American Muscle Experts! FINALLY ... we have found a trustworthy, honest, and efficient auto repair shop in Arizona. My fiancé unfortunately chose another local shop that offered many false promise as well as almost destroyed my beautiful Mustang GT. It is a 2016 and we did not have any issues with it over the years. However in August 2022 it overheated from a radiator issue. It was so bad the head gasket became damaged. The other shop simply did not know how to properly repair a mustang. I was devastated and then did my research for competent shop. I then reached out to this shop and Pete answered my call after hours. Pete listened to my concerns and was very knowlegable, kind, and reassuring. He was able to get us in quickly and they were able to fix the car within a week. I had already been paying for a rental car for 2.5 months. I will always be a customer and refer people to this shop. I also have a review on the Nextdoor app & google as well. Thank you to Pete and the team at Car Guy Shop for helping us out of a very difficult situation efficiently & quickly.

The best experience that I’ve had in a while at a shop! They were willing to take on repairs for my Mercedes Benz at an affordable price and the crew here is very knowledgeable. It feels more like a family than a business, which adds to the great atmosphere, I’ll be back from now on for any and all my cars here in the valley, I highly recommend them!

These guys are amazing! Like any woman I have had issues when I go to repair shops with people telling me I need things that I don’t need and since I usually work on my own vehicles, I know when they’re feeding me a line a bull. These guys did the exact opposite! Anything they knew or thought I could do they told me would be cheaper if I did myself and then bring it back for the things that I can’t do and they would take care of those things. They have incredibly low prices for their services! As a fellow small business owner, I’d like to thank you guys for all your help and honesty! Anytime I need work done that I can’t get done myself I will definitely be bringing my trucks back here!

Most friendly and helpful mechanic in the valley. Will not try to upsell or swindle you. Isn't afraid to help you out and save you some money. Could not recommend more (I never leave reviews)

I took my vehicles years ago when I lived in Chandler to Car Guy . I moved away then came back and was happy to see they were just as awesome.I needed three lean codes diagnosed and repaired and for it to pass emissions and it did!! Exceptional communication during the process and was able to help m save money. What do the kids say now days? Highly recommend!!Services: Exhaust

I took my Mustang GT to Gene and Pete, and they completely saved the day. I took my Mustang elsewhere inititially to a shop (rhymes with Appa on McQueen ave), and they completely screwed me over. Long story short, I had a blown head gasket and decided it was time to make some upgrades. Ordered a set of cams and some intake parts to replace stock; two months and 13 cam timing codes later, I had the car towed from that shop to Car Guys new location. The immediately dug into the engine and found exactly where the other shop went wrong. They took the time to walk me through and explain everything that was diagnosed through their troubleshooting process. They retimed my cams and the engine runs like a top. I was thoroughly pleased and will never trust anyone else with my car.

Gene and the crew are great to work with. Saved about $800 avoiding a side mirror replacement. Hadn't done the job before, but they took care of it no problem. Even offered a personal shuttle ride. 10/10 would highly recommend.

They took me for $1,800. Took my truck in for an exhaust leak, oil leak And told them my truck was running really rich. The did a tune up and that is it. Tried to fix my exhaust leak and did not. It was worse when I got it home than when I brought it in. Said headers were warped. They said oil leak is from my oil pan. Tried to fix it but did not. Still leaks. Truck still runs rich. So, I had a tune up for $1,800. Took truck to another shop , and fixed my exhaust leak. They said it’s not the headers. It’s the exhaust from headers back. I will not recommend them at all. Very unprofessional. Told me that if the other shop fixed it, that’s good. WOW , really professional

Prior to coming here the place i went to quoted me over $800 including labor to replace power steering fluid hoses saying I had two leaks. Not feeling confident in their recommendation i took my car to the car guy who assessed my car and found one leak not two and replaced the part needed for less than half the cost i was previously quoted. I am not super knowledgeable about cars and he walked me through step by step to show me what was going on and where. I was so impressed and happy to find a down to earth mechanic who genuinely wants you to have a safe car and not take advantage of any lack of knowledge a customer may have about their vehicle. Its been a few weeks and Ive not had any other leaks or concerns, I will definitely bring my car back if i ever need and 100% recommend!

The technicians here are very nice and helpful. The dealership told me I have oil leakage on my rear end, and wanted to charge me a hundred to diagnose (and thousands to repair). I came to the car guy to check it out, and it turned out to be just oil residual needing no repairs at all. Thanks you, the car guy!
