan me the money for the rest of it. I then made an appointment at Family Vetcare. When you come in they wisk your dog out of the exam room and into their back office area. When the tech came back in. I explained to her that I was there to get her teeth removed and probably all of them. I explained what I was quoted. She said she thought it was more and I said how much more and she said it is more like $1200 to $1800. I explained to her if that was the case I would not be able to afford it. I said I felt like I was given misinformation to bring my dog in and now the quotes are $500 higher. I was told well the cost of things have gone up. I said, in a month and a half. I explained that I would not be getting this done as now it was out of my price range. She said to wait for the vet to come in and she would tell her about my frustrations and see if there was anything that could be done about the cost. The vet came in and she still quoted me the higher cost. I let her know I was not happy. I no longer trusted her so I would not be having them do any dental work. What added to my frustration there was another vet I called and they had quoted me the $700 - $1200 with an office visit pay at $55. I said, I will call them back if something happens but that I think I will go with the Family Vetcare bacause I really trusted Dr Nemeth. The cost for teeth extraction and the costs were similar. I believe when I expressed concerns early on to the Tech at Family Vetcare, I should have been offered by dog back and a chance to leave the appointment. Instead they kept my dog in the back until after I had talked to the vet and she brought in the more expensive estimate. I called the office manager and she said they would give more teaching on how to handle this in the future but I was not given the money back for the visit as I requested.

The worst experience I’ve ever had!! Why are the employees so rude? Why do they not know how to do their job? Lazy? Underpaid? Entitled? Not sure but this vet is a joke. If you love your pets keep them far from this evil place. Very very greedy! All about come in so we can charge you, then we’ll hide fees and double charge you for things. Scam! DO NOT USE THESE FOOLS!

Lazy, misinformed employees. Just want the money coming in, don’t have any care for your pets. Don’t give them your money and certainly don’t let them see your pets. Much better vets out there. Pass on this clown show.

Long but worth it! If I could give a 100 star review I would. Dr. Rae gully and dr. Travis wodiske literally changed my dogs life! Little back story on my boy diesel who is absoutely my best friend he started limping on his hind leg about 2 in a half years ago I took him to our previous vet and had him checked on 3 different occasions with no findings and then I requested to have X-rays and more extensive exam done as he started not doing things due to being in pain and he was only 2 years old. In the X-rays they said he had some arthritis nothing bad and that both knees and both hips were bad but that since it was both he wasn’t a candidate for surgery and was put on daily pain meds morning/night for the next 2 in a half years and I always worried about how that would affect his kidneys long term and he just was declining as far as quality of life during that time I was taking him to the chiropractor, physical therapy and he had braces all of which seemed to help only slightly untill one day in my back yard I was talking to dr.gulley who is my neighbor and my diesel boy walked up and just by the way he walked she identified what was wrong and told me to come see her so that she could do and exam and confirm but she was absoutely certain she could help him. I did and she was was it wasn’t both hips and both knees it was just his right knee and so she referred me to Dr. wodiske for surgery and we got that done on may 20th it was a long road of recovery for my sweet boy but he did fantastic letting me do the ice packs and PT that is required during that time. Just left the office for my 6 week post op follow up with X-rays to make sure bone is growing how it should be and he got an A+ report card and start to return to normal activity. I could just cry if I could tell you about the dog I had that first limped into that office to the full of life dog that ran to the door today. For the first time in over two years my boy is pain free and not on any medication and absolutely thriving due to the fact quality and compassion of care he recieved from this team not only on the clock but off the clock as well. ?

First off I want to say the people there are great. The care our dogs have received is also very good. We've spent thousands of dollars here over the years for our two dogs. Have always paid what we were billed. Recently one of the dogs needed to be neutered due to another medical issue. The quote was over $700. At the suggestion of my daughter we called Niki's Place on Higley in Gilbert. Since we had already had the blood test done at Family Vetcare we saved $95. The TOTAL cost was $150. That's almost 80% less than Family. I'm sure Family has their reasons for their pricing but I can't imagine there's any reason it's almost 5 times the cost of Niki's Place. The Vet and staff at Niki's were outstanding!

What could they improve? How about everything across the board. All employees are lazy and misinformed. Way over priced, and shady the way they go about billing. All in all a clown show I would avoid like the plague. So many better options out there. Leave these losers behind.

Criminally overpriced. This place preys on the ignorance of its clients and their love of their pets. They are consistently $100+ more expensive than every other vet clinic and the doctors seem very uniformed. Also, I've had to return three times for the same testing because THEY made errors and I was charged everytime. They make everything seem as if it's life and death so that you'll shell out more and more money for unneeded testing. Tell me why they are selling a simple product for $100 when I can buy the same exact product on Amazon for $20? Price gouging at its finest. Never again.

I was faced with a dog who was suffering and I called Family Vet Care at 5:30 pm to ask when they closed. They closed at 6:00, but said if I was close they would do the euthanasia. I was not a patient, but I will be now. (The vet who my dog had been seeing wouldn’t get me in for the euthanasia appt).
They were extremely professional and compassionate. Dr. Amanda Nemeth was the best! She explained everything step by step. She was so compassionate to someone she had never met. She got a chocolate kiss for Snoopy so he could enjoy it, but he wouldn’t eat it. Dr. Nemeth said she could tell I was experienced and I told her I’m a rescuer who takes in senior pups. Because of Dr. Nemeth, I’ve found a new vet clinic…and they are in my neighborhood!

This doctors, techs and desk staff are all very nice people. I always feel that our dog is being treated by not only capable hands, but caring and compassionate people as well. I'm glad to have found Family Vetcare and I don't hesitate for a moment to recommend this practice.

We have been going to Family VetCare in Ahwatukee for several years now and Dr. Mott is just a wonderful veterinarian. Very soft-spoken and cares about your pet. I have been to other veterinarians who charge for every little thing including follow-ups, and this place does not do that. When a surgery of any kind is performed, follow up should be included in that (not additional). I went to a place off Ray Road near the Fry's grocery store (Can't remember the name) but my dog had a wound and they charged me $25 to take the bandage off to tell me that the wound was healing nicely. Needless to say, no longer going there. I think the name was Southwest veterinary clinic in Ahwatukee. I could be wrong. I highly recommend Family VetCare in Ahwatukee and Chandler!

I took my cat (Cosmo) here for some kind of leg/soft tissue/arthritis issue and the service has been excellent. I hardly had to wait and the nurse and vet where both very professional. A treatment plan was provided for my cat. A clear explanation on how we should proceed with his treatment and the costs associated with those treatments was provided. There has been numerous follow up phone calls made to me asking how Cosmo was doing and that was greatly appreciated. I feel like they genuinely care about my pets wellbeing.

I adopted my little 2.8 pound Bichon. We had him for 3 days when we noticed something wasn't right. It turned out he had parvo. Dr. Nemeth saw him the same day that we called them. She is amazing! She was compassionate and referred us to an actual pet hospital after he was tested for parvo in their office. My baby was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks. If it weren't for over the phone guidance, had we waited an extra day before we took him in, we would've lost him. He is healed and the happiest little guy. We have been back multiple times for well checks, vaccinations, and allergy shots. I will not take my little guy anywhere else for care. Thank you, FVC of Chandler! Lucky's Mom
