I didn't have a good experience at the BMO Harris off AZ Ave and I went to this location and met Monica Otoole. She absolutely went above and beyond for my husband and I. She helped us out and took care of everything. I really really appreciate her!!!!! ? It really helped us a lot with our financial situation.

Probably okay for banking services but I'd avoid having documents notarized at this branch as they are very unfamiliar with notarization practices and the state notary manual (I am a former notary public). Had some consular documents that required notarization and the notary refused because they claimed the documents were in a foreign language despite the original document being both in English and the other language. Arizona state law REQUIRES that a notary public CANNOT refuse a notarization of a document if a reasonable request is made. Even as I explained that the document was in English all I got was a blank stare. Not surprisingly another bank had zero issues with my request.

This bank does not accept or honor a Arizona General Power of Attorney. I am a retired United States Army veteran and my father has recently been admitted to the VA hospital in Phoenix. He has given me POA to conduct his buisness and pay his bills. I cannot access his money to do this because this bank declines my use of the POA. They have not given me another course of action and way to resolve this. Meanwhile my fathers bills will continue to be late or overdue. Theyve stated to me that its their policy to not accept a POA but cannot assist me in finding another way. My father will close out this bank and choose another once released. Hopefully he will still have a home and power.water.etc... As those bills arent getting paid. If you are a Veteran . please take note. This could easily be you in my predicament.

This bank is a bunch of crooks. Signed up for no overdraft protection, meaning if the funds arent available, the charge should be rejected. Was advised after they allowed charges to go through, their terms of service states they reserve the right to allow charges to go through. They are extorting customers. Secondly, they refunded half the overdraft which the account was still negative and that triggered another overdraft fee. These people are absolute crooks. The manager was supposed to call me back 3 weeks ago, after the rude banker took my info and hung up on me. Stay as far away from this bank as possible.

What a joke this place is I came in and they didn't have any masks to offer the public and the big old lady with the brown hair that sits to the right when you come through the door was very rude and they took over a half an hour to cash my checkbecause she felt it was necessary to chat with another person from some other bank about some computer issues they had this morning rather than taking care of the customer that was standing there waiting for nearly a half an hour to get the check approved. and I was the only person in the building and that is not an exaggeration all I have to say is this place is clown shoes

Worst bank in AZ. Their managers are indifferent to helping and just play the broken record repeating montra “I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do.” Had my account here for 8 years and I’m HAPPY to be closing it and moving on.

I took my cash inside to change 15 $20 Bill's for 3 $50 Bill's. This private organization NOT a bank told me I needed to have an account with. Thsts NEVER going to happen.

I have always had very friendly, polite, professional and helpful service at the Chandler Blvd & Dobson BMO Harris bank branch. I had been a Wells Fargo customer for 35 years. Applying for a home equity line of credit for our paid-off home was a nightmare with Wells Fargo. I had stuck with WF through all their hard times, but was treated like they could care less about a loyal customer. In contrast, I contacted BMO Harris as a brand new customer and was treated WONDERFULLY, every step of the way. The manager at the Chandler Blvd branch, Dia and the closing officer, Michael could not have been nicer and were very efficient and professional. As a result, I am switching all of my accounts to BMO Harris and will be a lifelong customer.

I just read Matthew B's review and I have a similar story. I went through the drive-thru and had a $100 bill and asked for change. The teller asked me if I had an account there, and I said no, but my cousins do. The change was for a party at my cousin's anyway, not that it should matter. She refused to change a $100 bill. I couldn't believe it. This is supposed to be a bank. A bank should be able to make change. What ever happened to customer service? I asked her if that was the bank's policy and she said it is all bank's policy. That is not true, since I have been to other banks that had no problem helping me. At this point, I would certainly never consider opening an account with them, and suggest if you care about customer service, you don't either.
