Botched transition following acquisition of BBVA. My BBVA business debit card stopped working and I had not received a PNC card which left me unable to access my business account. After multiple calls to PNC Bank, nobody ever answered. I moved my account to Desert Financial, which has performed as expected.

Check the bills they give you. I was given a fake 100 dollar bill from one of the tellers. Went to deposit it at my chase atm and the atm rejected it went straight back they took my 100 dollar bill and told me I was s.o.l. And so I lose 100 dollars cause they didn’t do their job.

So I had an account with BBVA compass. I had fraud commited on my account a few months back so they said they would close it. They said they would dispute the charges. They did not ever do that for some reason. Now the stimulus went in, they took the money for the fraud that someone did, and the rest they kept for overcharge fees . They said I can't file a dispute now it's too late. So just be warned this bank does not care and takes all your money!

Been banking for years with BBVA on 54th street. They have the most genuine, nicest staff who go out of there way to assist. No other bank notarizes documents for free and with a smile.

I am banked with this company back in Feb 2020, about 4 months ago. When I opened my checking account with BBVA, they promised to deposit into my checking account $200 promotional when a brand new checking account is opened. This promotion will immediately occur after I do my direct deposit through payroll system a total of $500 in 3 months. So I did that and now 4 months pass by, I called them this morning and asked why my $200 still had not deposited. They said i have to wait until the end of May 31 2020 before bank will deposit the promotional $200 within 90 days. So the banker talked me into open a new account to get this $200 but I have to wait for a total of nearly half year to get their promotion. I had opened account with Chase, they gave me $300 within 10 days vs 6 months with BBVA. I shared with you all on here so open with Chase for more money and faster cash. BBVA is not near an all around good bank as it is with Chase or Welfargo... can't say the same for Bank of America. Good luck !!!! Oh by the way, BBVA on line banking and credit card are very slow just like the cash they promised . Customer Service is also not that impressive

I have been banking with BBVA for many years. The staff Ally, Patty, Tracy, Andrea, & Luke are the very best! They make it very easy to do banking for our business and personal banking! They are not only the most genuinely pleasant people to work with! They are also extremely competent in there respected positions. This makes banking with BBVA such a pleasure! Thank You All !!!

I had a horrible experience with Scott Heiken the Merchant Services Agent. This guy did not appear to know his products very well, was difficult to get answers from and pretty much provided little to no value. I had previously been using PayPal and Scott convinced me I would be saving a lot more money if I switched over to his product called "Clover." This app turned out to be difficult to set up, which he knew very little of how to set it up. Not getting much help from him, I spent hours messing around with it because it was not intuitive to operate. Long story short I finally realized there was BARELY any savings during the 2 or 3 weeks I tried it out. In fact, there were several transactions that actually charged me more than if I had simply stayed with PayPal. With the frustration I was having trying to get Scott's help and the apparent lack of savings I had been told I would have I finally cancelled with Clover. The final straw and the reason I left this review was I couldn't even get Scott to return a voice message or email when I was trying to find the way to uninstall the "Recurring and Membership" app which I was going to be charged for after the trial period. I finally had to contact the app's customer service to get instructions on where to find the uninstall feature. It is clear his heart was not in helping his customers find a better solution to accepting credit cards. My advice is to use PayPal instead!

I have had the worse experience banking with BBVA since I joined a few months back. I'm repeatedly getting charged fee's when there is funds available in my checking account and they never seem to be able to help when calling and speaking with them. I'm definitely going to be closing all 3 of my accounts with them. I'm very disappointed.
